I thought so also. I know there are many cars below 11's, but the real question is how well do they do on the street? I think the Civic will run better on the street. He always has such traction problems at the tracks even with slicks.
All the $$ goes into the Civic mostly. I do have exhaust and intake on my car. There may be a few more mods for me in the works eventually. The STi is just the family car though. Just when I think he's done with the Civic, a few more parts show up via UPS, etc.
I like to think I'm a nice lady I talk about my husband's car because we have worked hard to accomplish what is done with it and I'm proud of that. My car is nothing special really, not really that fast. I think his car is impressive although it's nothing special to look at. Guess we'll have to work on that next. We are sure going to try to get out more this year. I would like to put faces to names and see some awesome cars. It's difficult for us to get out alot due to his work schedule and we have a little girl who is 2. We typically try not to take her with us when there is a possibility of a street race although she has inherited her parents need for speed.
My husband's FWD is pretty quick, not sure how he would rate against Linn, Cavin, etc. Maybe this summer he will be able to get to Columbus sometime when he has some vacation time.
I play games on pogo a lot. There are many different types of games so she could try one for awhile and then another. If she likes Euchre, I could use a good partner..lol
When we were looking into buying, we liked the Legacy GT but ended up buying the STi. The Legacy is a little less $$ and would probably suit your needs good, plus insurance would probably be a little cheaper than the STi.
Just a thought.
This post sounds exactly like my husband. I always think he's done buying parts and then more arrive at our house!
My name is Amanda and I'm married to a gearhead.
He's lucky that I'm a bit of a gearhead myself.
My 8100 is dying slowly and I'm about 6 months out from my new every 2. I don't think it will make it 6 months. Would you be willing to sell just the phone? I don't need any of the extras.
He said people sometimes say they feel sorry for him because of his descent. He told the audience we shouldn't feel sorry for him because he owns 9 bikes including the 3 on stage which cost $150,000.00 or more each.
At several points he got to laughing so hard at himself he was almost in tears. It was hilarious! I thought I was going to lose it when Carlos and Brad did the oompa loompa dance and actually knew all the steps and words to the song.
We went to the 10pm show. It lasted 3 hours! We had great seats 4th row center. I've haven't laughed that hard in a long time! I even got my picture taken with Carlos.
Just throwing it out there for you, wasn't sure how far it was for you exactly. The industrial park it's located in is right of 70 in Buckeye Lake. It may pay more than 10, not sure.
