  1. I'm looking for a reliable daily driver but it doesn't have to be 300+ hp. I probably won't be added very many modifications if any. I need something all wheel drive because of where I live. I'd like to stick with something turbo also for the power. I would like something also a little "older" person looking than the sti and roomier since I have 2 kids now. The salesman told us about the coilpacks but that sounds like a small issue and pretty cheap to fix if goes bad. I am looking at a 05.5 and has the 2.0.
  2. My Sti is totalled and I was looking at an 05 A4. I really liked the car but know nothing about them. Any input about the reliability, problem areas, gas mileage would be appreciated. Thanks!!
  3. As posted on COS: Well, after a long period of debate with myself, I have decided to sell all my golf clubs. Actually, I have already sold my Nike Slingshot irons. I have decided to focus on my car rather than golf. One weekend, I got to think...... I spend $35-$50 on a round and if I had a bad round... I feel like I wasted my money. But I would play again and again and after playing 4-5 rounds, I could have gotten myself a nice set of springs for my car and be "happy" with it. So I want to sell them to use them as a fund to fix up my car. Since I already sold my irons, here is what I have: TAYLORMADE BURNER TP DRIVER - $200 (I bought this driver June October 2007. I bought this club for $399) TAYLORMADE BUNER 3-WOOD - $100 (I bought this August 2007. I bought this club for $175) NIKE T40 7-WOOD - $45 (I bought this in 2004. I bought this club for $150) TITLEIST VOKEY DESIGN 56 DEGREE SAND WEDGE - $50 (I bought this December 2007. I bought this for $125) NIKE BC.101 PUTTER - $20 (I bought this putter in 2004. I bought this club for $110) NIKE GOLF CART BAG - $45 (I bought this last April. I bought it at $110) I already have pictures, but there are too many and I do not want to take up space here, so if anyone is interested, I will PM you some pictures. If people want me to post them, I will only post the main pictures and send additional per request. Adding all of them comes to $460. If someone buys them all, I will sell them for $425. I wanted to post this before I post it on craigslist.
  4. Rick I just saw a set of adult size for sale on central ohio subarus this morning. Let me know if you would like me to mediate but I know nothing about golfing.
  5. Good advice, I'll keep that in mind. I wouldn't put it past her either.
  6. That was the first thing dad did when he assembled it. No plans for a motor swap, although it's a great thought, maybe someday. Thanks for all the nice comments.
  7. I think it might be faster than a Prius. It does have 2 different speeds 2.5 and 5 miles per hour.
  8. He would need to be pretty tall to reach the pedal but Madi is very short for her age. Her dad had to put a block under the seat so she could reach and have enough weight in the car to stop doing burnouts in the grass non-stop. She's a speed freak already and yes, looking for nitrous under the hood . Actually, she was "feeding" him oil.
  9. So my little girl turned 4 today and she loves Lightning McQueen. Check out the gift we got her. %5Bimg%5Dhttp%3A//i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff45/casilversti/100_1011.jpg[/img] %5Bimg%5Dhttp%3A//i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff45/casilversti/100_1012.jpg[/img]
  10. Replied to PM. Where is it going? I know quite a few truckers.
  11. I have shipped a hood to BC Canada before. It had to be sent truck freight. I made a wood boxed in frame. After the hood was in place, I used expandable foam in bags on all 4 corners to secure. It got there fine.
  12. You definately need a new color on your car for sure.
  13. He's still working on body work. It has to be perfect for Mr. perfectionist. It should look good though.
  14. I've been telling him to get it done for a while now but he works to damn much to have much garage time.
  15. Cort said you don't need a cage since you're slower than 15 seconds..just messing w/ ya. I guess technically we don't live in L-county anymore, just work there.
  16. Well I guess you'll be the fastest CRX in L-county for a little while then.
  17. I think Clear Water's office is right next door to my office building. I wish I knew someone there to give you a hook up.
  18. You're a week too late. The fair was earlier than normal this year.
  19. The officials always warned us when the car was too fast to either slow it down or take it home. Usually they let it slide once but when he backed it up then the officials always came over.
  20. $300.00 is a deal. Cort's custom radiator was wayyyy more.
  21. subarus are like women... better when dirty Then I must be twice as good since my subie and my mind are both always dirty + rep for you- I wished my subie was blue.
  22. We have reverse osmosis filter only on the kitchen sink. We bought it at Home Depot for around $200.00 and bought and installed a water softner system ourselves for around $650.00 including pipes/fittings. It did make a world of difference.
