  1. It does seem to be coming together and I'm glad. Like you, I'm open to where we would meet. I wish I had access to a room but I do not as we are packed and fighting for space internally. Thanks Steve. That would be great.
  2. First thread I've ever read where 99.9% of the replies are solid and filled with good insight. Put me down for quoting everyone above. Sorry about the loss.
  3. Car has 54k on the ODO and we've had it for 50k of those. It's not a lemon or buy back candidate. Will update thread at some point. Thanks to you and others as at least now I have perspective and further thoughts on the matter.
  4. No updates. Hasn't happened in the past few days. I also haven't had the cycles to spend arguing with the dealer. I may drop my Mazda off Friday to get them to fix a recall issue and perhaps will walk over to Dennis to argue a bit more.
  5. Looking to find others managing sales teams of 4-9 folks to connect with for best in practice business discussions. PM or reply if interested. Thanks!
  6. IIRC the Sigma has been known for bad Chroma though. Check that. I believe it's on the wide end too which would be sad. There are a couple Sigma primes in Canon that are decent and their latest high end 70-200 IS is very nice and one I would own.
  7. Seriously? CR Discount in our future? If anyone can make that happen you can bauce!
  8. ^^ this and they are awesome. ^^ this too. Some stuff is pricey, but likely worth it. I'm just a cheap ass and don't buy things if they aren't on sale or promos.
  9. Your friends should have been better. We anxiously await your pics.
  10. Fidgety and nervous....likely would have traded you the saw for a $10 bag of crack. Could have saved $20 if you really tried. Glad it worked out man.
  11. I don't have an answer to remedy the situation, but at look at the bright side, most porn is centered on the screen so you should still be good.
  12. Re..... :gabe: Post Cool shit still.
  13. I use phase.com for personal stuff as you cant beat the tb capacity for so cheap. https://secure2.pbase.com/pricing.html I have moved my pro stuff to smug mug
  14. whatever it's called..they replaced the entire module that the key goes into. they had to re-key the car when done. My point isn't the part/HVAC or it's simplicity. It's that Ford took my word for it and replaced the part even thought they couldn't duplicate it. The key being stuck is the same thing.....just begin fixing it. Again, what's seeing the key stuck going to show them vs me telling them the key is stuck? Are you saying that three instances of this real issues is being anal? Have you had an instance like this strand your wife calling you freaked out as she has two kids in the car at school while trying to make a court hearing? That's happened to me twice. I don't call that being anal. I call that spending nearly my hard earned money on a vehicle that touts a huge beneficial warranty and getting what I paid for. Given their behavior and how they have treated me, they haven't earned my trust or respect that they could keep my vehicle for a week and recreate it. Why should I take that inconvenience when they have already had the vehicle for this repair on more than one occasion? Do their job, turn the page in the book and begin fixing it. It's not throwing parts at it if you know there's a problem. How do they know? Because I don't go around wasting my time making up a key is stuck in the steering column. I have way too much value in my time to do that. I know you're only trying to help, so don't take my post personally.
  15. Cordell, Rocky, others....thanks. It does give me a good perspective as that's what I was looking for; your thoughts as those in the field / service bays dealing with this daily. With your help, I have more good information and items to consider. I just can't believe Hyundai won't cover the techs going through these very points brought up here to fix the problem. My example to Terri from Hyundai USA Corporate is that what they are telling me is equiv. to walking into your home, flipping on your TV and having it intermittiently begin smoking. Now if that happened and it the repair guy didn't see it smoking so go ahead and continue using it, would you? Would you really accept, "wait until your TV Begins smoking again then call me" and hope it keeps smoking for him to see? Hell no you wouldn't.....but you expect me to put my wife in a situation where she's stuck downtown heading to a court hearing, tell everyone in the court including a judge to wait while she calls roadside and Hyundai? Really? Great customer service. I mean if all that has to happen to make a customer happy and fix the issue is to say you saw it, then say it. Say it and fix the problem just the same as you would/will when I drive the damn thing into the dealership with the key stuck!! There's ZERO difference. Turn the page in the repair guide and begin resolving it. It really pisses me off because I know damn well how this is going to end. I just thank God they will be the ones dealing with my wife who will be driving it through their showroom window when it does. :masturboy:
  16. Prayers to the family of the woman who was driving. Her sister and passenger was killed the day of the incident. Today, she too lost her life to the actions of these fools. I hope to God they get more than 5yrs.

