When the talent was there Tress let the dogs loose. When the talent wasn't there he played it "close to the vest" in order to gain victories. I would rather have ugly wins than colorful losses. Tress's offenses didn't have to score as much due to the defense's being a whole lot better. Go look at some of the scores during his tenure though, you'll find a 73-0 on his resume plus other "high scoring" games. BTW Oregon jumped FSU in the BCS standings. Many feel FSU's schedule here out is going to hurt them in regards to the #2 spot even if they win out.

Jones is a big dude that's for sure and he is over looked in the conversation of who takes over after Braxton. I know in his highschool tape he has a good arm, I was about to make a comment about him never throwing a pass in college. He made some horrible reads in his limited time last night, one play in particular he got Rod Smith killed.

Jones? You talking about 3rd stringer Cardale?

Coaches poll top 4 is the same (FSU did pick up some more points over OSU, now up by 44). Baylor is in to the top 5 now B10 has 4 in the top 25 (OSU, Michigan, Michigan St and Wisconsin) Key matchups this week: OSU vs Purdue #22 Michigan at Michigan St (I'll take MSU) #19 Oklahoma St vs #10 Texas Tech #7 Miami at #3 Florida St (My heart wants Miami, my brain tells me FSU by atleast 14)

Before the game as the team walks from the Blackwell over to Skull Session, we was near Chris Fields mom and aunt. They were talking to some guy complaining about how Fields doesn't get the ball and how Braxton plays favorites and if Guiton was the QB, Chris would be the leading receiver. So what happens last night? He scores a TD and caught at least 4 passes. Just thought it was funny.

We saw a blue one in person yesterday driving down broad street. They do look better in person, I still hate the ass end

I remember that hit, a kid from Columbus who played for the Gophers laid the smack down to him. He just laid there with his hands in the air haha.

We had the absolute worst experience I have ever had at an OSU game. Before the game we was walking down Lane Ave, some drunk dude grabbed my wife, then his buddies automatically started kissing my ass when I went after him. Then we get into the stadium and 9 kids squeezed themselved into 4 seats right in front of us. They decided to spend most of the 1st half standing on their seats, so my wife watched most of the game from the big screen. Then we had some drunk twat behind us with a pink light stick swinging it around hitting my wife a few times. Once she noticed it was getting under my wifes skin she began to do it on purpose and laughing about it. I then told her to sit her drunk ass the fuck down. So she moved on to the couple next to us and began kicking them in their backs until she left at the start of the 4th quarter. I really love night games but at the same time it allows everyone way too much time to "pregame", thus making the actual game atmosphere a nightmare for the sober ones. Now the game it's self was awesome! It was nice to see the defense step up finally. The best part of the game besides the amazing halftime show by the band was when the entire crowd started chanting Kenny, Kenny, Kenny followed by Kenny G, Kenny G, Kenny G Oh yeah, Marcus Hall absolutely destroyed some poor PSU lineman. The worst part is everyone in the stadium saw it coming but the lineman lol

Another change to next years schedule, apparently this one done due to ESPN. I feel ESPN has way too much pull in college sports at this point. "Ohio State will host Atlantic Coast Conference power Virginia Tech on Sept. 6 next year instead of Sept. 20, as was originally scheduled. ESPN approached both schools about the date change and the possibility of either a full national telecast at 3:30 p.m. or a primetime telecast. Both schools supported the change. Sept. 6 was initially an off week for the Buckeyes after the season-opener against Navy at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium. The first off week of the 2014 season will now move to Sept. 20. The complete 2014 schedule is below." 2014 Ohio State Football Schedule - Adjusted Oct. 24, 2013 Aug. 30 - vs. Navy (at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium) Sept. 6 - Virginia Tech Sept. 13 - Kent State Sept. 20 - Off Sept. 27 - Cincinnati Oct. 4 - at Maryland Oct. 11 - Off Oct. 18 - Rutgers Oct. 25 - at Penn State Nov. 1 - Illinois Nov. 8 - at Michigan State Nov. 15 - at Minnesota Nov. 22 - Indiana Nov. 29 - Michigan Dec. 6 - Big Ten Championship Game

We may venture out then, even if I don't bring my car. Gives me an excuse to take the kid out one last time I guess
-
We rented on back in June to take to IFO in Pittsburgh. I actually enjoyed driving the car, it wasn't fast by any means but it was comfy, got great gas mileage and had plenty of room. Ours was the automatic LTZ model. Even had a little fun with it on the track, ran 18.2, 18.2 then broke out on a 17.8 pass haha http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/SAM_9252_zps296ca860.jpg

count me out then
-
Think they'll shut it down at the 1/8th due to temps or will they run it full 1/4? If my car is done in time I would like to make it out there to get at least 1 pass in it this year. It's only been 13 months since I last drove it We was at trails this past Sunday and it started out with not a lot of people there, but by 2ish it was packed. My buddies were still able to get 4-5 passes in

Picked up a set of tickets for the game this Saturday for the wife and I. Just thought i'd share, now back to Gene Smith is an idiot talk...

Hmm, maybe I have never noticed it/paid attention to it before. BTW Purdue game given a start time of noon and on BTN, that means I have to be up around 4am and leaving my house by 5 to make it over there with time to spare haha.
-
Idk why I found this interesting but I did, today on espn's bottom line ticker, they showed T25 matchups, but they did it using BCS rankings instead of AP like they usually do. That's the first time I can remember them doing this

My neice (sisters daughter) started school a year early and she's at the top of her class. They noticed at a young age that she was "gifted", so they gave her some test to see if early enrollment was a smart decision, thus far it has been. She will be 17 when she graduates, so are people who are born in June-early August most times.

I wonder how many recruits had this picture sent to them https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BWjgsZ4IIAAXgcJ.jpg So far McMillen and Gesiki for sure
-
I don't think UGA was over rated at all, they have been crippled by injuries. They have walk on's starting at skill positions and still competing with teams.
-
Yeah I don't understand why they are in, maybe they don't wanna burn a redshirt? Not sure on their backup qb situation as I don't follow FSU very closely. Safe to say Winston is in the lead for the Heisman right now?
-
6 of the top 12 in the polls went down today. FSU should honestly jump both OSU and Oregon, they are absolutely killing Clemson
-
It's reviewed in the booth before an ejection is made. Indiana's defense is horrible but their offense can put up points lol http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/9849083/ohio-state-buckeyes-star-bradley-roby-ejected-targeting

There was just a hit identical if not worse than Roby's in the Auburn/A&M game and no call
-
I think he's just gone for the game in which is happens.
