Well if you want a nitro 1/8 I can hook you up with a mugen. I have engines, sevos, starter box ect. I have so many cars now I think I need to part with at least one.

I have a Mugen mbx6 I've been thinking of selling. Its pretty much the best you can get Are you planning on racing?

Get an e-revo brushless. I have one and it will out right destroy any nitro monster truck.

The dagwood challenge is insane. I'd bet nobody can even come close to getting it down. I'm a fairly large guy and half the sadwich alone would fill me up. Add to that the other half of the sandwich and the "plate of fries" is a fucking full size dinner plate with a huge mound of fries, thats the real deal breaker...

They are more of a grocery than a wal-mart type store. Think mini Kroger marketplace. I also like this store. I'm from the Youngstown area and my mom shopped there all the time. Great deals indeed, I picked up a 12X12 EZ-up canopy for like 30 bucks there last summer. Then quickly returned one I had bought at Dicks sporting goods for over 100 a few days prior.

If looks don't bother you (and if you can get to it), putting heavy plastic up around the window on the outside will help much more with keeping out cold air then putting the thin stuff on the inside. Doing both is the best way to go though, I've fought this fight with old apartment windows for years...

I'd say go with a FWD honda, nissan, dsm. They are generally lighter and cheaper. The drivetrain loss of being FWD will help a bit and should be fine as a "roll" car also most can be made pretty powerfull for cheap. A honda hatch with a B18/turbo, Nissan sentra or other fwd sr20 car, and the 4g63 cars. When you are on a budget it is really more about the money you save doing as much of the work and fabrication yourself than buying the parts to get the car built.

What size is the engine with the bore kit? It's really faster than your 450? I find that hard to believe.

The local club track we have in hilliard is much smaller, but still very fun.

I like the guys up at hurricane, but for racing parts Grandview hobbies is where to go. BTW Racing r/c cars is way more involved than just bsing around your front yard. If you have any interest in the hobby I urge you to come by the track in Hilliard and see for yourself.

For about 300 (maybe 200 on gently used stuff) you can get into a really nice stock sct class setup. The class it great for beginers, its a gateway drug.

Well those where the easy fixes. If you turn the key off and try to just power on the Acc and not fully start the car (turn the key to the first position) what happens?

Bad batt. is my guess, or maybe just the ground. Could also be the alternator if it isn't charging the battery enough. Start there and let me know if you come up with anything. I had a heavily modified spec V and have seen almost every issue the car could have.
