I always end up watching Ice Road Truckers.

I pay $120.00 a month for the Sti, an old Ford F250, and a 92 Civic hatch. I only have full coverage on the Sti though. I didn't think this was too bad, but I'm older, homeowner, kids, no tickets/accidents myself (hubby a couple small accidents a few years back) which probably helps some. I remember paying around the same if not a little higher for the RSX-S that we had.

The salesman actually tried to tell me that it wouldn't be costly to insure my sti because it was a 4 door sedan. He was so full of bs, but I already knew that when the insurance company ran the vin it would cost me.

I've been addicted for about a week now. I wish myspace wasn't blocked at my office. Is there a way to add members to my mafia that have been mafia members longer than myself? I can't seem to get any new recruits but have several friends that are already mafia members that I would like to add.

Carlsbad Caverns in NM are pretty awesome if anyone ever gets the chance. The natural entrance is neat.

It hurts to put premium in it though. I cringe everytime I need to fill up (1-2 times weekly) but I love the car, so I guess you gotta pay to play. Off topic, sorry: I'm just wondering what our old Civic would have read on another type of dyno when it read 358 on the mustang. Any ideas/formulas?

+1 to spaceghost for the mustang dyno comment. I always thought they were the most accurate also. We used to have our Civic tuned on a mustang dyno at Tom Payne's in Michigan when he was still in business.

I average between 20-22 mpg. I drive like an old lady most of the time and daily mostly highway commute 20 miles each way. Last summer when traveling on interstate for vacation we averaged 25 mpg. on a few tanks which I thought was pretty decent. Mods: I have aftermarket exhaust and recently bought a Cobb tuner. I haven't noticed alot of difference in mpg. since buying the Cobb though.

Sorry to hear Thorne. The founder of my company passed away this morning. He was 101 years old.

Our previous Civic ran low 12's on street tires and it took a lot of cash to get it built over the years. I'm sure you could go less crazy than our setup but it was very reliable and ran for 5+ years daily driven and still runs except some old guy ran a stop light and t-boned the front end of the car so it's being swapped into a new shell. I would say we easily spent over 10K over the years. Dart block, custom intercooler, gator axles, turbo setup, etc.

I know but I always park way out where no one else is parked and return to find rice or trash cars all around me when there are plenty of other spots closer, WTF.

Shrek fixed my car a couple years ago. I think it cost around $150.00 for a good size dent in the driverside door thanks to some ricer or welfare trash who felt the need to park next to me out in the middle of nowhere land at walmart.

I wouldn't call myself a super mark. I would just like to meet him and the gang. I figure this will be the last time I will be able to get out before my surgery so why not spend some extra cash and have a good time.
