  1. I too am laughing at them, good god this fucking forum needs a chat room where voices can be heard. You are somehow taking what is being written by me as me hating on OSU when in fact it's the total opposite
  2. You want hating, try this on for size. I literally just read this on scout: "Baylor's win vs Kansas more impressive than OSU vs PSU Just heard some D-Bag ESPN analyst say this. The OSU hating is really getting out of hand. It is really at a new level." The "hating" isn't from me at all, it's from the media and voters. You may just not want to believe that outside of Central Ohio, no one is giving the Buckeyes or Big Ten any credit
  3. He must be hating as well... You somehow disagree with this or consider it "hating"
  4. Are you fucking high as well? I have yet to "hate" on Ohio State lmao. Please quote one post of mine where I am hating...I can quote some of mine where I praise the B10 by pointing out how they have the same amount of teams with 2 or less losses as the Pac12 and SEC
  5. Some key points from the article which I can prob assume you didn't read or if you did read, didn't understand what you was reading exactly: "The highest-rated opponent Ohio State has played this season – or is likely to play – is Northwestern, which was No. 16 at kickoff last month. The Buckeyes won a hard-fought game, 40-30. Northwestern, however, has lost four in a row, and that ranking appears to be more preseason hype and an easy early-season schedule than any discernable might." ^^ Same exact thing I have been arguing with you over There are other scenarios too, such as Alabama losing to LSU but still winning the SEC and finishing 12-1. Will voters really leave the two-time defending national champs out for a team pointing to a win over Wisconsin? Don't bet on it. ^^ Another point, the win over Wisconsin impresses no one but you apparently "or the fact that the best (only) quality non-conference win by the entire Big Ten is currently Michigan over Notre Dame" ^^^ Think about that one for a second... "Meyer may just play good, conservative, fair-minded football. We'll see. But he ought at least consider trying to hit the gas pedal and not letting up. If he can score 100 points and impress a fickle voter, then score 100 and impress a fickle voter. If the Big Ten doesn't like it, then the Big Ten should get better. The league's prolonged stretch of mediocrity and coming overexpansion that dilutes things even more will be a recurring thorn in the side of the Buckeyes' national aspirations." ^^ I'm sure you'll read that as "hating" on Urban, OSU and Braxton somehow, when really it's hating on the B10 as a whole
  6. What Mountain West team am I comparing to an undefeated team? You can't comprehend what you read, that has been proven to me time and time again. Go re-read what I said, "the article is comparing OSU to Boise in regards to not getting respect while being undefeated". I never said OMG Ohio State is Boise State, its in regards to the perception that OSU doesn't belong because their conference is weak in the minds of voters and media.
  7. What am I hating on exactly? I am confused by that statement...I haven't "hated" on Urban, Braxton or OSU at any point in this entire conversation since I posted the link. Maybe your reading comprehension is just as shitty as your math skills Wisconsin will be ranked what? 23rd? Michigan St will be in the lower 20s if they make it to the B10 championship game and lose to OSU. Hell MSU is 7-1 yet ranked 22nd, you don't think a perception about the B10 exist?
  8. OSU does not have a fucking quality win, therfore they are not 2004 Auburn. How much more blunt do I need to get? OSU has 0 credible wins at this point and prob at seasons end in the eyes of the voters. If you think the voters are excited that OSU beat Buffalo then you are a fucking moron. Do you really think the voters are going to care that OSU beat #15 Northwestern who went on to have 5-6 losses? No, they are going to look at the fact that Northwestern was preseason hyped to hell and back and folded like a piece of paper. Do you think they are going to be impressed that OSU beat 1 win Purdue or Florida A&M? No! Auburn had victories over quality opponents, teams that at the end of the year were still in the top 10, OSU will have 0 victories against similar teams. Hell OSU will have played 1 team in the top 15 all season long. As I edited my post, just move along man, move along. You are losing your footing and argument at the same damn time. BTW lets agree to hope that this years OSU team isn't the 04 Auburn teams. I don't want to see OSU left on the outside looking in while having a 25 game winning streak (assuming they win out and win b10 championship game)
  9. That makes a difference on the fact of their records? 14-26 vs 16-26.. Let it go man, just let it go
  10. Haha ok, here ya go....the point you was trying to prove is? If a 6-2 Buffalo is one of OSU's top wins then the media's point is only further proven. You'd have more ground to stand on if Northwestern or Wisconsin were ranked in the top 10 at their time of defeat to OSU, but they weren't. You are also assuming that MSU goes undefeated to close out the year and makes it to the b10 championship game. I have a feeling they lose to Michigan this week honestly, not saying it will happen just a feeling
  11. Just making sure you were able to do the math, you seemed confused when I started tossing numbers out. I actually think Minnesota is pretty decent, I have watched them a few times myself. I feel their coach should resign, his health issues are becoming an on the field issue.
