PM'd yesterday morning, and responded to your craigslist listing as well, hoping it might be a better means of contacting you. Still very interested in the wheels. Let me know.
-
Not sure, I know that a 5mm spacer was not, so went to a 10mm. With a 5mm the rim cleared, but the tire didn't (no stretch at all on my 9" wheels). OP, you have a PM, I'd like to arrange a time to come test fit one to tell for sure.

Well, here's my dilemma. Currently, I have 18x9 + 40 offset Konig wheels on my Stealth, with 275/35 tires. When I installed my coilovers, I lost clearance (at the coil itself - it would otherwise contact the sidewall/edge of rim ) and so I now have to run a 10mm spacer and longer studs. I have never been able to get the vibration out of the wheels at as a result of the spacers, and it really gets on my nerves. If these wheels could get me away from requiring spacers I'd be pretty interested in them, but I'm not sure they will, or that my thinking is even correct here. The way I see it, I'd gain 15 mm of clearance over my 40mm offset 18x9s, by just the difference in offset alone. However, the half inch increase in rim width might negate the potential gains altogether. It also sounds like my current tires would mount on these no problem. Anybody confirm or dispute my logic? Is it worth maybe test fitting one?

Would these take a 275 tire safely?

I would love to have one of these as a daily myself. Looks great!

Took some pics of dads mower tonight. I threw the battery charger on it for 20 minutes, and it literally started right up on its own. Blew some of the dust off of it, but it's still pretty dusty from picking up all the all leaves when it was last ran in the fall. He threw out $300 but would take a fair amount less I'm sure, because he's itching to buy a bigger one. Here's pics: http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Stuff%20For%20Sale/IMG_1169.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Stuff%20For%20Sale/IMG_1170.jpg The bagger is completely removable, but it goes with it. It has pins on it that slide down right above the hitch to attach. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Stuff%20For%20Sale/IMG_1171.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Stuff%20For%20Sale/IMG_1172.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Stuff%20For%20Sale/IMG_1173.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Stuff%20For%20Sale/IMG_1174.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Stuff%20For%20Sale/IMG_1175.jpg I helped him replace the shitty ball/socket tie-rod ends on it once, and when they broke a second time I just went to grainger and bought some tractor tie-rod ends, and bent up my own tie rod. It will never fail again. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Stuff%20For%20Sale/IMG_1178.jpg Video - starts right up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjOzEcMOY7E&feature=youtu.be

I just called him and it is a 42" deck, with 3 blades, I guess it has the "better" Kohler motor with true oiling, not just splash. I just talked to him and he said he'd sell the mower, bagger setup and everything for like $300 obo. I can shoot you some pics later if you want, I was just looking at bigger tractors with him this past weekend. As far as the steering gear, I replaced it myself once before probably 4 years ago when the teeth on the original one became worn, and it apparently just wears after time and develops play like it has again now.
-
I still like my Stealth, and I'm in the same boat as many others as far as sentimental value and having way more in it than it's worth. I probably won't sell it any time soon, but I can't say I'll have it forever. It's not fast with its 240ish hp, but it still entertains me most days. Being fwd, it has made me decide that I want my next car to be rwd, and lighter, not 3300 lbs and fwd.

Parents have an older riding mower that should be for sale soon. It's a Craftsmen Rider with auto (hydrostatic) trans, like 18ish hp Kohler motor, 42" deck I think. It needs a steering gear replaced soon because it will jump teeth when turning tightly, but it runs great. I can ask him what he wants out of it if you're interested. It would probably also come with a bagger attachment, if that makes a difference.

I imagine this is in order to meet the diesel emissions/exhaust filtering standards?
-
I've heard of some of the more serious vr-4 3000gt engine builders running rotella t, not sure on what weight. Seems like diesel oils are generally higher quality than standard oils, but among diesel oils there are better choices than rotella. I can say that my dad runs valvoline premium blue in his cummins, and he seemed to do quite a bit of research.

Basically apparent sand blasting a baffled valve cover for powder prepping, bearing damage/loss of oil pressure within days of installing cover. Engine tear down supported suspicions. No receipt so no recourse.... Good times, great oldies etc.
-
I would go ahead and cast a vote AGAINST Streetwerkz if you're powdercoating valve covers, an intake, or ANYTHING with an internal engine side....

As for security, don't forget to use a locking hitch pin. I see people all the time who have the lock on the hitchball itself of their trailer, but then just a cotter pin on the receiver pin. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31YDGMFT0PL._SS500_.jpg http://www.amazon.com/Valley-75730-Locking-Hitch-Pin/dp/B000BOB8ZQ

It was absolutely surprisingly slippery this morning, didn't look it but i could tell as soon as pulling out of my driveway. Sucks to see that though!

So, is it just me, or could the gun not be defeated by wearing earmuffs or earplugs? Baller silence gun, guys :jerkit:

I think the numbers in the model name stopped having any correlation to powertrain some time ago... Engine: Six-cylinder in-line diesel engine with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology, aluminium crankcase, three turbochargers (high-pressure, with variable turbine geometry), common-rail direct injection with piezo injectors, maximum injection pressure: 2,200 bar. Displacement: 2,993 cc, output: 280 kW/381 hp at 4,000 – 4,400 rpm, max. torque: 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) at 2,000 – 3 000 rpm, specific output: 93.6 kW/127.3 hp per litre of displacement.

Dehumidifying too much can actually draw moisture through cinder block. I've never seen it but have heard of such several times.
-
I'm having a hard time forming a personal opinion, perhaps moar pics would help.
-
That is strange. Perhaps they're offerings for the Ford Ranger are just generally of lesser quality lol. I'm not sure what might explain that
-
I wanted to add also, I've seen the Husky brand floor liners and they are absolutely an inferior product. Thinner, more flexible, poorly cut edges. Just crap.

I too have them in my truck, and I got them for my dad for his truck. They fit great and they are SUPER durable. My dad showed me where the mat actually wore out the heal of one of his shoes (truck is a manual). If that isn't a good example of how durable they are I'm not sure what does.
