You should have a cookout this weekend for CR members... Just remember not to leave that information lying around....

Hopefully this is the car that will make Bugatti some money. I think they were losing a lot of money on the Veyrons. But if this is a profitable car, all that spent on the Veryrons will pay off.

For the record, he fixes everything. He does a lot of Subarus, but that's because he's gained a great reputation with the local Subaru community (he owns one too). But he'll fix whatever you bring to him. VW, BMW, Audi, Honda, even domestics.
-
Add another for ZB. He'll deal with you straight and does good, fast, reliable work for a fair price. If there's something I can't do myself, he's the guy I have work on my cars.

Dually... Though I have to ask.. Why get a pickup truck when you can't use the bed?
-
Nice, but too wild. They'd never risk trying to sell it to the Average Joe. But tweaking the Camaro to make a retro 1st gen Firebird I could definitely see.

The DJs on The Blitz are just complete morons. It might just be because they are trying to be "Hip and Edgy" but they sound and act like idiots. It's painful to listen to them talk. And I just can't listen to that stupid trio they haveon in the afternoons.. Those three need to be shot. I wouldn't mind a Mike radio station around here. No DJs, no talk shows, no interviews, just a wide spread of music.

Lizard Skinz on 5th in Grandview does full wraps also.

Commercial radio sucks. I have 5 stations programmed in the work truck and at least once per day I have to shut the radio off because all five stations have commercials at the same time. Unfortunately, satellite radio hasn't been all that great either.. Octane has gone soft with lots of whiny crap, boneyard is still OK but Eddie Trunk annoys me, Liquid metal only plays screaming growling metal, and Faction is too unpredictable. If Octane would just harden the fuck up, I wouldn't mind so much.

The G35s only had AWD in the 4 doors, but the 37s have AWD available in the coupe as well. Supposedly it's an ATTESA (?) AWD system like the GTR has, but it's probably a "dumb" version of it. Either way, I'd seriously consider a G37x. I liked the shape of the 35, but the 37 looks so much better. Downside is that the x doesn't come with any of the sport options.

Fuck that made me LOL... Wow... Are you really THAT dumb?

The problem is that advertising companies are making their commercials louder, thinking that it makes the message stick. Ultimately, however, it's laziness on the station's part. The TV station normalizes a show's volume based on the PEAK volume level. That's why movies are always so quiet; they have higher peak volume levels making their average lower. Ad companies know this and keep their peak levels as close to their average as much as possible. So what ends up happening is that the ad comes out as loud as the loudest explosion of the movie. TV stations just need to normalize shows to their peak and ads to their average. But that takes a bit more time and effort. They'd rather just dump the ads into the ad computer and just let it spit out the ads during the commercial breaks automatically...

http://restructure.wordpress.com/2010/04/26/endorsement-of-racial-colorblindness-is-linked-to-racism/ Does this mean that the only way to not be racist is to BE a racist?

A lot of BMW batteries are uncommon sizes, so they tend to be pricey. But $95 for a good battery is normal. Is this a year-round DD, or have a big stereo? If so, you're kinda stuck. If I could recommend a battery, Advance's Gold batteries have a 3 year free replacement and 7 year pro-rate warranty. If you lose your receipt we'll still honor the warranty from the date code on the battery. If this is just a summer/fun car, you might want to look into a Lawn & Garden battery. I have one in the WRX. It's about a third of the weight, $30, and still has about 300CCA (mine tested to 376CCA). The posts are bolt-on, but they're small enough you can press regular ring terminals around them pretty securely. I have no problems starting the WRX now. Though I'll probably have issues in the winter.

I so hate when that happens...

Ha... If I let stuff like this bother me, I wouldn't post in the Romper Room. It's like running out into the middle of a dodgeball game. You'll get hit a lot, but you'll also be laughing your ass off at the same time.
-
Your posts have the range of the aforementioned vuvuzela... ..one note.
-
Really? Hmmm.. Have to rethink my career path then, since stand-up comedian is out...
-
I would, but then I'd never get to hear your awesome Vuvuzela playing again..

Naw, he blew past me on riverside while I was driving the speed limit. Then he would drop back and speed up every time I got close. I was on his bumper through the curve. I was thinking of going past him on the inside, but decided not to encourage him. Believe me, if that boat passed me on *that* curve, I'd have some respect for the guy. But his entry was late and he had no concept of an apex. His tires were maybe three inches from the edge of the asphalt and there's a guardrail on the outside. Any faster with that level of driving and he'd need paint at least. Oh, this was in the STI.

Upset? Who's upset? This guy was comedy. Threads like this are for the lulz, not the drahma. I only wish I had the forethought in situations like this to get a license plate number. But I'm usually too busy making sure the idiot doesn't take me out with him if he screws up.
-
Dude.. Really? First off, I feel I should explain something to you. When someone leaves hard at a light, it does not me "I want to race the car three lengths back and on the right." I'm not sure where you got the impression that I wanted to race you, but I can assure you I didn't. Yes your car is a Lexus and probably cost twice what mine cost when it was new. Yes, it is fast in a straight line when you push the pedal down a bit. Congrats, you discovered the accelerator pedal. Have a cookie. But when you went through the underpass beneath Dublin-Granville Rd, you were SOOOO SLOOOOW. I wanted to take that curve with some speed, but your two ton tub nearly hit the guard rail while I was yawning behind you. Protip: Don't bring a hammer to a gunfight if you want someone to take you seriously. And lastly, no, you didn't block my pass at the end. I was taking a right on Hayden-Run. Ultimately, you didn't prove yourself a better driver, and most certainly not a quicker driver. What you did prove, however, was that the idiot ricers out there don't just drive Hondas.

Change your seating position and look into better lumbar support. My sciatic became inflamed when I started commuting to work a couple hours each day. Whet it flared up, if I shifted my weight wrong, my right leg would go out from under me and I'd hit the floor if I didn't have something to grab. DEFINITELY take steps to keep that nerve happy, or it'll KICK YOUR ASS.

I love what he did with the radiator.

I don't miss Road Rash.. The sponge! The Sponge! My mother had to remind me to breathe.
