I have the following parts from off my 2006 Sti for sale: COBB Accessport v.2- purchased from Mead approx. 4 months ago. /has 1 tune in it for all parts that I had on my car - $ 525.00 Perrin turbo inlet tube (red) approx. 9 months old- $125.00 K&N typhoon intake wrinkle red (thick wall)- $150.00 Turbo XS 4" bell mouth to 3" turbo back to axle exhaust- $350.00 Please let me know if you would like pictures. I actually have some of the badges off the Sti that I kept. I figured the junk yard didn't need them.

We always buy cars that are turbo and all wheel drive.

Lol I still miss my subie and would like to have another someday. Although, the Audi is super nice and I could get used to them.

Yeah it definately needs tint and lowered. I can't roll with the baby shades in the back any longer.

It was my hubby's turn to pick the family ride so this is the new car I will be driving (until I get another Subaru). It's an 05 Audi A4 quattro 2.0L, 6 speed. Ford is the same way. When we bought an Acura RSX they treated us like gold but then we bought a $40,000 Ford F250 and they treated us like 2nd class citizens when we went for repairs.

I never met Michelle but their service department sure went downhill after she left. The new service guy refused to give us a loaner (even a Taurus). I found him to be just plain rude. He acted as if I was distracting him from whatever else he was trying to do when I called to set up appointments. He argued with me about the loaner and said they don't do that. They forgot to bolt/put my rear seat in one time after repairs and the shifter was missing bolts in the cover plate.

The salesman told us about the coil pack problem and to carry a spare in the trunk to avoid having to call roadside assistance. He said they could be purchased for around $20.00 but I haven't checked on that. I was unaware that a certified pre-owned car comes with a warranty up to 100,000 miles including roadside assistance. I also was surprised to hear that the next couple services 35K, 45K would be free. They will give us a loaner car (unlike Subaru who refused after Michelle at Byers left). All in all I think it's not going to be a bad car even if it's not one of my beloved Subies.

I thought it will be the insurance company's car because they are paying the lien holder for it and the title will be in their name. I guess it doesn't matter but I have heard of other people buying their cars back.

The adjuster told me we couldn't buy it back because we had a lien on it. He said it was state law, which is total bs. We're not going to buy it back because yesterday when my hubby was removing the aftermarket parts he said the driverside head is broke. avcs or something like that was broken. I do have some parts to sell. I am going to make a list and hopefully post later tonight after work. And of course we had full coverage. I didn't have to pay a deductible since I had 0 on comprehensive.

We originally we going to buy an LGT but I wanted the Sti instead. I have been working on him to get an LGT but he has looked at the Audi and loves it, so I'm in trouble. The next choice of car will come back to me (we alternate turns) so maybe another Subie will be mine someday.

Thanks for the info. We have been looking at an 05.5 6sp. Who knows. They are a little overwhelming with all the buttons and would take some getting used to.

I have some more pics on my digital camera at home that show greater detail. It did hold up very well. I guess I'll have some aftermarker parts for sale now. Aaron- We are looking at an A4 (see other thread). I test drove it and liked it but am unsure because I'm very unfamiliar with them and don't know anyone that has one.

Not 159. It's CR 28 in Knox Co. (Morgan Center Rd.) Trees would have sucked. I probably wouldn't be at work today talking on the forums.

Well at least that isn't as bad as Thorne's PM for salvage parts. Dr. Rick at least said he was glad I was ok.

It wasn't a rollover. I just ran backwards in a deep ditch for a short distance before landing in the cornfield. I got out the passenger side door and looked at the car and thought it wasn't too bad, but then I walked over to the driverside..ouch. I did hit the deer but the damn thing got up and walked off (probably not far though). When I hit the deer the back end got loose and it was just hold on from there. I tried everything I could to get it back under control but it wasn't happening. I feel like such an awful driver right about now. At least I didn't get a ticket too. Ben- I saw that ad..very sweet but not looking good for me to get another. My hubby hated the sti and he has to sign for the loan.

I've had a rough week to say the least. On Monday morning after dropping off my kids I hit a deer on the way home and went into the ditch about a mile from my home. The car is totaled. Thankfully I wasn't injured. I probably won't be getting another Subaru this time around since my husband didn't care for the car.
