  1. If it weren't for those fugly hood vents, I would think this was a C6. They should just collaborate on a car and call it the corviper. Give me the styling of a 93 red RT10 over one of these any day...
  2. I might try and make it for one of these meets soon also. I had no idea they happened until now. v8fiero - nice to see another gli owner on the board. What color?

    1990 Miata

Ah man, I think I might be in a miata for autox next season also... don't tell me I'll still be losing to you FWIW, I looked at this car last week and it is VERY solid for the high milage it has. Oh, this is Jerry with the jetta, btw.
  4. I just noticed that my post count has been at 23 for quite some time now... Edit - and for some reason it now went up to 24, I'm confused. Ehh, whatever.
  5. Pretty sure that would be the least of her worries...
  6. Oh, no... the bike was towed from where it broke, to my apartment. What I think is shady is that they then knew where it was, and it disappeared a few days later.
  7. What do you guys know about shamrock? I had a bike towed by them recently, and it was stolen 4 days later...
  8. A cop recently told me "towing in columbus is like organized auto theft."
  9. My stock gli... http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f122/jjschafe/KTV_5545sm.jpg
  10. Not to threadjack, but if this is a socket 754 motherboard, I have an athlon 64 3000+ that would make this a very capable system that I will sell for next to nothing...

    project mini me

I'm calling :bs: on 180hp being kept streetable. 150+ hp = track only :grin2:
  12. Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to flame at all, but I think you're going to be hard pressed to find anyone willing to pay over $2000-$2500 for it, just purely based off of what similar condition dsm's seem to go for these days. Afterall, it is almost 20 years old. Either way, shoot me a PM, I wouldn't mind taking a look at it this weekend if you are free...
  13. Do you have documentation on the rebuild/who did it? Any interest in a possible trade for a bike?
  14. On a dsm, it is effecient up to about 17-18psi. Pretty sure with the wastegate actuator pulled, it will spike to mid 20's and settle around 19-21psi at redline.
  15. So you're selling two boosted civics and a prelude? How many Hondas with temp tags do you have?
  16. Maybe he did a diesel swap :grin2:
  17. I don't know how you drive any of those three in the snow, but maybe I'm just a wuss... All finances taken out of it, I would buy the zo6, but that is just my personal taste (and I plan to be in a zo6 within the next few years). I like a car that turns and stops just as well as it goes, and none of those three do as well as the vette in all three categories. Monetarily, I might think about dumping some major money into getting the fox body to handle really well, then also buy a decent dd for the winter time.
  18. Sounds like she needs one of these bad boys... http://www.poopsenders.com/
  19. Good stuff, I'll be coming in this weekend... although I don't see any NTB's downtown, is it a tire kingdom (on long street)? Also, should I get an appointment, or just stop in?
  20. Long story short, I thought my processor crapped out, bought this one brand new, and now figured out that it is my video card. I got it yesterday, installed it, ran for maybe 30 seconds (it works fine), then shut it down... so it is basically brand new. -Athlon 64 3000+ -Socket 754 -somewhat hard to find (they don't make the athlon in socket 754 anymore, just the sempron) -no heat sink, etc, just processor -$40, I just want to get my money back...
  21. Awesome, thanks for the help. Looks like $40 for the full synth oil change and free tire rotation at NTB, not too bad. Any idea if I can bring them my own oil/filter? I'd rather not use their pennzoil if I don't have to...
  22. For those that didn't read my introduction thread, I moved here to columbus from cincy about 6 months ago. I have never in my life taken a car anywhere to have routine maintenance done, but now that I live in an apartment up here with no tools, I think I might have to. Can anyone reccomend a place (preferably in the dublin or upper arlington area) that is good, and preferably cheap, or does anyone work at a shop and could hook me up? I don't really want to pull into f-ing tire discounters and just ask them to rotate my tires, nor do I want fastlube to change my oil. At the same time, I don't want to pay the ridiculous charge that VW has for a synth oil change. Anyone wanna help a brother out?
  23. Right in the dawg pound... perfect. I can wear my chad jersey, and catch him after he scores and leaps in.
  24. I know this sounds stupid, but could you throw one on a scale for me?
