  1. Saw this today: http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20110518/ts_alt_afp/usreligionanimalsoffbeat Ultimate win, and I'm sure Thorne will be pleased!
  2. So basically, to get people to pay attention to government-issued strategies for hurricane/tsunami/earthquake/flood preparedness, they now promote their suggested natural disaster preparation plans as ALSO being ideal for a Zombie Apocalypse scenario. Pretty clever actually, maybe a good way to reach an untapped audience, just by (tongue-in-cheek) mentioning "Zombies" at all in a government-issued statement lol.
  3. He seems to like them pretty well. He was looking at SLP stuff, and I told him it might be a little too much for him, and with these he said they're "just enough to hear what you've got" lol, which is probably all he wanted.
  4. I don't believe they are, my uncle bought them.
  5. I heard the Camaro is much lighter, herpy derpy etc. etc.
  6. Coleman tents (actually sold at Walmart) are truly decent tents, especially in terms of being water-tight. You can go with some higher end brands, but honestly if you're camping out of a car and not hiking your tent into somewhere remote it's not worth the added cost. I used the same Coleman dome tent for the past 8 years or so, and it's still to this day in great shape, and has never leaked. The only drawback of most any dome tent is their resistance to wind, as they're prone to "fold up" in really strong gusts. I actually like this one pretty well, and it's a more upright structure which should be a bit more sturdy, with added head/shoulder room: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Coleman-Montana-Tent/15840118 Edit: I guess they changed the Montana Models, this looks more like the one I was thinking of: http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-17-Foot-10-Foot-8-Person-Modified/dp/B000W7BHJY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1305218153&sr=8-1

  8. This thread was started during the 2 weeks I was in Florida, and I had completely missed it up to now. Very cool build though, and as others have said great work for your age. It reminds me of all my work on my Stealth, although I was ~20 and much less body work was involved .
  9. So it sounds like he's pretty interested, if u could pm me your number he'll give you a call.
  10. My uncle has G8 and has been talking about an SLP axleback. I'll run this by him too.
  11. I'd be down for shit around 9ish or so I guess. I'll be on my way home from campus around that time anyway.
  12. I chased a similar problem on my parents 03 Suburban w/ the 5.3. Theirs indeed up being a much larger problem lol, but I would bet on either coil or intake gasket w/ what your describing. Swap the coils around and see if the miss follows/changes. The intake gasket rolling over and starting to leak is pretty damn common and there is a revised gasket for them.
  13. You know you can't turn down a nice hairy man, so don't kid yourself. Don't you go thinkin it's all just lightning either, brah, I's got the THUNDER to back it up.
  14. I do my own oil changes generally, I've been known to take my oil and filter of choice somewhere during the dead of winter, however. Our garage is not heated. I'm the only one who does the oil changes on my dad's cummins though, with the sheer amount of oil, the length of time it takes to drain completely, and the fuel contamination as a result of emissions equipment, I only trust myself.

  16. Samesies^^^ Would love to compete here but I'm just too damn MANLY.
  17. I see browsing the innanetz, at 2am.
  18. Looks like a pretty solid hit, man. Even though you're not injured it's annoying as hell. I've been there.
  19. +1 on the Mustang wheel idea too. I've seen them on Regals and thought they looked decent.
  20. Not a lot, like I said, the price is nice and the fact that they fit for sure w/o spacers or clearance issues is nice. If I was to buy a different set of wheels for a decently powerful fwd car like this though, I'd sure is hell spend the money on something that supports a wider tire. All I'm sayin.
  21. The price is nice, but I would avoid spending money on 6.5" wide wheels.
  22. I replaced the processor and "pin-modded" it in a compaq laptop I used to have, worked great for a while, but the additional heat eventually killed the fan because it ran constantly. I did this all within warranty at best buy, so when it died I took it back to them, told them the fan died (which was true) and they gave me a new laptop . WIN.
  23. That could be it too then, I suppose. I love the shifter in her car, and the clutch feels fine, just feels off until i drive it a few minutes. To add my somewhat relevant input, I love my buddy's Si Sedan. He works for Honda as a crash test engineer, and ordered his through their employee program. I almost prefer the lines of the 4 door over the coupe somehow. He hasn't had his more than a year, but I don't believe he's had a single issue with it.
