  1. Nice. I want to see that thing on some little stock wheels...what a sleeper!
  2. 400 to 600 is a deal. A one way trailer and gas is probably that.
  3. Blangy-stang > weird JDMs. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.
  4. Looks all good to me. I still cant comprehend what actually happened. In for before pic.
  5. x2. Technically the area between the wall and brick is "open" but there should be weeps to let air and water out before it gets down that far...granted if water is getting further behind, in the wall cavity then the weeps will do nothing as looks to be the case. Id take a hard look at the flashing above the window, and at the sill. If its been going on long you will have a lot more work ahead of you.
  6. thats because they are not there lol
  7. :lolguy: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/pilot-limited-emblem-with-shield-ip-3032/10079305-P
  8. I always used that 1/2" thick industrial floor mat stuff with all the holes in it...Still going strong at my parents place and its been at least 10 years lol
  9. Very cool. After watching numerous episodes where the Roadkill guys slap these and other similar EFI setups on nearly everything I am amazed how easy this tuning stuff can be.
  10. Is that an original color? Doesnt seem to be (maybe lighting)...but yeah new wheels will go a long way http://www.slickstang.com/Photos/1970/1970_mustang_coupe_grande_gold_001.jpg

  12. That is interesting stuff. I dont really have any need for rinseless washing in the warmer months and I am typically dealing with dirt and mud on the FJ anyway. Still might try it out as a wash additive or to help with drying as you noted. Extra gloss is always nice!
  13. Have you watched any of the AMMO detailing vids on Youtube? Pretty good stuff. I tried the 'wet' drying method last week...has changed my life. See, AMMO sells this like $30 stuff you use when you dry your car. Now I am sure that works wonders...but I am not going to order it. I have always enjoyed using the Wax-as-you-dry stuff as I like the lubrication and upkeep it does on my wax job. Turns out the key is to use a clean microfiber and completely wet it. Wring it out and then I hit it with a squirt or two of the wax....it effortlessly glides across the paint and dries better than a chamois. I cannot believe how much water a damp 12 x12 or 16x16 microfiber holds. Really amazing, and I hate that I didnt figure that out YEARS ago.
  14. Im sure there is ....I mean they did this for similar reasons I though http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/06/superformancecoupefdlead17.jpg
  15. You could try and offset some of the wheel weight by getting lighter wheels. SCS makes pretty darned light Toyota specific offerings, but that money spent wont be worth it to offset any fuel costs...just might get you some more miles per tank and make the truck look better. OEM Toyota wheels are all around 30# each...and the SCS ones can be in the teens I think.
  16. There are Facebook sites for it. Like this one is "Clintonville for Rent"...I think its private though until you ask to join. Maybe search out whatever area you are looking at. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1435476746719985/...here is one example posted, even though it isnt Clintonville. . http://www.flexmls.com/cgi-bin/mainmenu.cgi?cmd=url+other/run_public_link.html&public_link_tech_id=17uolq87heoj&s=17&id=1&cid=1 We found ours by driving around...just got lucky. I had reluctantly called the number thinking there was no way we could live on the street we are, but the price was ok. You gotta find them before they put them on Craigslist.
  17. Any wheel wax will really go a long way to help...but you are still going to get dust... If they are always getting really bad, look into new brake pads. Also, once having to live in an apartment, they sell battery operated 'power washers' which are not that powerful but work quite well in a parking lot. I used to use a Nomad 18V one. Held 3.5 gallons and then I would actually use one or two gallons of distilled water to rinse with. I could take my time, and not have to rush my washes based on the timer at the DIY wash. Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Ivation-Multipurpose-Portable-Spray-Washer/dp/B00R0GBKR4
  18. I agree 14 is pretty decent. Now one thing that kills mileage on the v6s ( I know you said v8) is an old/sticking thermostat. If you have a lot of miles it might be worth looking into. They get weak and dont build proper pressure thus the engine wont heat up to optimum temp and then the computer compensates by dumping fuel. Also clean the MAF....especially if that new filter is oiled.
  19. WOW. I really got sucked into just looking at that site. So much ricer beat-to-shit junk. I am amazed. And nothing is for sale lol....all trades...Is that what kiddos do these days? Just trade shit all over? I do want that FJ60 though...odds are its hacked together like the rest...
  20. For a (reasonably) cheap all electric, it looks better than I thought they would. I still think they are going to go under....wonder when?
  21. Just made me cringe the whole time.
  22. ^^^that is the least rapey camper van I have probably ever seen.
