  1. double i'm guessing that i'll recoup the money in wisconsin a lot faster, since its so damn cold up there, and my house will probably be big enough that the savings will be huge. i will also have a fairly large heated garage/shop
  2. i'm in tampa right now, in the miserable heat/humidity. i can't go outside for 5 minutes without sweating through whatever i'm wearing. i knew it was going to be like this, so i'm not complaining--just stating that i wouldn't want to live here permanently. nobody goes outside their house at all--i'm used to hanging out outside and seeing my neighbors. my car also runs like absolute shit in this heat/humidity
  3. that would be funny. further down in the thread, the original poster found out the motors were acutally bought for around $400k, and not $800k. i can't believe they were all going carb'd. i guess they now have 30 extra intakes and clutches (mentioned in the thread)
  4. yeah, it is WEIRD, clearly having money is not always a sign of intelligence

  6. when i build my house in wisconsin--this is the route i'm going. the savings in the long run are tremendous--most of the people there are doing this.

    Noob here.

and you're interested in this site because?? please post pics of your cars, i need the laugh.
  10. damn. i must be the last person with the cheese on their GT
  11. well, you certainly didn't come off that way in the beginning of this thread. 90% of the people on this forum work their asses off for what they have. some get help from mommy and daddy, but the majority of people on this forum have no tolerance for people who: 1) get everything from mommy and daddy 2) have money fall into their lap without working for it 3) flaunt their nice shit all over the place (and talk down to people) no matter how hard they've worked for it avoid those three things, and you'll definitely make some friends on this forum, and avoid some jealous asshole fucker keying your car at sonic while your back is turned. that's a major reason i tried to avoid running my mouth about my cars when i was in columbus.
  12. best advice given in this thread. i can't tell you how many idiots i've taken care of in the last 5 years who have shot themselves (or unfortunately someone else) while cleaning a gun, or horsing around with a gun they assumed was not loaded. it happens VERY often, and i only see the unlucky ones.
  13. you won't see me, i'm working on a project in tampa--and i'm staying at my beach house. my 10 month old twins love the pool/rec center in our gated community-- see, i'm pretty important too-and i love attention.
  14. just tell me you still have the cheese graters on the back of the '93, and we're all good http://img164.imageshack.us/img164/7881/s3500004yj2.jpg
  15. +1 this is not the way to make an intro on this site. people here couldn't honestly give two shits about your trips to the bahamas and your grande latte enema you received this morning. now if you talked about all the guns you own, or made a post of that nature, you could start generating some jealousy from members on this site---people here don't like/envy yuppies--seriously, they don't
  16. just checked, its actually $700 http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/iwwida.pvx?;item?item_no=LRS-6009E%20%20%20%20%20%201&comp=LRS
  17. late model mustang restoration---they have a 5 page add at the beginning of every MM&FF magazine sells budget short blocks (i'm assuming hyperutectic, and stock cam) for $600---yep, $600 for a new shortblock 302
  18. nice looking goat, welcome.
  19. from the way you run your mouth, it sure sounded like you paid $100k for it---at least that's what you want everyone to believe. you should have made the disclaimer that you bought a "cookie cutter" vette at a discount price because you really couldn't afford/weren't important enough to get a ZR1---that would have been a more accurate introduction. a more modest introduction would have gotten praise from me, and congratulations on owning a nice car--no hate--but you ruined it.
  20. the sign outside your shop looks like it says "30 yrs. wait"
  21. 37 year old douchebag talking about how much money he makes. there are people on this site with wallets that would smush you-- not everyone feels the need to buy a $100k penis extension, you unoriginal douche--you should have bought a ZR1--
