  1. That is a good idea. You are not going to get any ram air enough to make much difference with those beastly turbos anyway I bet.
  2. Ok I eat what I said earlier. Dayum the specs are hot even if the nose isnt. Front plate might actually help.
  3. That is just the wrong side of 71. Stay West of 71. It doesnt get better really until you get all the way past Sunbury to the East.
  4. Meh. Hyudai rear, BMW side profile, and some disgusting front lol
  5. They probably make some cheapo H&R springs for those no? I ran them on a Mini a while back and was quite happy with the ride for the price.
  6. 4Runners are great, but with the utility you want, you may look into 4-door Tacomas. They can tow much better than a 4Runner too. Problem is they are $$$$
  7. You are talking cars, not trucks right? I think there is somewhat of a difference in the execution of the two. But yes, I think that is how they do it for slicks. For trucks they sandwich the bead with a bolt-on ring. Not sure if that is an option for cars? I would think so. Now we can let the people who know what the heck they are talking about chime in
  8. Also this are is huge...Pretty much from Hudson all the way up to Worthington. There are still plenty of parts that could suck depending on traffic, proximity to 71 and what is across the tracks... Lots of people love to love it and many love to hate it. North side can be nice too. I lived in a nice apt up in Worthington a while. Downside is traffic. Everyone will be going downtown right along with you in the morning. At least there are multiple choices for your route...71,315,23,33,ect
  9. x2. They do get terrible mileage. Probably liveable so long as you dont modify it as they come with little pizza cutter road tires. The 10+ really have a lot going in all aspects...great looks, comfort, and options....but as you have probably seen, you are going to pay. They dont seem to come cheap. Resale is another great perk. Will hardly drop in price if you take care of it. You will really feel like you are getting your moneys worth if you ever do sell.
  10. There is this "Clintonville for Rent" Facebook group. I am not a member, but it might be a nice resource https://www.facebook.com/groups/1435476746719985/ Our house has seen a few better days (or decades) but it is quiet, we love just hanging on our front porch, and we have a yard and got lucky with a concrete block 2-car garage with opener for 995/mo. Cool younger neighbors all over too. Sure there are ten granola crunching, Prius driving, hippies for every one 'normal' family, but thats no problem.
  11. If you are working at the Deaf School just look up around here. We got lucky and found a house to rent in Clintonville. The atmosphere around here is pretty cool. Just get a place as close to work as you can. Makes life nicer. I dont feel "crowded" at all. Quite the contrary. This are feels like a neighborly "Small town USA" feel, unlike ANY suburbia (Canal / Dublin / Westerville /Ect) where you are stuck on the ONE main drag behind everyone going to the Panera, Starbucks, Ect. Downtown you can just zip up High or Indianola, or jump to 71 and you are gone. Still going to run you at least a G per month for a whole house....but that is pretty typical if it isnt in the hood I guess.
  12. I guess that would explain the badge missing too!
  13. First car is an Austin Healey Sebring. Odd the emblem is MIA. Similar to the 3000 others are posting, but has the flared fenders, ect. http://www.bobsclassics.com/67as13.jpg
  14. Im confused on where these Uhaul prices are coming from. You can rent a 5x8 for 3 days for less than $60. Just have to drag the thing out there and then back. Pretty sure a bike will fit in a 5x8...and that is enclosed. The open ones are cheaper.

  16. They're probably all just Asian OSU students, no?
  17. ^^^yup. Same if you are not using a proper torque wrench to get the lugs even
  18. 300K is very impressive on such a high end sports car....BUT he has replaced a LOT...and spent a lot to do so.
  19. Either way a 0% card for 15-18 months...hell, 12 if you must...is better than any title loan. Pay it off as quickly as you can and pay no interest at all. We have a little debt currently on a 18 month ride with AMEX. The 3% or whatever it is fee is very worth no interest on most balances
  20. It is that nobody should boil it in an attempt to reduce nitrates as it will make it increase. You can still boil it if you are making soup or whatever...so long as you are not less than 6mo. or breastfeeding! Basically...everyone can go about their normal water usage. Wonder if it is better for my plants now?
  21. If you havent, start watching every episode of Roadkill on YouTube...you'll get a lot of inspiration.
