  1. they don't work that well for cars either.

Its a shame someone passed away but it seems the barrier did exactly what it was engineered to do; prevent an out of control vehicle from going left of center and endangering innocent drivers.

From what I have read cable barriers have a lower fatality rate when compared to rigid barriers because they absorb some of the collision energy in the cable tension. They also have the advantage of being ridiculously cheaper then rigid barriers.

I can't find any material stating that cable barriers are any more or less fatal for motocycles. One study in europe came to the conclusion that cable barriers had no increased fatality rate, mainly because if a motorcycle is out of shape enough to hit a barrier they are likely to die regardless of the barrier design.

  2. The news is great at providing all the details.

The complaint filed with the court, on March 26, "the named defendant did recklessly violate the terms of a protection order issued pursuant to Ohio revised code 2919.26 or 3113.31. Defendant came to [victim]'s home to pick up their daughter and filed a interference with custody report with Columbus police while at the property."

  3. What's missing for me is who he sold them to.

Both times to an undercover cop.

Both transactions were recorded by the investigator. In the second sale, the investigator told Wassell, according to the complaint, that he or she had a felony conviction for a domestic violence incident.

Wassell was recorded on tape responding: “The whole felony, banned-for-life thing, it’s stupid.’’

I need to start home roasting. It's something I want to get into down the road. How did that first batch turn out? Have you gotten better at roasting from when you first did that picture or was there not much learning curve to it?

first batch was good. I've played with my popper a bit and I've improved on my consistency. The popper method doesn't let you change the roast profile without modifiying it to be able to adjust the heating element. I'm debating weather to buy a behmor 1600 or to buy the stuff to modify the popper.

Very easy to do. Bought beans from sweet marias and followed their guide here: http://www.sweetmarias.com/airpop/airpopmethod.php
