Cool. Do they pre-reg, or only do walk ups? I also noticed that WOR SCCA runs at kil-kare. So that's another source of events there. Though they will probably make tighter courses than a vette club would.

Does the Corvette Troy club allow non-vettes/non-members to compete at their AutoX events? I didn't see any info on their website regarding registration. Kil-Kare looks like an interesting place to run an event. I'm going to try to get to a lot more AutoX events with the BRZ this year. Especially since I won't be able to drive in as many RallyX events.

Lots of good advice here. Start with sticky street tires and stop there until you know what needs attention the most.

Few years ago, I almost hit one that fell off a box truck. It was easily over a foot an a half across and likely would have done serious damage.

I've been behind "Snow Comets" and haven't had any visibility issues. But the Ice boulders are assholes. I clear all my windows, and knock off most loose snow, but I don't go down to paint. If the 100 yards or so that I'm blowing snow causes an issue for someone, they're either too close or have some other issue. It's not a big deal. Ice on the other hand, I'll make sure there's no sheets. I've had some big chunks hit my windshield. Luckily none have gone through.

We all know that trains are precisely engineered to run on properly maintained tracks, and that they are sensitive to changes which can derail them. ..right? The narrator is actually entertaining too..

It's funny, I bought Diablo 3 and played it for a while then lost interest. I saw your pic and thought I'd load it up and play for a bit. Only to discover that my battle.net account doesn't exist any more... EDIT: n/m found it. Used an odd e-mail.

Not bad at first glance. Though the first thing I'd do is strip all the Lambo badging. Other annoyances would include either mounting the wing in the right spot, or removing it and installing a functional one. Reversing the louvers over the back wheels, trimming that stupid "diffuser", and putting some real wheels and tires on it. I'd also look into just how much torque a 914 transmission can hold. They weren't exactly monsters to begin with. I always liked the styling of the old Countach. The nice thing about something like this is that you can do things to it that wouldn't do to a real one.

Funny. The industry is watching this closely since it's the first simultaneous release of a major picture to both theaters and streaming. Considering there's already so many pirated sources for a $6 movie, the sales numbers will have to be crazy to make this look like a good idea.

I saw the first demonstration with nudging the ball and thought: "Neat. But not amazing." I was about to close the window when he started piloting the ball around. Then I watched the whole thing. Very cool. At first, I thought he was using a camera to locate the ball, but it is actually a resistive touch surface.

Because there's no Toyota engineering helping it down the track. You could strap that firewall and VIN plate to the back of the car and it would perform the same. Personally, I think if you're going to call it a certain car, it needs to have the full passenger cell and dashboard; like in WRC. Tub it, brace it, build a cage in it, but you have to move that profile down the 1/4.

Stock block, I'm ok with calling it an "import". Even more so if the head is stock. Now if they call it the fastest Lexus, we'll have this discussion again.
