Not what I was expecting. Yet completely what I should have been.

My boss just grabbed one from Aarons in hilliard today, 179.99. Case is decent enough. Supposedly they had 29 more.

I've had 3 online orders cancelled now, and received one unit. The problem is by the time any of us would post its availability here, it would probably already be sold out. It's like a mixture of luck and persistence. One of the sites that cancelled 2 of my orders said they had something along the lines of 10,000 orders in a matter of minutes. If she really wants one, I've seen the craigslist tablets available for 200ish. Also some Aarons have them like JR said, but you'll pay 179+tax, but you get a portfolio case. Considering what these units cost 2 weeks ago, neither is a terrible price, just not as nice as $99. Also I'm not a dirty reseller, just figured for $99 bucks, they'd make killer gifts for the wife or parents. So far, I've "gifted" one to me. Oh, AND CONGRATZ!

Not that we wouldn't likely win, but we don't need a war on that scale. Unifying a billion and a half people is a bad idea, so invasion would be a no no. With our military power, plus 200 million civilian firearms, invading here is also, a poor idea. That pretty much leaves just bombs and other WMDs. So cold war, old-time style. I don't hate China, I have a ton of relatives there. I do hate their pseudo-commie government, and so do a lot of the people. I hate our government too right now though, so that may not mean much.

Cool cool, I've heard the nose to the charging handle thing from buddies in the service. Also, I already tend to keep my elbows in while shooting as I feel more stabilized. 1:9, figure that's fine for the ammo I'll be shooting. I also thought it was decent for the cash, thanks for the tip on the VFG, duly noted. I moved it back cause it just seems way more comfortable to hold, as I tend to want to grab the magwell. I may get the grip for that, and move the VFG forward, and have both options .

Even though I've shot a few ARs I never did get around to purchasing one. Till I strolled on into Vances recently, and then strolled on back out with one. I had planned on building my own AR(even bought a stripped lower), and I still plan to do so, albeit part by part very slowly, but in the meantime I wanted to be able to shoot. I figured basic, and functional would be in order since I could always add on, or go tacti-cool on the next one. Found this Bushmaster M4-style MOE on sale, came with all magpul MOE furniture and foregrip, and a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot, that actually got serviceable reviews.
