Read what I said... I said we all wanted that guy thrown out right then. As far as taking any kind of action, the cop told us only the Vette owner could do something by pressing charges. I kind of agree with your second statement but some are beginning to see that good cars were made after the early 70's. It has been getting better ...but some will probably never change.

The cars did get keyed. I was told it was a twin turbo by another GTO owner that said he talked to the driver. Claimed he was told it did had done a 140 ET. May be BS may be not I really couldn't say. And like I said we never got a chance to look at the car before the shit happened. All I know is that it had a pretty lound lope, must have a pretty good size cam. I was also there but didn't see the guy that did the pissing, because I wasn't really paying too much attention until the cop rolled up because I figured that it was just a group from here.

We all agreed that the classic owner get tossed out of the GTOAA for what he did. We liked the Z06, wanted to see what was under the hood. ...but some guys just didn't show the cop much respect. ...and the offical party had ended...there were just small groups still sitting outside drinking. Maybe the front cones blocking the way back to the cars were down from letting the entertainment out...that's where they had been set up. Most of these classic owners are 50+. They have a hard enough time accepting the new GTO owners let alone a bunch of non-GTOs rolling through the display cars. It really wasn't the place to be. and...so you think coming back and randomly keying two classic cars is ok?

A bunch of cars from QS&L decieded to crash the GTOAA nats parking lot party about 11:45 and tried to call out a GTO. Nobody took these morons up on it. The bottom line is one of the classic car owners pissed on the back of one of these guys yellow twin turbo Z06. They then called in thier punk ass friends and the cops had to run them all. They tried to tell the cops they were there to look at the cars...at night in a unlit parking lot. LOL. To top it of they were crusing in the display area of the parking lot that had been blocked off except for display cars. They got tossed...but two classic GTOs...one a Judge got keyed sometime later last night. I'm guessing some of those guys post here or someone knows them.

I doubt that it will ever go state wide. We've had e-check up here for a long time and little by little it's been being eliminated as areas in the state have passed EPA air quality standards. As far as what they do is if you have a ODBII port they only hook up to it and take readings. If not then they use a sniffer. They also use mirrors to check to see if you have cats.

Just bumping this up to the top. The main car show is this Saturday (6/30).

I'm not sure any of the CR GTOs are registered or even attending as spectators any day although with 300 GTOs registered for the week (about 250 classic) I would think some people here would want to go check out the car shows.

Because it's a marketing thing that's put on by Pontiac Performance. Same thing July 1 up at Summit Racing Motorsports Park. It's not a race day for us it's VIP access and lots of free food. LOL And by the way we did go on the track.

Going tomorrow with several GTOs from here. We have VIP passes from Pontiac. In total 50 GTOs will be there mostly from all over Ohio and some from surrounding states.

Got the link to this video in an email from my brother. It basically shows where the current levels of immigration is leading us and our children. The guy that sent this to my brother said both the Republican and Democrats have spoken out against this message although they haven't exactly denied it. I guess thats being politically correct but leaving the door open to step through it if you need to....typical for politicians Take a look for yourself. GTOAA Nationals are in Columbus from June 26 -June 30. On June 28th the GTOs will be at National Trails for Auto-Cross from 1:00 to 4:00 and Dragracing from 4:00 until finish. That's totaly wrong on how insurance companys calculate insurance rates. Each has it's own shall we say formula as to what factors do or don't dertermine risk. When the state of Ohio recently changed the laws for 16 year old drivers it was reported in the paper that at least two major insurers immediately lowered there costs to reflect this new law. ...some probably did not. Also the number of claims nation wide has been on the decline...this may or may not have been used by an insurer to reduce rates. ...you just can't say that a lower rate infers cutting quality somewhere. A lower rate may also mean that you are in a low risk segment of the population. Lower quotes across the board all depends on what an insurances companies corporate objectives are at the time. Geico's advertised lower rates were IMO an obvious attempt to increase market share...that worked. Now their's aren't as low but they have created a reputation that they are.

Progressive is currently putting a lot of changes in place to improve it's customer service and improve it's rates. Can't really say too much on this though since I work there. What I can say look at the new services that they recently started offering like their new repair service centers. If you choose to use a service center, you drop off your car sign the paperwork and drive away in a rental from Enterprise. If you total your car, Progressive has another new service that will help you search for a replacement and help get any financing that is required. These and more new services that are coming are all to help take the sting out of having been in an accident. These new programs are going to be a lot more then just sending out an adjuster and issuing a check.

The only catch...you MUST be registered for the GTOAA Nationals in Columbus June 26 - 30 ! I got 2 free tickets to this too, that I'll use on July 1 afer I drive up From GTOAA Nationals. Pontiac sure has some luv for the GTO