  12. Indiana, PSU and Minnesota all could be losses. Penn State isn't as bad as they played against OSU, Minnesota is pretty decent (have you watched them at all?) Indiana can hang points on the board. Wisconsin already has 2 losses, they lose 1 more that equals 3, they lose 2 out of their last 5 and that equals 4...
  13. Wisconsin will prob end up losing 3-4 games and be outside of the top 25, Michigan St could either go 4-0 in their last 4 or go something like 1-3 (they have Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern and Minnesota) I would love both teams to be in the top 25 at seasons end, hell give me a 1 loss MSU team in the B10 championship game ranked in the top 15 and I would be happy. I just don't think that'll happen. The perception right or wrong is that the Big 10 as a whole is weak. That isn't my perception, if you look at the b10 conference you'll see they have the same amount of 0-2 loss teams as the SEC and Pac12 which are being praised as the 2 toughest conferences.
  14. Yeah you're right there is, they don't have the luxury of recruiting BIG10 caliber players. We won't get into the whole Boise St debate again, they was just referenced in the article because of OSU being disrespected by the media and voters. If by Michigan week OSU is still 4th in the polls then we have to start really worrying, I think 2 of the top 3 lose at least once. I just think OSU has to be absolutely dominant the rest of this year. BTW how is it my argument? What argument do you think you're seeing here? I am not arguing anything, I didn't write the damn article, I simply posted a link and then explained what the article was about haha
  15. There's a reason OSU started 2nd in the country and has now been jumped by 2 other teams. The national perception is OSU has played no bodies, thus the same perception that Boise State usually gets. Hell some people feel that even if 2 teams ahead of OSU lose and the Buckeyes win out, OSU should be left out and jumped by a 1 loss team. Talk about lack of respect.
  16. Not really, why would I hate the fact that OSU is undefeated? Facts are just facts though, the Big10 needs to get better or else OSU's victories will be downplayed by everyone outside of Buckeye fans. Hell just yesterday the band was shown twice on PTI and Around the Horn, on both shows shots were taken at the football team. Bob Ryan said "if the football team was half as good they would prob win the AFC North". The video shown on PTI asked the question, "who's more entertaining, the OSU marching band or The OSU football team?"
  17. Oh really? #5 LSU #10 Tennesee #8 Uga #15 Tennesee (SEC champ game) Not a lot tougher? I'll be here waiting for your rebuttal. OSU may have played teams that at the time were ranked, but none were higher than 15, and that team is now a 4 loss Northwestern, whom OSU struggled against. Beating teams ranked 20 or lower is not going to impress the voters, OSU has to absolutely destroy ever team they play from here on out and pray teams in front lose Do you think any of OSU's opponents finish the season ranked higher than the ranked teams that Auburn team faced? LSU 16th in both coaches and AP Tennesee 15th in coaches 13th in AP UGA 6th in coaches 7th in AP
  18. Ok then we'll be Auburn, either way OSU will be on the outside looking in based on the National perception that the big 10 is terrible. FWIW Auburns 2004 schedule was a lot tougher than OSU's has been this year.
  19. The Boise comparison is stating how they could go undefeated and be on the outside looking in based on the fact that their schedule is weak. That is always the excuse people make when talking about why Boise should not be in the NCG
  20. Maybe you should read past the title, he defends Ohio State...
  21. Very good article here and I sort of agree with his statement that OSU is basically Boise State http://sports.yahoo.com/news/ncaaf--don-t-blame-urban-meyer-for-ohio-state-running-up-the-score-225158208.html
  22. I just read that Devin Bogard tore his ACL, this is the second injury to the same leg for him since coming to OSU. Might have to think his career could possibly be over with
  23. Interesting to see that Troy Smith is still playing football http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nfl--heisman-trophy-winner-troy-smith-spends-last-football-days-in-cfl--holding-spot-tim-tebow-doesn-t-want-002803981.html Strength of schedules: http://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/ranking/strength-of-schedule-by-team Alabama 21st Oregon 29th FSU 32nd OSU 49th FSU plays #7 Miami, 4-4 Wake Forest, 3-4 Syracuse, 1-7 Idaho and 4-3 Florida. Who knows how bad those teams will be by seasons end Oregon has #5 Stanford, 4-4 Utah, 5-2 Arizona and 6-2 Oregon State left Bama plays #13 LSU, #11 Auburn, 4-3 Miss St and 6-2 Chattanooga OSU has 1-6 Purdue, 3-4 Illinois, 3-4 Indiana and 6-1 Michigan I think Oregon and FSU drop a game honestly leaving a Bama/OSU NCG. There is so many games left, apparently this time last year there was more undefeateds in CFB than right now.
  24. 05= 32.6ppg 06= 34.6ppg (arguably the most explosive offense we have seen at OSU) 07= 31.3ppg (NCG team with a 1st year starting qb) 09= 29ppg 10= 38.7 Urbans 1st year 35.8ppg This year so far: 47.25. I think this will be closer to 39ppg by seasons end
