So Brian aka Unleashed brought his Wife's 2012 Ford Explorer with just about 68k on the clock over for what Option 2: A Premium Enhancement.The Premium Enhancement adds optical clarity, depth of color and seasonal protection using a tried and proven single step polish and hybrid sealant that removes light swirls, scratches and defects. With this correction the goal is to significantly reduce and in many cases eliminate 75%+ of the swirls and abrasions. This process will not remove deeper scratches or fully correct badly abraded surfaces. With this process I was able to remove a considerable amount of swirls and scratches and got the vehicle to what I would say is about 85-90% perfect. It's a daily driver that will see all that mom and kids and soccer and automated car washes will throw at it so perfection isn't likely a reality. The amount of correction necessary will vary depending on the delivery condition and brief time you may have the vehicle on the road. Ideal situation is to have this service performed within the first 30 days of ownership. The new car prep and protection package does include Sealing of both the paint and glass with their respective ceramic nano paint coatings. The paint coating is good for 1-2 years and the glass coating will provide a wonderful hydrophobic effect for 12-18 months. Option 1: Basic Clean & Protect Detail The Basic Clean and Protect Detail adds shine and seasonal protection using an industry leading hybrid sealant known for its durability and cleaning capability. This detail option is perfect to keep your paint looking clean and shine nicely. Recommended for: This service is recommended between full correction services to maintain a layer of protection on your vehicle. After initial correction I will wipe down and alternate the lighting as I re-inspect the entire vehicle and spot polish any flaws that remain and can be removed. Recommended for: Target towards vehicle owners who are interested as near to flawless results where achievable. Interior Detail Offerings: The interior of your vehicle is where the cleanliness of it can be seen and felt. One very important point that I work to ensure is that when your interior is completed that the materials will have a factory appearance finish. So tonight Brian aka Unleashed, brought the first of two rides over to get cleaned up. Tonight was his daily driver. The goal here given it's a daily driver that see's it share of Moo Moo Car washes was to perform a strong clean up and polish but without too much focus on correcting the paint which again will just get abused going forward. It does correct minor flaws and makes the paint silky smooth and slick so a far cry from the sandpaper this one started out with. I suspect the vehicle sits under a tree or is exposed to some major fallout somewhere. What was performed: Option 1: Basic Clean & Protect Detail (2-3 hours) The Basic Clean and Protect Detail adds shine and seasonal protection using an industry leading hybrid sealant known for its durability. This detail option is perfect to keep your paint looking clean, however, it will not correct any swirling or scratching already present. (I did lean-into Brian's car a bit though) as I have soft-spot for the car and color My Fusion Sport wasn't perfect but it was a good car for me. ^^^ Jason is a solid guy and did our home for a great deal and did a wonderful job. It was just the trim only but a lot of it and he had several guys help him. He also has done other work in our neighborhood since, all with great results.

Leave in morning and coordinate who brings what for a Lunch cook out? Couple small grills or use charcoal ones at a state park? Just a thought.

IMO the photo is of a black car. The color balance and exposure are off on that image. I could correct it but instead just linked to their image. I can make yours shine better than that I wouldn't go with black wheels if it were me. Go with an anthracite if anything dark. IMO you lose too much of the visual depth and design of a wheel when it's solid black. Save

Tow hook mount and you'll be fine. It doesn't bother me as much as I thought my OCD Self might be bothered. The reason being I'm already likely pushing the limits of speed and I don't need to add one more thing to push a CPD Officer shooter laser to want to come after me. I get forgiven enough and like to think the fact that I do have a front plate and it's off-set location at least tells them I'm "trying" to be compliant......even if I'm going 75-77 in a 65mph zone. The only thing I can't confirm but can see on the Volt would be perhaps the plate would interfere with the front parking sensor, etc. Not sure. Save Save

Just a follow up.....John is a great guy and his employee, Mike is the one who actually did the repair. Top notch guys and the fix was only $95 total. Two fo the buttons Video 1 and Video 2 were stuck in the depressed / on mode. I suspect my son or a friend kicked it or hit it with something while playing the basement. Lesson learned. All in all I'm glad you suggested these folks. Saved a $1k receiver for not much coin. Thanks!
