  1. Sure would be great if this wasn't still sitting here....
  2. and also http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgDyvjY5AVQ
  3. There are enough of these out there already, I figure there will be plenty more to contribute. Funny just because it's real: Watch these next two in a row: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9ohsvJHkbY&feature=related
  4. Potentially. Shit looks quite sick though, good sir.
  5. that looks LIKE A BOSS.
  6. I asked this question a while ago, and I believe someone told me this guy is good and reasonable... http://www.tomsautoupholstery.com/
  7. For whatever reason, when I see this title in the thread list, my brain reads it as "Oh Snap 13 Drawer Tool Box". I lol a bit to myself.
  8. I like it sir. I actually even like the tan/black color scheme too. It makes the base model front end actually look decent and tough. Would be more badass if 6spd though .
  9. I will give it to George that he has been apologetic, and always tries to get the truck right in every time I've had to take it back. I think it must be a couple of his employees or something, just not checking over things. He is definitely TRYING to make it right for me. I definitely agree about the bad voodoo though...I don't know wtf I did do deserve it all.
  10. Mine made it 260k miles in my Dakota before it needed opened... I have the same transmission in my Dakota, and it was doing what you described even with regular flushes. After acting that way earlier this spring, it finally let go and would only leave in 2nd gear just a few weeks ago, so I just recently had it rebuilt. The transmission guy said that if flushes were done at a Dodge Dealership they would have also adjusted the bands at the same time, and probably kept the transmission alive a bit longer. With that in mind, I vote band adjustment at least, especially if the fluid is still clean...
  11. Rob, that was the issue as of the last time I talked to you. Why don't you read through this and catch up. 1st time - drop off truck for transmission rebuild - When I pick it up it slips horribly in all gears, and can't seem to stay in 3rd on the freeway, throws CEL - transmission code. 2nd time - drop off truck again, outline issues, Owner says the new torque converter fell apart, replaces it and washes the truck for me....I pick it up again in a couple days. Runs fine for a few days, then starts slipping AGAIN and squealing. Transmission CEL on AGAIN. 3rd time - drop off truck AGAIN, this time on a Thursday - Owner says ANOTHER torque converter has failed, says he's ordering one from a different company this time. Says I should have the truck back on Monday... don't get it back until Wednesday. After some provoking, Owner offers to Deliver the truck to my parents house, because they were down a car while I borrowed theirs.... When pick up the truck and give my dad his car back, I get in the truck and find that it VIBRATES BADLY above 50mph regardless of engine rpm (I'm assuming probably driveshaft issue), and THE TRANSFER CASE LEVER WON'T MOVE at all. Seems to shift okay though.... Needless to say the truck is going back to Rushman Automotive tomorrow, maybe the 4th time will be the charm. I'm not optimistic, though. Seems to me there are more issues with his shop than "bad parts". I'm a car guy, and I understand things happen. I've even ran into issues myself with low-quality parts or problems putting things back together, but this is ridiculous. The amount of checking over work and testing that must go on before a vehicle returns to a customer here seems truly non-existent.
  12. Damn, OshKosh mudflaps FTW. Would make any truck badass.
  13. I can say that Rushman Automotive may not be a very good option...Had a bad experience lately.
  14. My buddy and I use a fairly complex setup for carp that has proven very effective, but basically a nice dual drag spinning reel, a 10 or 12 foot surf rod, a 2 or 3oz sinker for packbait, and 1 or 2 kernels of corn just above the hook. Perfect carp setup...also look into bait alarms, can't beat it .
  15. Link to work LOL.... Seriously though, I've never caught a grass carp but I've been reading up on them a lot and would like to try. The bait and technique is completely different than it is for common carp. From what I'm reading a lot of guys catch them on green beans or corn, either on the surface or suspended just below from a float. A technique called "freelining" is also popular I guess. Grass carp are solely vegetarian though, so they can be a little tougher to entice I believe. I honestly would be interested in where you're seeing giants at though. I imagine they look like missiles in the water?
  16. Buckeye Lake out east will consistency produce fish, although generally only medium sized as far as catfish go. Griggs Reservoir is also good for bass, and catfish too, just don't cast out too far if you're bait-fishing or you get into the main channel where it's a little deeper than you want. I've personally been into carp fishing lately, as silly as that sounds. Since I don't eat what I catch anyway they put up a great fight, and that's all I'm in it for. They get pretty giant quick and can be found all over. You use pretty much the same gear as you would for big cats, but different bait and methods obviously. My buddy caught this 23lb common carp a couple weeks ago, biggest I've personally seen, although they get into the 40+ range. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Fishing/DSC_0061-edited.jpg As far as Antrim Lake, I've been meaning to try that as well. Probably will here in the next few weeks once I'm not so busy with classes.
  17. Definitely had a similar issue with them when shipping to Canada. I realize it's international, but it was "guaranteed" as you're suggesting and was I believe 2 days late. For whatever reason tracking information is not available for packages shipped to Canada through USPS, only a notice that the item has been "accepted" to be shipped, and then again once it arrives....shitty.
  18. Jensen sold, being picked up tomorrow. U.S. Amp still for sale.
  19. Yes, I know all about it. A local powdercoating company may or may not have cost me a few rod bearings in a BRAND NEW engine as a result of sand trapped in the baffles.... Maybe one day I'll have you guys do another one for me correctly.
  20. Do you take any precautions when powdercoating valve covers? What kind of prep is involved?
  21. Well, I've been looking at this Boston 12: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4200_Boston+Acoustics+G212-44.html But honestly just a decent sq sub that matches well with the the mono amp I've already bought. It puts out 300 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)... hopefully that gives you an idea. Cash is obviously an option too, just let me know what you're thinking.
  22. Please buy these things.... Tired of looking at them and already have my system put together.
  23. That was in a for sale ad on 3si, not long ago. I remember it now. Looks nice for sure.
