  1. Then you may be jealous of the fact that I have seen about 10 Evo II - VI in the last week (I am in japan until tomorrow)... :grin2:
  2. Wait, so can we get confirmation that he is picking up an Evo V and not a VIII - X?
  3. If a white politician said all kinds of things about "black folk," would the media crucify him as a racist?
  4. Heh, aren't we all?

    new guy here

Middletown is a dump. That is all.
  6. True, but I'm thinking 389,970 of them are making a joke based on the movie, and not actually attending video tapings of light saber battles at a church of the Jedi.
  7. Wow, waaaay low for my jetta. Old EPA - 22 city, 29 hwy New EPA - 19 city, 27 hwy My Actual - 23-24 city, 32 hwy I usually see a combined 26-27 or so.
  8. Whelp, when you guys are autocrossing on sunday afternoon, I will be sound asleep, because it will be the middle of the night in my hotel room in Japan I'll be back on the 24th, so plenty of time for the GASS event.
  9. "He was a tuner boi she said see you later boi he wasn't good enough for her." - a wise 16 year old girl That is all.
  10. Did you order beforehand? Or do you just have to wait in line and buy it (little ceaser's style...)?

    Woot Off Today

Funny, I was literally sitting at work yesterday thinking "we haven't had a wootoff in a while." Sweetness, something to do the rest of the day at work...
  12. +2 I went to countless resume seminars (as well as many revisions with professionals on my own resume) while in college, and every single one said to keep it at 1 page (not including references, which should normally only be given out when requested).
  13. Nevermind, different couple I guess. Good thing I didn't ask if it was you, haha. I'll try to say hey next time we are both at an event.
  14. My miata is in the background of picture 73. Apparently not cool enough for close-ups though. Oh, and the crx popped it's dipstick out, not a hose issue.
  15. Unfortunately I didn't get to see the alfa or the gt40 up close, but both looked to be sweet cars. hpfiend - Was that you and your wife that I talked to about being Purdue alums?
  16. I would have pulled my car out and behind her to block her in, and sat patiently until she decided to come out. Hell, have your fiance go in and get you a magazine to read while you wait. That, or I would have just swung my door open as hard as I could into hers. Whenever I drive a beater somewhere, I always check to see if some numbnut has dinged me, because I could care less if it hurts my door dinging them back... and it will teach them a valuable lesson. People are so oblivious to the world around them, it infuriates me.
  17. Not a problem. Did anyone get to talk to the gt40 owner? I just noticed it was registered as a '66 GT40. Certainly it was a kit car, right?
  18. Yeah, awesome course today. Definitely suited the miata a lot more than PE#1. My first two runs were decent, then my last three I dropped about a second each time. I know one or two more runs could have easily brought me into the 42's or lower. Oh well, at least I'm seeing improvement. Grayson, you owe me a $2 tire pressure gauge, haha. I completely forgot about it until I was in the grid.
  19. Probably because his door wasn't locked
  20. They have a cell phone lot at CVG (cincy airport). It works out really well... about a 10 second scoot from the lot to the baggage claim.
  21. Saw that on the news this morning, they interviewed the little girl. She was under her covers while the robbers were in her room. I would be scared shitless now, I can't imagine being 13.
  22. Never seen those before... but I have a supertrapp on my miata. Feel free to take a look at it at the drivers school this weekend of you want.
  23. By the looks of the pics from last years driver school, no, we won't need numbers.
  24. If you don't need to change tires or anything, 7 am could be a little early. You'll definitely want to get there early enough to check in, get your car in order (remove spare tire and other junk, put numbers on, etc) and walk the course a few times by yourself. Probably 7:45 to 8:00 would be perfectly fine. I usually show up as early as I can, as I would rather have too much time, then be rushed. Edit - I usually have a duffel bag full of stuff (clothing options for the day, some food, sunscreen, etc). Since it will be raining, you may want to bring a large trash bag to keep things like a duffel bag dry while you are running.
