  1. I will gladly put up my old Hyundai against a Honda. My Sonata had 205k on it when I sold it three years ago, and the guy is still driving it with only minor repairs. Good maintenance from new can make most cars last. Do not misunderstand the next statement. Honda=overhyped. Do they make good cars? Hell yes they do. Are they without fault? According to most customers they are perfect.... Then why do Honda dealers have service departments? Disclaimer: This was not at all Honda bashing, just a statement that alot of cars can be reliable with the right servicing/maintenance.
  2. I have several 07 and 08 Sonatas on the lot, and I agree. The suspension is a bit on the soft side, but then again it handles better than a Camry, in my opinion. I agree, they have come a long way, well appointed, well priced, overall great family sedan.
  3. Not true Rob, my car runs 8's just because it is in your shop!
  4. I had a customer tell me the other day that he had it done. I know with Ford you could get the Oasis reports. I forget what GM calls it.
  5. 24 NCIS Southland The Beast Knight Rider Probably a couple movies
  6. Bronze! Looks great on the white car!
  7. Did I miss it? Where is it? I want to see the transparent hood panel..... Damn it! +1 on grafting Vette interior features.

    Hummer?

Yeah I like that idea! Oh and why not Chinese Hummer products? I think our government is owned by the Chinese already....
  9. Sucks. I used to use Achbach in Westerville, Glassburn's isn't bad. I also have a guy in Harrisburg, South of Grove City. Carr's Custom Finishes, he has done great work on my Camaro. He works on all kiinds of custom and classic cars. Let me know if you want his number.
  10. That was not a Z06. That was a Prius with a Z06 body kit! Couldn't you tell it had better aerodynamics!
  11. Yeah, and I wouldn't even take a smoke break on that job, then again....
  12. Yeah, exactly what he said. The chance of the ones taking it slow are few and far between, but very possible. As for paying for shit, well I just don't care. I will pay for the third date, but after that it isn't free anymore.
  13. Love that road. Great for the bike, great for the Vette. Thanks for reminding me, it has been a while.
  14. What on earth would make you think they fixed it? People still keep buying them, so no real need to fix them. Kind of like Ford's 3.8 head gasket problems that went on a span of 8 billion years. GM is failing because of misuse of funds, well partially. When I say that I mean they didn't trim expenses when they should have, and when the times got rough, well I think they were in shock because they continued to do nothing. Once again this is an opinionated statement.
  15. You may want to hold onto those hoses for a minute, they might come in handy on my car, which will be there soon. Don't know?
  16. You want stricter laws on street racing? Really, that will sure help. Look people are going to do what people are going to do, that is that! You are right the victims are innocents most of the time. I am one of those that would rather take it to the track then be stuck in jail. Harsher penalties? Please! In some places the penalty for murder is the death sentence. Good thing noone kills anymore. This will not stop it. Thanks for the link Rob. Good info there.
  17. Why not get into the used car business, the Government has been stealing from us for a long time. First our money, now our cars. Honestly I agree something needed to be done, but whatever happened to penalties based on circumstance? I could see that kind of penalty for an incident where an injury occurs, but for a couple of guys just out messing around on a back road? This is way too broad.
  18. I'm in. Might have been undecided, then you had to put up pics of the food.
  19. GAY is what your current cars are! Except the Stang.....Truly BAD ASS!
  20. Yeah he would more than likely raise the price if I suggested that.
  21. Thanks Tyler, I saw those right after my dad took his off of his car, worst part is my dad is charging me more, but I know where they came from.
  22. OK well first things first, I bought the tall Motorsport aluminum valve covers, and I am going to use them on this car, so my intake options are limited. I have had these through two builds and could never use them, hence why I am looking the BBK SSI series intake. Secondly I am not sure on power, maybe 450? Not really my concern, I want to achieve a well balanced car, and tweak it from there. I can get a lightly used set of Canfields for a good deal, or hold off as planned for the Trickflow and do the whole project this winter. Thanks for the advice guys.
  23. Looking at heads for my car, Canfield 2.02/1.60 heads I believe 61cc combustion chamber, or the same specs other than 64cc combustion chamber in a Twisted Wedge head? The car 86 GT 306 currently with B cam, which will change. Intake has not been decided, possibly BBK SSI or SSIR. 10lb Powerdyne BD11A. Just not sure which way to go? Major concern is the combustion chamber size, I am not sure what pistons are in my car. They told me stock style, but who knows.
  24. That is correct, it doesn't matter what I am doing my customers will stand over my shoulder and critique what I am doing. I never mind someone observing for a few minutes, as long as it is a few minutes, but no for a freaking hour. After all it is their car.
  25. I agree. Plus there has always been that gray area, you know a few MPH over the limit doesn't hurt, well the limit goes up, so does that gray area.