  18. Adding comments has been disabled for this video. Go figure :lolguy:
  19. Hyundai Entourage Minivan. Ford has been a dream to work with. Only two issues, but one of them was simliar, a squeaky HVAC fan. They couldn't recreate it and said to just drive it and let them know if it comes back. It did and makes a squeaky noise off/on. Again, not all the time. They just replaced it and said no worries. It's been fine since.
  20. So where would he begin knowing the ignition switch has just been replaced? What's seeing a key stuck in there in person going to show him? Why not begin there? My point is the issue is happening, so there is something wrong. Not he steering wheel being turned/locked nor a worn key. The ignition unit was just replaced and the car re-keyed.
  21. No. They did replace two door sensors without seeing them fail. I guess recalls don't need to qualify. I think the video idea might work. Just doesn't make a damn bit of sense to call Roadside, cancel a day of court hearings and flat bed a car with a battery that is being drained to show them a stupid key stuck in the ignition.
  22. Forgot your point.....yes, it's an auto. No the wheel isn't turned, locked, etc.... I don't buy they can't see it. They tell me that too when all they are going to see is the key stuck in the ignition. No different than I'm telling them. It's not like they can't troubleshoot it by my own words or a video vs actually seeing it. I can disconnect the battery and restart it or even just restart it and eventually get the key to pop out, so it's not like they can troubleshoot by doing anything different and have 100% assurance what they did will fix it. All I'm asking is they begin diagnosing the issue. :dumb:
  23. Thanks everyone for the input. Really a frustrating situation. Especially since I'm in sales/customer service and never let a customer walk unhappy. Video is something I've not thought of. Great idea. I wish I would have done that Friday when it acted up as my wife drove into the garage and asked me to go try it. It was a PIA. I don't trust Dennis Hyundia one fucking bit. They lied flat out about the brakes needing done. Even went so far as to say there were millimeters left on them and they wouldn't recommending driving it. Kyle at PPC checked it out and found nearly 50% pad left. I was pissed and brought their write up into the dealership and asked for clarification. None was ever provided. They all danced well though. Hyundia Entorouge Minivan with 54k on the ODO. We've owned it since 4K on the clock and it's well maintained. Dennis Hyundai :fuuuu: I agree it's not likely the ignition switch, but could it be related to the gear shift, brake pedal, electronics elsewhere? Done and done. Three instances since the replacement and I am sure to email them and fax them and keep copies of both. I always call them too. Joe there is not happy to hear from me I'm sure. Good point and I agree. That's what pisses me off. It could lock up in the garage and not kick out the key, but I could in turn get back in the car, start it and drive to the dealer and then it could pop right out. I usually restart the car shift it out of gear, etc....a couple times to get it out. It's not so regular that I can force it though. We went nearly 2 weeks without an instance just recently, then Friday it got stuck. I see your point, but I live near the one off Billingsley and while I completely understand the above, I shouldn't have to drive to another dealer. This dealer and the manufacturer should fix it. Overall, they called me again today (Hyundai Corporate) which led no where. They pretty much have convinced me to fuck them when it comes to buying another car. So far the vehicle has been fine. no complaints. Service from the dealer here is what is horrible. Corp. hasn't been much help either.
  24. So in terms of warranty work where there's a definite issue that's being experienced on an intermittent interval, how would you handle a dealer telling you the typical "can't recreate the issue" so you're on your own until it happens again where we can actually see it? I'm frustrated as this is an issue that the vehicle has been in the shop for prior. The ignition switch has been replaced once, but the key still get's stuck and won't come out. It takes minutes of playing with it to get it out. Again, maybe once per week. My understanding is that it could be a couple things but I find it unacceptable to "deal with it" until I can arrive at the dealer with the key still stuck or have it towed. How would you handle it? What is reasonable to expect from the dealer? The manufacturer?
