The article AudiOn19s linked has my favorite pair of Bose noise canceling headphones. They are not BT and they are at your dollar limit at $300 but they sound great. They take 1 AAA battery. You can demo the headphones at Target. It was a POS but not many people at my high school had a car to drive. Barely anyone could say I bought a car and making monthly payments on it. It was a manual, I made enough money to afford gas, and upkeep. I drove myself and a few others to school. Many packs of camels and black and milds were smoked in the parking lot of my school. I gave zero fucks about all of it. Didn't even care that it felt like an underpowered go-kart with doors.

I kind touched on what I felt about Verizon in my previous cell phone thread but I will rehash. I've been a subscriber since 2001. I have signal everywhere but some parts of hocking hills and parts driving through some mountains in WV. Driving state to state everything works. Pandora streams for hours driving through states with almost no issues. I've never said to myself why the fuck can't I make a phone call, why does my call keep dropping while I am driving, why can't send a text message, why don't I have enough signal to open google.com? I've made calls without drops on Hawaii, on the border of California and Mexico, the middle of cornfields Nebraska, and more wind turbines than humans Illinois. As for a company I fucking haaaaate verizon. I feel they are shady, overcharge, and fill their phones with useless apps that you can't uninstall unless rooted. I can't complain that much on my monthly bill as I have an employee discount. I get 20% off the voice part of my bill. My 2 year contract is up as of this month and my final bill after fees/tax is $90. That includes unlimited calls, SMS/MMS, and 4GB of monthly data. It used to be the same price for 3GB. They put me on some fancy plan a few months ago since I am a "loyal customer" as they worded it. I am all for the extra data. With all my music streaming while driving I am all for it.

That "subset of people" as you put it have not put enough thought behind their life choices. If you can afford a fleet of pristine 100% damage free vehicles AND can not afford shelter for ALL the vehicles something is wrong. And being lazy is not the reason here. Get your priorities in check

You guys that park outside need to buy a car cover if the paint damage bothers you to the point of causing harm to other drivers. I use a $5 blue tarp to cover my front windshield. Works perfect if you tarp before it snows. Today I took it off and no snow and ice. My wiper blades were also dry. I only had to clean the back window. You could also tarp the back windows for quicker mornings. But always clean off your roof and hood with a brush or a broom. Otherwise you are an asshole.

I have some 9MM and .380acp I ordered many months ago and I haven't used it. I don't even know now if I want to risk any of it. What is the worst that could happen if these went off in the chamber? Lose a finger and destroy your firearm? I haven't had any problems with their .223 and 5.56 rounds.

For those with the note4 love do you notice any kernel wakelocks that are excessive? My note2 always has "mdm_hsic_pm0" running for too long. It is I guess random when it happens. Reboot always stops it but it doesn't take long for it to happen again. From what I've read on XDA developers it is limited to Samsung hardware, it might be caused when the phone has zero signal, and no one really knows of a permanent fix. I just get into a habit of rebooting my phone often because it really does drop my battery by 10% an hour when it is stuck. Oh you played a stupid game? Reboot device. Oh you finished listening to pandora? Reboot device. Oh you left it plugged into charger all night and you just woke up? Reboot phone. I am pretty sure this is windows 95 not android.

You can do that with software. I use a macro program for keystrokes like that at work. It works well. TypingMaster's QuickPhrase is the name of it. I am using a very old outdated version that is stupid simple. I can't find it the old version anyone on the internet. I can e-mail you the program if you want it.

I believe you. I've had zero problems in the big island of Hawaii, San Diego, Coronado Island, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Albuquerque, and, Amarillo. Those are all larger cities so that maybe why I had awesome signal. I drove through Oklahoma and Missouri stopping at random places for food and no problems with signal. Also driving through Chicago where there are more windmills than people was fine. Being about 1 hour away from Wisconsin border and had awesome signal. I've been with Verizon since 2001 with tons of different phones and I really only had zero signal in a part of hocking hills. I am really looking for a good reason to switch to ATT or whoever else but I can't come up with one yet.

What states have you been in without signal? I've not had any issues when I've been on vacation with the exception of WV. But I at least have 1X in the mountains to make calls.
