  1. Just went. Good burgers. They don't seem to be seasoned, just good meat on a grill that cooks only burgers. I had a Bacon Cheeseburger with BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce was the only disappointment. It tasted more like steak sauce. Not bad, but not what I was expecting. Plenty of meat and plenty of cheese, I was very pleased there. The bacon was good too, not overcooked which is tough with the volume they're doing. Fries are good; a regular puts a McD's large to shame. I didn't try the cajun spices, but did grab some salt, there wasn't much on the fries as-is. Good flavor, you can taste potato rather than "generic fry", but they were a bit too soft for my taste. Overall, I really liked it. Another bonus is that they have Coke Zero (it's the last spigot on the second machine). The line was long, but it went fast enough. But that's not their fault. There were 12! people behind the counter. They can't fit any more back there, so they were certainly trying to keep the line under control. I'll go back. I've cut back on burgers, but I'll make an exception for these.
  2. From what I hear, minis are hard to come by. Might want to start shopping now so you have one by summer if that's what you want.
  3. I used to like Cheeseburger in Paradise, but then they changed their recipe for both my favorites and I can't stand them now. Red Robin is... OK. I'll have to give this 5 Guys place a try.
  4. You're going to hell for that.... ..I am too because I LOL'd.
  5. I'm sure there's some truth to it. I've never said it wasn't.
  6. Ninja Luchadores. Might be a challenge for the Lumberjack Commandos.
  7. The "random creepy guy" looks kinda like Hugh Jackman.
  8. Why the hell was that match up even made? The people who should be apologizing are the ones who thought it was ok to this mismatch. Think about the losing team. Essentially they're hearing this "We beat your asses, but it was so bad, we're going to throw away the win because we can afford to." What are they supposed to think? That they can't win unless the other team GIVES it to them? This is BS from bottom to top. Sometimes I think the stuff people do to "help" special needs kids feel "normal" is just downright cruel.
  9. I was commenting on the fact that this helpful notice was sent out by a group that stands to gain from the situation. It smacks of fearmongering in order to drum up more donations.
  10. BULLSHIT. I can't believe they're considering a forfeit. I wonder if it was the players' idea or someone else's. If I had a daughter on that team, I'd damn well make sure there wasn't a forfeit. Unless they cheated, they earned that win.

  18. A squip is a small charge meant to burst a bloodpack or punch a hole in a wall. This was a blank in the gun. And it was the bullet that killed him, not the charge. Hence why I said "Close." not "Wrong."
  19. This is the Holy Grail of EVs. I wonder how much this technology alone costs.
  20. LOL, I followed the same trail. GirlSuck to TubeGuy to NOSBF It's funny looking at the comments and how many people think nitrous is a fuel.
  21. Close. The dummy cartridge is correct. To make the gun look loaded, they drained the gunpower from some catridges and replaced the bullet. But the aforementioned idiot left the primer caps live. In a previous shoot, the trigger was pulled on one of these "dummy" cartridges and the cap was just enough to lodge the bullet in the barrell. Because the bullet was in the barrell, it was missed when the gun was cleared and a blank cartridge was loaded. In the fatal shoot, the blank was fired which propelled the bullet into Brandon Lee's gut.
  22. In a few short days, an African American man will move from his private residence into a much larger and infinitely more expensive one owned not by him but by the taxpayers. A vast lawn, a perimeter fence and many well trained security specialists will insulate him from the rest of us but the mere fact that this man will be residing in this house should make us all stop and count or blessings - because it proves that we live in a nation where anything is possible. Many believed this day would never come. Most of us hoped and prayed that it would, but few of us actually believed we would live to see it. Racism is an ugly thing in all of it's forms and there is little doubt that if this man had moved into this house fifteen years ago, there would have been a great outcry - possibly even rioting in the streets. Today, we can all be both grateful and proud that no such mayhem will take place.when this man takes up residency in this house. This man, moving into this house at this time in our nation's history is much more than a simple change of addresses for him - it is proof of a change in our attitude as a nation. It is an amends of sorts - the righting of a great wrong. It is a symbol of our growth, and of our willingness to "judge a man, not by the color of his skin but by the content of his character". There can be little doubt now that the vast majority of us truly believe that this man has earned both his place in history and his new address. His time in this house will not be easy - it will be fraught with danger and he will face many challenges. I am sure there will be ma ny times when he asks himself how in the world he ended up here and like all who have gone before him, the experience will age him greatly. But I for one will not waste an ounce of worry for his sake - because in every way a man can, he asked for this. His whole life for the past fifteen years appears to have been inexorably leading this man toward this house. It is highly probable that that in the past, despite all of his actions, racism would have kept this man out of this house. Today, I thank the lord above that I am an American and that I live in a nation where wrongs are righted, where justice matters and where truly anything is possible. 23. You do realize that saying things like 'Where's my CHAAAANGE??' the day after inauguration just makes you guys look like whiny bitches, right? I haven't heard a SINGLE person here on CR say that Obama will be the second coming. Every time I've read a post supporting him, it was tempered with reasonable expectations. Whereas the anti-Obama crowd have near constantly clowned around with sarcasm and snide comments like a group of jocks in highschool. Let's try and be a bit more mature in the future, ok? And besides, if he does part the reflecting pool, won't you feel silly?
  24. If it's so small, it should be in a golf cart. It's too small. I wish I knew the math, but I'm sure it's too small. I think the volume of the engine isn't large enough to contain the amount of air/fuel mixture to extract the energy needed to get the power he's claiming. Modern engines are only about 25-30% efficient. If they were to become 100% efficient, a V8 would still be 2 cyl. And that's MUCH larger than his claim of an auto engine being smaller than a coffee can.
