  2. If it's your first gun and you want to carry go with a 9mm. I have a sub compact 9 and I wouldn't want anything larger. You can shoot 50 rounds for 12 dollars a box, you'll spend 20 a box for a .40 or .45.

If I were to choose between a .40 and a .45, I'd go .45 just because of the recoil and snap mentioned in a few posts above. A single stack compact .45 is more than enough for a carry.

  3. I went and had mine made today in Reynoldsburg at Survival Tactics. Took about 4 hours from the time I dropped off my gun until I went to pick it back up.

Holster fits very snug and is made very well. My gun snaps right in and out of it very easily. I can hardly tell I have the thing on. I'll try and get a pic up today. 65$ is all I spent.

  4. I'm not an expert and someone else will pipe up here in a moment, but try pulling the battery and leaving it out for a minute, then try to restart it. Its worth a shot.

Normally if a battery pull doesn't fix the problem then it's something that will require it being sent in.

  5. I've been talking about building a zombie attack pack for a little bit now. Everything I need stored in a pack I can take with me that has everything I need ready to go.

    - Gun and Ammo

    - Knife

    - Water Jug and a large can to cook in

    - MRE

    - Lighters/ matches

    - Seasonal Clothes

    - Flashlight

    - Rope

Those are just a few things I think I'd absolutely need to have sitting if I were forced to get up and go on the spot. The one thing I know I'm missing is a rifle.

This is the one I went to, great class and reasonable pricing.

I'm signed up for this class then. Hopefully I can learn some more info while I'm there! I'm super excited.

  7. Haven't tested out the sound quality yet. I've had this about 12 hours and I don't even have 1/6 of my library in google. It takes a really really long time to get your library into their servers and only allow a max of 20k songs.

I'm thinking memory cards full of music is a better solution so far.

I'm interested in the sound quality it will have. I definitely have to wait until my music is all the way loaded to give this a spin.

  8. nice :) now just make sure you put 5-600 rounds threw it before you carry it.

how did they compare and at what range was your target?

The target was at 15', however please keep in mind this was my first time ever shooting any sort of gun that didn't shoot paint.

I like my gun a little more for me as I'll be using it to practice my skills and carry. The PF9 hurt my hand quite a bit more than my CW9. My CW9 is definitely weighted better which I think I like a lot more.

Very happy with my purchase so far. I just need to go get more range time.

  9. On the Iphone if you pay for tethering you are limited to your 2gb of data. I know AT&T will make you drop to 2gb of data from unlimited if you get the tether feature (Yes, even if you're grandfathered in).

If you jailbreak you can DL the app to tether and keep your unlimited data package.

On T-Mobile I don't know how this works exactly, but I'm sure you still have a data limit on your "unlimited" plan.

  10. Got myself a birthday present today.

Kahr CW9 which I'll use as a CCW when I get it. Got some time in at the range and got to shoot a pf9 as well for comparison.

  11. Myspace used to be king. I just read that Myspace was just bought from News Corp for $35 million, in 2005 News Corp bought MySpace for $580 million :fuuuu:

Bahahaha, xanga used to be king before Myspace. Myspace wasn't anything. Look at Facebook at it's early life and Myspace at it's peak. It's not a comparison.

Facebook is and will be the tool for social networking. It's so widely used by the public and media that replacing it with something else at this point is not even possible.

  12. Early termination with Verizon and AT&T should be the same too. $365-$10 for every full bill cycle on smartphones and 160-4 every month on standard/ quick messaging phones.
  13. You'll get your early termination fee on your final bill if you go to Verizon and have your number brought over. You won't even have to speak to AT&T.

I'd stay with AT&T unless you don't have unlimited data with them now. They are picking up 33% more coverage from T-Mobile within the year or early next.

  14. I broke my nose swimming. Lots of pressure in my head after my face hit that wall.

A day after laying down my bike the second time I felt like a mummy. The little bits of road rash I had hurt but nothing too bad.

I'm just glad I'm not going to be pushing a kid out of me in my lifetime, I'll take any other pain that's given to me in equal trade and be happy about it.
