  1. You know the speculation is enough to damage the business. I have customers that will not buy a Saab, because they think they cannot get parts because GM is filing BK. Seriously, some of these people want to sit and talk about this mess being Socialism. Great, you think you have educated yourself on politics, but you need to get a clue. Yeah ok before I get off topic. Who really wants to see GM fail?
  2. 17/20 I still think we are in good shape. Sorry to bring the average back down, poorly worded.
  3. I would have to go with the Sonata off of that list. We have a couple of nicely equipped '08s here with low miles, and they are in the 13k range. I know that is above the limit they are looking for, but you should be able to find some 06-07 lower mileage units around 10k. Lots of safety features and very reliable.
  4. Hope he is ok, keep us posted.
  5. Quite a few people summed up my reason. Car Community! Just a common place for people with common interests. Oh and by common I mean like. As for the drama, well it is in every part of life. Work drama, family drama, etc. I thought we were all car guys/girls here?
  6. Looking for interior panels for the rear hatch area for 87-93 Mustang. I do not care about color. Let me know. Thanks.
  7. I have one in my garage that is missing a couple of the bolts in the top cover, but appears to be in good shape inside. Came out of a 92 LX 5.0. $200.00
  8. Yeah, I'm in on a hoodie. Thanks again for your time the other day Rob. Since I spend every waking hour at work you will see my Stang soon which will give you a chance to put some stickers on it. I love stick-on horsepower, so much easier than bolt-ons.
  9. Yeah, I like that idea. At our dealership people started stealing the spares off of Libertys, Wranglers, and even a bald tire steel wheel on the back of a beat up trade in. I have thought about staying down here one night. Some people will steal whatever, that sucks man.
  10. Looking for a set of 42lb. injectors or larger and a calibrated mass air flow sensor for my 86 GT.
  11. Depending on the trimlevel of the XUV The value is anywhere from 4-8k that is wholesale. Just looked it up in the blackbook, and that includes mileage deduction. Keep in mind that doesnt mean you would make money on top of that 4-8k. Just thought I would throw those values at you, and yes the Envoy/Trailblazers are the worst midsize SUV for gas mileage.
  12. Well the real problem is truly logistics, let me explain....Since I am sure they are such a bargain, we would have to get two. One for the westside for the customers that live there, then one for the eastside, people from north and south would just have to drive. Since they do not seem to have a matching pair, I am putting my money back in my pocket.
  13. Honestly I wouldn't trust it, I have some experience with the Kymco brand. I will tell you when they run, they run good, and the quad we had didn't feel alot different than any others I have been on. They seem to be plagued with electrical issues like most of the other Chinese ATV's and scooters. Yeah and getting some parts is well difficult. I have only had luck ordering factory direct. Which took forever.
  14. Rob, I use the car to hold the floor in my garage down. Damn concrete is always floating away. I do not drive it much. I will use it for a couple SCCA fun events. I bought the intake, but cannot seem to find any Z06 factory exhaust, which was the route I was going.
  15. Ok, now I will agree with you on the fact that they are passive forms, however two things; 1. They are not undeniable proof, just the same as credit cards are not. i.e. someone else is driving your car, or using your card, there has to be visual evidence. 2. Whatever happened to catching someone in the act? Is that not what the police tell you when your shit gets stolen? Ok so they are going to put a device on a car and build a case based off of the info on the device, but no visual evidence. I don't know about that. 2. I do not know about saving the taxpayer money, maybe...However the officers are still going to be on duty, maybe just able to cover other things. Not trying to pose an arguement, just pointing out the opinion of one moron taxpayer. I'll also agree they do help keep honest people honest. I do not see how they take any liberties either. I just think the line has to be drawn somewhere.
  16. Yeah good price. I just came across one wholesale from a dealer I work with, and it was 15,5 with 86k. Beat to hell. Oh good the oil issue has been covered. Car looks nice.
  17. The car is nice. As for coming to our senses and buying notches, I would agree. Oh wait I refused to take out a mortgage to buy a decent notch, even though I wanted one really bad. All I found that were decent were autos. Good looking car, but it does need Vanilla Ice's wing!
  18. You are correct, however I still have customers that come in asking if we ever get Azteks in. Are you serious people?
  19. I have also used Leaders, decent rates, and knowing the rate beforehand is helpful.
  20. Too many of these people end up going through crap like this. Guy fights for his country, comes back messed up, only to fight an even bigger war. My thought is; But for the grace of God it could be any one of us. Think about when and where you were born, and the support you have had through your life... I used to work out there, and believe I know who you are talking about. Too damn bad. Hopefully karma catches up with them.
  21. After reading that story I can only assume you would have charges brought against you for destroying police property. This is scary, because once again it only shows who has control, and that police really are above the law. Could I go and put a GPS on someone else's car? No, and if I found one on my car would throwing it out be damaging someone else's property? I don't know, I guess there are too many holes here left up to an officer's and/or a department's discretion???
  22. +1 Speed Triple rules, wish I would have bought one of those instead of my ultra f-ing slow noisy VTX
  23. I thought that was what the post was going to be about too. Although consider the trouble one might get into trying to photograph bunnies on campus?
