  1. Same car for sure. The dent on the fender is the same. Somebody had it between SoloVette and this guy though. Wasn't it pretty badly rusted?
  2. Holy shit yea that was too, I forgot you were with him. I will never forget seeing that thing WALK away from me.
  3. Sorry sir, didn't mean do be a downer. I think I've only met you once, at Rob's. We could start a white car mafia if you want.
  4. YO DAWG I'M HERE DAWG. LET'S TALK. But srsly. Let's talk.
  5. Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but I'd probably trade cleetus for my Dakota. The motor has a gazillion miles on it but it has a new transmission and is in overall good shape. The motor could give out any day, but it runs fine .
  6. That would require a pretty substantial system, probably well beyond the budget you're thinking. For what you're describing a generator (diesel/gas) and a nice, soundproof enclosure would probably be a better investment.
  7. I've strongly considered this swap in a ranger once I graduate. I'd probably settle for one of the factory diesels too, though they're hard to find.
  8. They didn't give me any shit.
  9. Welcome, my first car was a Contour with the zetec/5spd. Good motors! I definitely like the project. How much do these things weigh factory/gutted?
  10. I can answer some questions on this, but you should know that expecting to "power your house" is largely a dream. First, I can tell you that wind power would almost certainly be a novelty in your case as well. There are only very few places in Ohio with enough wind to make "wind turbines" logical choices. Aside from a few strips in Champaign county, the majority of that high wind-potential area is along lake erie. As I'm sure you know, wind isn't constant and as with solar panels, a large part of your cost comes from your energy storage system. This is in most cases a big bank of batteries, or something similarly simple for residential applications. If you're still interested in the anti-generator idea, I might do some more research on solar panels, as they may be more viable than you think. I believe Billiumss has a basic photovoltaic panel setup that powers some electronics in his garage like a radio and I believe some lights. You might ask him about his setup.
  11. Went there tonight for my freebie. Saw a line wrapping all the way around the inside of the building. Placed order online from my phone. Went to get gas. Came back in 15 minutes and bypassed the line to get my burritos. http://files.sharenator.com/Fuck_Yea_in_HD_by_CrusierPL_RE_Sharenator_is_Growing-s900x773-120811.png
  12. My Dakota has been "ticking" ( more like knocking ) for the past 9k miles or so, and it's still driving fine today. It doesn't use hardly any oil, has good oil pressure, and still has decent power. It has a ton of miles, so I almost think it's the timing chain, but I'm not sure and it's not worth tearing into with the miles on it. I'll drive it until it blows, then perhaps re-motor. Basically all I'm saying is not to write it off completely from a simple "tick". Food for thought.
  13. I helped my dad hang a 55" above their mantle, into the brick. I was skeptical as well, but whatever masonry anchors he bought held great, because I hung my 190 pound self from the mount before we placed the TV and it didn't budge. All that said, I would have a hard time trusting a drywall-mounted setup unless I found studs.
  14. You mean the girls jeans don't make it okay?
  15. Might help: http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/783210-harmonic-balancer.html
  16. I've only been stopped without mine on campus, leaving cars and coffee, by campus PD. No ticket, just a written warning.
  17. I believe Andy (AudiOn19s) does glass polishing as part of his optional services.

  21. That's the best one I think. Nothing like acting "HARD" in your Halloween costumes.
