I've called it twice and this has been my experience. The don't give a shit and might radio it out. But nothing happened either time I called.

In a manual, there's always one dead giveaway.. The shifter wiggle. Every prank video I see like this, the driver always reflexively does that wiggle of the shifter to make sure it's in neutral.

The old contract deals essentially had the remainder of the phone's cost worked into it. So a $700 phone that's $250 up front means $18.75 of your monthly bill went to the cost of the phone (Possibly more). If you pay for your phone entirely up front, that $18.75 is free money in Verizon's pocket. This is exactly how T-Mobile does it, except that now you're told up front and you don't have to pay it once the phone is paid for. So now they have Edge. You get to pay the portion of your bill slated to pay off your phone, PLUS the $25/mo. So now that $700 phone costs you $1150. But here comes Verizon playing the hero who says, "Hey, we're good guys, so here's $25/mo just for signing your name here. Your phone is basically free!" But it's not. $25/mo for 24 months is $600. So from that $1150, you're still paying $550 for that phone, which is probably still a good amount over what that phone actually costs Verizon.

Good qualifying. I'm a little miffed that Mercedes is still so dominant. I was hoping that the other teams and engine manufacturers would have closed the gap. That said, most improved has got to be Ferrari. I'm very impressed with their placement after last year's disaster. Vettel is fast when he's got a car he likes under him. But Kimi is right behind him, and that shows just how much the car has improved. Williams is looking very good too. They're going to be fighting with Ferrari all season, I'm sure. Redbull is still running those Renault anchors. It sucks, but they really don't have another option. Mercedes damn sure won't sell them engines, Ferrari won't unless they think they can beat RBR, and Honda will be a step backwards. I really like the team, and I've got a bit of a geek-on for Adrian Newey, but Renault has always been underpowered and RBR is constantly having to compensate. Ricardo is a great driver and I hope he can find some success this year. McLaren.... yeah... Gone are the days of McLaren/Honda being a dominant force. Maybe those days will come again, maybe not. But Honda really dropped the ball, and McLaren has to pay the price unfortunately. Poor Alonso. Another year stuck in an noncompetitive car. Last year he showed that he was one of the best, if not THE best, driver out there. But with the way McLaren is looking, I don't think he'll even do as well as last year. He really needs a car that suits him. I think if that happens, he'd take bites out of Mercedes. But not this year. Going into this, I wasn't sure if I was going to be a RBR fan or a Vettel fan. After watching qualifying, I think I'm more of a Vettel fan. Which works out, because the girlfriend is a Kimi fan. So I guess we're Tifosi this year.

Not that I've seen. Lots of speculation. I'd wager around 37.5K. That would put it squarely in the STI's price range, and within striking distance of the Golf R.

It appears that the Focus RS will be coming with 345hp and a real AWD system. According to the press release, it should also be under 3400lbs. Dammit Ford.. Stop tempting me.

I've always felt that counter-point to a criticism about an expensive car somewhat suspect. I wouldn't buy a R8 even though I'll probably never be able to afford one. But I'd love to own a F40 and I have even LESS chance to own one of those...

I've never been a huge fan of the R8's styling..

Top. Looking at it, I'm thinking: That's real nice looking. But I've had such horrible experiences with domestics... Well, let's build one online for fun. Aaand they don't bother to make sure their builder works with Chrome. This isn't helping to change my opinion about their attention to detail..

Full 3D military RTS game, complete with unit formations.

Loved this game when it came out. It was the first game that really had a strong emotional impact for me with the story line. The only thing I had issue with was that the enemy fleets scaled to whatever fleet you bring into the mission. If you're good at minimizing losses, you'll be facing some really strong fleets towards the end of the campaign. Not necessarily a bad thing. But I realized that by maximizing the strength of my fleets I made things really hard on myself later on. Still, I've thought about picking this up for the nostalgia.

Got a new header coming. Hopefully the BRZ won't sound like a civic with a busted muffler, and that sweet sweet blower whine will be that much more evident.
