module fixed car runs brakes suck new caliper seems to be messed up somewhere hoses are brand new russel lines someone pm me who is willing to look at the car for cheap as possible i might take it to gearhead rob if he has time

How do i go about doing that?

I took the caliper off the bracket had my brother push the pedal caliper came out but didnt go back in stuck caliper i take it?

Not that I can see the pads look fine so does the rotor but its gotta be sticking the car is being held back it sticks so bad, i might take it to firestone or midas and have them do a brake inspection

I pulled it off, pushed the pedal the piston came out and seemed to go back in, and yes the rotors were cleaned as well as everyhting else, the whole differential/brake set up is new...

I have kyb Gr2 shocks and quad shocks in the back they are good shocks the kyb quad shocks bolt right up to stock quad shock locations

The lines are brand new with 50 miles on the russel stainless steel lines, I agree with you I have had that happen, but the line is already new hope its not that....

1988 Mustang 5.0 with a 1993 cobra/88 turbo coupe rear end, all new lines all around the car, even hard lines, brake set up has 50 miles on it and the calipers out back and brand new from napa, get out of the car the other day smell somehting and see smoke coming from the driver side rear caliper, do i need to bleed brakes more or caliper a factory defect? any help?

just put them on my car havent had a problem and they were a fancy red color haha

replaced the eec relay fuel problem is gone, relaced the distributor module car is running again kinda ran odd, but smoothed out now i need to replace my rear claliper that decided to stick...

Thank you mike, I wish I could get it there Im really stuck here and cant figure anyhting out, I dont have triple A and dont seem to be getting anywhere, I even jumped the fuel pump relay so it was running all the time and the car woulndt start cranked like no other but didnt fire up...im temped to sell the damn thing...

First off the car as of now is my daily driver, and will NOT start, Second of all I want to say thanks to Mike Ward for leading me in the right directon, But I have no way of moving the car to a shop and its sitting in my buddys driveway here in dublin, I have posted numerous threads on here but it seems one thing leads to another, rather than confuse everyone on here give me a call on my cell if you are good with 87-93 fox mustangs especially wiring issues, the car did start and run yesterday somehow then i turned it off now nothing again.... I need help bad, Should i just get it a mile up the street and take it to germain ford and have them diagnose the problem? or will they say its too old and not like all my after market sutff? I bought my car with a short throw in it, not sure what it is allthough i should since i have had the tranny in and out ill pop the boot and see if its gotta a name on it whatever it is i love it, ill let ya know

I have a 1988 GT vert 5 speed, it sat for a year, I put new bbk 255lph pump in it and premium fuel in it fired it up and has ran great for the last 60 miles, battery was acting up, the car died one night while i was driving it hard, let it sit, no fuel pump prime but started up 5 min later and got it home, battery problem was stll there so replaced it fired right up no problem, the fuel pump stayed on when i got home after the car was off installed new ignition switch problem seemed to go away, drove the car over to my buddys no probelms got on it hard on the freeway ran like a top, car sat outside his house all day went to start it nothing, sprayed starting fluid in it and it ran for minute then died, replaced the igniton module still ntohing, the relay on the passenger side fender was clicking, and one of the wires (pink/light blue on) was corroed and messed up. still nothig is that a fuel relay? does anyone know whats goin on here im so fed up im bout to sell the car. Hope more insight (as listed above) helps
