Not sure an ATS-V is going to be much better.

^^ this. I kicked ours up to 65 the other night while washing the van and by the time I was done it was 72 in the garage and I was sweating. Not bad considering it was 35 outside. Unless your garage is drafty or poorly insulated, one you kick it up to 65-70 degrees it will usually hover pretty warm for a while. Especially if you're working on something. I know for me if it's above 65 out there and I'm working on something it's perfect.

Because my neck was hurting me http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/Misc%20Fun/30c1635_zpsnqzu6vut.jpg http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/Misc%20Fun/vcqeea_zpsnr8xhqvk.jpg Nice pickup!

Hyde Park is good. Mitchell's too. The Top Steakhouse isn't bad. Those are my three. I usually select Hyde Park and Mitchell's for my company events.

Looks like one of the better temporary or occasional use ones I've seen.

Here's the one I'm having installed in the coming weeks to replace a 25+ year old one. 220V and heats a cold garage with ease. Neighbor has one. My garage rarely gets below 50 unless temps plummet to below zero. I always just set it to 45. During morning coffee I would turn it up to 70 so the cars and garage were toasty when getting loaded up. Even the old one kicks ass and heats the place to 70 within a few minutes. Today It was 65 and I was sweating working on two cars. Had to open the garage twice to cool it off. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000PSFRTG/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=252YBUCMFWRFS&coliid=I1WURXW70D4TIS&psc=1

Bring me that G8 and we'll get that baby looking like it's a 2016 too Anytime. Thanks for trusting in my work. The only downside to all this detailing is I"m digging the cars and now I've got both an AMG Bug and now off to talk the wife into an FJ to replace the family hauler Save

Adding a few more pics from today as Adam came to pick her up. Together we did the tail gate as I wasn't comfortable removing his spare tire given it has a special LED light and wiring installed there. Took us about 20 minutes to pull it all off, polish and then reinstall everything. Here's a link to more images Save

if you don't do this tell them I have a beautifully clean 2007 Hyundai Minivan they can use for as long as they like

It looks brand new. Certainly not 9 years old. Those battle scars we talked about....sorry, but they are all gone. None left. None of your FJ buddies will believe you've been off road with this one Hopefully I'll get some decent pics Sunday. Going to be cloudy and cold but hopefully not raining. Until then, here are a couple from the garage as she's sleeping for the night. She is looking sharp: http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/20161203_184435%20web_zpsf0errrbe.jpg http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/20161203_184829%20web_zpsdmmjjf0u.jpg The Eggshell White roof is single stage paint. So we've all seen Adams sweet FJ and the off-road fun he's used it for which is admirable. Now as we approach winter his baby needs some love and when I say love I mean it. David's AMG has nothing in terms of paint defects when compared to an FJ that has battled tree roots with it's door and pushed anything that grows out of the way. The initial goal here was to stay on-budget but also provide great results. Looking at things more closely it really wasn't much in the way of additional work to go from good to great so Adam pulled the trigger and as of this morning I'm off and running. We've all heard the phrase I'm likely mis-quoting but "aim for perfection and settle for excellence" and that's what the new goal is....perfection but in hopes that at the worse case, excellence is what is produced. I think we're on target Adam! The color is an outstanding tri-color black metallic. Although it would barely show through if at all prior to the cleanup. Work is underway but here are few sneak peak cell shots. Passenger Door....but the whole damn truck looks like this http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/20161203_110745%20web_zpsbakxx3cy.jpg Passenger Rear Door 50/50 shots after just a quick hit with Compound and a Microfiber Pad http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/20161203_112536%20web_zpsoio6e822.jpg Passenger Rear Door and Rear Quarter after a quick hit of HD Polish on an orange pad http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/20161203_115603%20web_zpsuroleght.jpg Now the Metallic Paint Explodes when hit with light http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/20161203_115757%20web_zpsxe5qb1zh.jpg More updates coming and perhaps a few videos too. Many of us know Nickey's S-10 but he also has hopped up little hatch that was in need of a good clean up and Ceramic Coating to prepare it for winter. He also opted for a ceramic glass coating as the windows were in even greater need of a clean up and having the ability to shed water and snow will most certainly help visibility which is a must given the dark tint. Overall the clear/paint wasn't horrible but had it's fair share of soft cloth auto-car washes and they took their toll in the form of scratches and light swirls. being white it was also loaded with contaminants that began to show through as rust spots in the clear coat. The process began with a rinseless wash pre-soak since the weather has chilled and I'm not about to wash a car in the cold. I also decontaminated it with Iron-X and used the hot & cold water in the garage to rinse it clean. For those that have asked, I fold my Eagle Edgeless into sections of either 8 or 16 clean surfaces as shown here. Two swipes on each section allows for 16 to 32 fresh towel passes per. In other words, much safer than a traditional two bucket wash and offers the ability to wash an entire car like this with 4-5 towels. Album of Images Here Thanks again to Nickey for trusting in my work. Save

