  1. I was telling a couple friends that this movie was getting good reviews and they all told me about how terrible it looked.... Guess I'll have to go see it after all.
  2. It sounds like David may be free, but BUMP for anyone else that may be interested.
  3. That's the one! The "Northwest Library" on Hard road to be exact. I'll PM your contact info for the coordinator, I know she would appreciate it if you have the time!
  4. Strange title, I realize, but a friend of mine works for the public libraries and is helping to organize a car-related children's event at the Northwest Library in Worthington. It is called "Touch A Truck", but it actually includes of number of different vehicles from police cars to fire trucks, utility trucks, race cars, classic cars etc. - all for kids to check out and I guess touch lol. They have a number of volunteers bringing vehicles in every category except for a classic car, so she asked me if I knew anybody who might be interested. Obviously there is the potential for some "interaction" with kids, so you probably wouldn't want to bring your show car, but if you've just got a decent classic car and you're free October 15th from 10am-Noon let me know and I'll get you in contact with the coordinator. Do it for the kids . Please let me know if anybody's interested, thanks.
  5. LOL. I need this. http://img.hottopic.com/is/image/HotTopic/934572_hi?$270x406$ http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/PopCulture/EverythingElse/CultFavorites/Epic-Meal-Time-Bacon-Strips-amp-Bacon-Strips-TShirt-934571.jsp
  6. Runny McOnnerson strikes again. Periods my man, use em. Also, what would really solve this problem is to put ramps where they finish at the starting line, so that they can just go over the solid objects rather than hitting them. Science.
  7. I'd be down as well. I suggest cars and coffee, then drive out 33 to 664 then other fun routes, then head to Millstone BBQ for some really good food.
  8. I believe that is who did the warranty work on mine, he did a good job and quickly identified the issue.
  9. I have only a few things to offer. Firstly, I have the 50" version of that tv, and I had the bulb, color wheel, and "light engine" I believe replaced for free during the warranty period for a hazy/dark spot. My buddy had the 55" version, and he had an issue with some sensor on the door on the rear for the bulb not recognizing that it was closed. You can kinda think of his issue as a check engine light for your gas cap being loose. Just something else to check.
  10. Some people have a separate personality for the internet, and I'm not even saying "keyboard tough guy" exclusively. We're talking just two separate people, it's weird shit.
  11. I can HIGHLY suggest springing for an actual "First-Up" brand canopy. They are by far the best, easiest to set up, best materials, etc. etc. I went through several before my First Up and it's been solid for years.
  12. If it's the guy I'm thinking of, I believe it also had straight cut gears. Sounded nasty cruising through campus.
  13. I completely understand you Clay, and that's to some degree what drew me to my Ranger. They fact that the chassis hasn't been largely revised since 1998 (losing the I-Beam front suspension), and that many parts are still interchangeable back to the 1st generation (late 80s) ranger models probably keeps a lot of people away, but it's that simplicity that actually led me to them. Same with my grandpas 88 chevy 1500, VERY easy to work on. Electrical gremlins are it's only challenge.
  14. My grandpa has some older wooden stretch planks that we use all the time for his docks. Wood isn't great though because they'll swell if they get too wet, then they don't want to slide... That said: http://mansfield.craigslist.org/tls/2567668655.html
  15. That sounds like it may be right. I know my parents were pulling all of it last fall, and this guy made it clear that pulling it is definitely the wrong approach. Treating it over time is best, leaving it in place so you know where it's rooted...
  16. My parents use a company called "Lazy Acres" lawncare I believe. They had a MAJOR problem with crabgrass and foxtail I believe it was, and that's why they hired this company. The guy has done an amazing turnaround with what just seems to be timely application of the correct stuff. Maybe give him a call.
  17. Pics of tri-bars? fair, good, great shape?
  18. BLKNYLO LELLO LOLGOAT NANNERS NANRGTO GTOMG
  19. I'm not even sure, I'll have to run it by them. Give it a couple days and somebody might want all 3 anyway.
  20. Parents may be interested in the fridge if it's available separately.
  21. If I do it would be no larger than a 17 or so, and couple inches drop max. We are by no means looking to achieve mexican status. I also wouldn't change wheels/tires if it required more than a pound or two additional weight at each corner, but we're talking steel--> to alloy so I doubt that would be tough. Slow achieved .
  22. If you were in the GTI i did actually notice you back there, didn't click that it could be a CR person though.
  23. I considered a 4x4 V6, but I've always heard how shitty the 4.0L engine is and wanted to avoid it. They were offering substantially better rebates on V6 trucks though, so the "upgrade" actually wouldn't have cost too much. My dad also has a Ram 2500 with the Cummins and 4x4 that I generally do the maintenance on, so whenever I need a real ballsy truck for something that's always available.
  24. Thanks everyone, I've already put over 200 miles on it and so far I'm damn happy. And Brian, the ford badges are gigantic, but since they're nearly the same blue as the truck they don't bug me too much. As far as rebates, I qualified for basically all of them, including a new college grad deal, and all in all I ended up buying the truck for around 4k less than sticker. I considered base models with black plastic bumpers and crank windows, but figured I'd want to kill myself eventually. You can pick up those super basic trucks for 14-15 though it seems like.
