  1. I don't know who makes a good drip maker because I never make drip, but I echo everyone who is recommending a high quality grinder. It doesn't matter how nice you brewer is if you are buying stale ground beans. Beans should be brewed no more than 5 minutes after grinding.

Really I think the areopress makes the best single cups of coffee if you dont have an espresso machine. Once I got the aeropress I almost stopped using my french press entirely.

Check out coffeegeek.com if you are sold on a drip machine.

Also just because here is my kitchen.

  2. I dont think you can get cuban beans do to trade agreements but Cafe Brioso will make what I think they call a "café cubano" which is prepared in the traditional miami way; espresso whisked with brown sugar to form a paste and then more espresso is added to that. the pasty sugar-coffee mixes with the crema of the espresso.

Some cubans make it con leche with evaporated milk for extra sweetness.

  3. I "watched" it live today. It was a failboat of an AMA. He had scripted answers for specific questions.

I think it was a corny stunt that sounded just like any other speech he or any other politician would have answered like.

Yes. He avoided the hard questions.

  4. He never failed a blood test, not a single one. The French are just sore losers. Just you watch. They'll strip him of his titles and hand them to a french rider.

You do realize that the USADA taking this action is a board funded by US congress, is a US agency, and is run by a guy from Florida, right? The UCI has nothing to do with this.

Due to a clerical error in the federal business vendor process, a solicitation for ammunition and targets for the NOAA Fisheries Office of Law Enforcement mistakenly identified NOAA’s National Weather Service as the requesting office. The error is being fixed and will soon appear correctly in the electronic federal bidding system. The ammunition is standard issue for many law enforcement agencies and it will be used by 63 NOAA enforcement agents in their twice annual target qualifications and training.