There is. It's CR and we need humor. I'm with you though, yes the family is key. I've worked with Joe and another very good expert to help secure a plan for my home and yes, we do take it seriously as the wife and I were burglarized back in the early 90's when we lived in an apartment and were home. Back then it was just me with little training and a loaded 12 gauge. Agree. In our home, I'm within very close proximity to access no matter where I'm at. I just leave it at that. Doesn't matter where you live, a plan is necessary. Again, Joe and others have be instrumental in insuring training, confidence and planning has been covered as best possible. Not to be a Joe commercial but the guy is solid and someone I highly recommend.

In my case I cared for my father the last 12 months of his life. Moved him to Columbus and had to leverage a fabulous assisted living center. His death was expected but we were fortunate enough to know it was likely not weeks but months to years. I'll try and bullet point a few random thoughts but am always open for a cup of coffee as this is a pretty near/dear subject. Painful for me honestly. It's been 2.5yrs but I'd be lying if I said I didn't break down every now and then. Time helps though... If he's well enough to go places within reason and it's not too terribly difficult, do it but only if it's his thing. My dad wanted to sit on a beach and feel the sand he said during a silly conversation one time. I drove him to Virginia Beach and we lived like kings even if it was only for four days. I regret not having enough time to just sit and watch a baseball game with him, talk sports and listen to his stories of what life was like growing up one more time. Others have mentioned perhaps the most important thing and in my case the conversation one day just went down the path of soul bearing. Dad shared things with me that blew my hair back at times. Things and personal items I never knew. Not jsut about him or me or my family but events in his life. I will never forget that moment and feeling as I don't know if it was him internalizing and accepting his own death but that night was about 36hrs before he passed. Lastly I will tell you the very most intimate moment and one that makes me tear up even as I type, is that I was with him and by his side for the entire last two weeks of his life. Most importantly those last two days. I showered at the hospital and stayed with him through his last breath. Perhaps the hardest moment of my 46yrs. He chose to remove his oxygen mask and pass on his terms. He faced it like the soldier he was in the day and I will never forget the heartache flet but I just try and remember that he was ready to go and it was pure respect and bravery and love he exhibited right up to the end. Be there with him for him and for you. Don't try and prepare as you can't. Remember though time does help. I don't think it will ever heal the wound you'll feel, but it softens the pain. Good luck to you man.

The house across the street from us got hit two weeks ago. 7:30'ish at night too. Kicked int he back door but ran after they saw the family's two young kids inside. Yes....family was home but the father left in the van thus perhaps they were being cased and thought the family left. Now they leave their lights on outside and keep the place overall well lit. Funny thing is we have told them they really need to at least leave a porch light on but they never have.

not questioning it, but am curious to the source that indeed proves he wrote it. I've not seen this outside here is why I ask. THanks! Save

Whatever place you choose, talk to the manager and operations manager for the kitchen up-front about timing as turn time can kill a great dinner. I can't tell you how much of a buzz kill it is when you go to a nice place with a big group and it takes fucking forever for food to come out.
