my 06 with a slip on went 9.35@150 with a light rider and beat up on a few Busa last year . So I know what a 1000 can do . I also know what its limits are

Seeing that my bike is down and the motor is at the builder , I can't lock in shit . But if your serious , there a quite a few guy who would have no problem running your 1000 for any amount . Let me know what you wanna do and I will set it up .

yeah ,mine does not get super hot . I just notice the heat when I walk by it , didnt know if it was abnormal or not .

I have a LG 50" plasma , no buzz noise but it puts out some heat .

Real justice is she should be put in a hot box for 8 hours . I have 3 kids it would kill me to think my kid suffered for that long .

Can't wait till the new 08 Busa hit the floor , Ill have one . BTW . The Busa was my first bike .

Sounds like a bent shift shaft and/or a bad shift fork . Its a very common problem with the Hayabusa and pretty much any Suzuki . The only way to fix is pulling the motor and putting in new shift shafts and shift forks . To prevent it from ever happening again you will need to get second gear back cut on the transmission . Considering the bike and the cost to have someone pull the motor and do the work plus the parts . Its probably cheaper to buy a good used motor or just live with it .
