  3. Ohio State has accepted a walk-on addition for the 2013 class in the form of WR Joe Ramstetter out of Cincinnati Elder — Joshua Blankenship (@GeneStarwind419) June 20, 2013
  4. Track is ready to go, weather is looking decent minus the heat. Who all is going and are you racing, showing, drifting or spectating?
  5. They had a big oil spill at the end of the track, cleaned it up and damn near everyone of us sport compacts picked up .4 on our ET's. Made for an interesting night of guessing dial in times. I went low 15s on the brakes, still babying the car
  6. Made it to the finals tonight in Sport Compact driving the wifes civic. I lost by .16, guy beat me with reaction time, dialed 15.7 and ran a 15.71
  7. I do, so does Pontiackfreak (I believe that's Gary's username) and a few other members on here.
  8. Video of Clark: Funny to watch that video and see how much bigger he is than the rest of the players and even coaches lol
  9. You think OSU is going to get a qb in this (2014) class? They have seemed to be missing on all of their targets and others that many felt should be targeted have committed elsewhere.
  10. I copied and pasted directly from Tails website, blame them http://www.nationaltrailraceway.com/apcm/templates/news.asp?articleid=54288&zoneid=23
  11. "Looking to give more avenues of action for the street cars in the area, National Trail Raceway will have two special 99.7 the Blitz Street Fights in 2013. The 99.7 the Blitz REAL Street Fights will showcase real street cars in two events just for them. The next of these events is scheduled for Saturday, June 28th. The action will run from 5:30 PM to midnight during these events and cater to vehicles with closed exhaust, DOT-approved tires, as well as current license and registration. Activities throughout the night will include the beginning of the NTR/NHRA Street Legal Drags 100 Mile an Hour Club. At a specific time during the night, those wanting to attempt to make the club will be called to the lanes and given one chance each to make it. Those successful will not only receive a special NHRA Street Legal Drags 100 MPH decal, but also will be recognized on the Results page of the NTR website for their accomplishment. The NTR/NHRA Street Legal Drags 100 Mile an Hour Club will also be contested at select 99.7 the Blitz Street Fights throughout the year. The 99.7 the Blitz REAL Street Fights will also include a car show, index racing, "Call Out" grudge battles, and a Heads-Up Throwdown of select racers determined by the NTR staff. Throughout the night, special prizes and awards will be given out from great sponsors like JEGS, Faslube, Denny's, and Leghorns Restaurant. Entry into these events will be $15 for test and tune / car show entries and spectators. All female spectators will be admitted FREE as well. Motorcycles are also welcomed throughout the event and all racing action will be held on the 1/4-mile with a .400 Pro Tree start. 12. I know most of you will have no clue what or where the hell any of this is, but for those familiar with Nerk/Heath this is pretty cool.
  13. Tonight I saw this on my facebook feed and thought it was pretty cool. This is video of Newark/Heath taken in 1985. It's amazing to see just how much has changed in 28 years. Unless you are from Newark you prob won't know how it's changed, but still a cool video to watch just for the older cars. Having lived here my whole life I can watch it and say "holy shit, there's a highway there now" haha.
  14. I remember only having 4, 6 and 10, it you adjusted the antenna just right you could pick up Fox 28 lol. I am only 28 and can remember a lot of things that are now just over looked and forgotten.
  15. Yeah, I try to include stories my dad, mom and grandma have told me. I am a history geek at heart.
  16. I thought I was the only weirdo to keep a journal for his son lol. I too started one when my boy was born, I write everything from random stories in my life, to what we did that day, just depends on my mood. As for 30 years from now, I was just reading a thing about this on yahoo. Apparently some guy is working with the government already to create future technologies. His visions included McDonalds with basically only 1 employee in them. He said there would only be a need for 1 human to put food inside a robot, which would cook it, wrap it and deliver it out the window or over the counter. His other vision was mobile surgery rooms. He basically stated that ambulances would be equipped with a Dr, Nurse and all equipment needed to do it on the spot rather than be taken to a hospital. I always like reading these type of things cause I remember being a kid and hearing about how we'd all own flying cars by 2000...now that I think about it, I am going to go google "things that were predicted to happen, but never did" and "things that were predicted and came to be"
  17. Another 7th grader offered a schollie haha, this time from Kentucky http://espn.go.com/college-sports/recruiting/football/story/_/id/9380763/kentucky-wildcats-offer-scholarship-seventh-grader-jairus-brents
  18. About to fuck us in 15-20mins according to 10tv...2 gas stations here in town (Newark) ran out of gas due to people geeking out about this storm.
