  1. It didnt look that bad until the third replay.
  2. Car looks great! It should sit perfect once the front is dropped.
  3. John has been super cool to work with. I havent met Corey yet but Randy and the crew are all real nice. I think they said they will be at Mid-Ohio in June, so I will probably make a pretty strong effort to go out and watch them race.
  4. Thanks alot, I really appreciate it.
  5. That was a fun day. How is your boys truck coming along.
  6. Yeah, I ran it at kilkare. It ran a best of 14.54 if memory serves me correct. That was with the 3.0 pulley and stock limited slip. It now has the 2.8 and a TruTrac. The next upgrade is to a larger heat exchanger. The Magnacharger unit just isnt cutting it by time it gets in third the intake temps are way up there and it is setup to pull timing pretty aggressively.
  7. I never got around to posting any pics, so here they are. Sorry about the delay. The truck is an 05 F150 FX4 that I bought new and then redid the way I wanted. I wanted something sporty but still wanted fourwheel drive for the winter. The truck has a Magnacharger supercharger with a recently installed 2.8 pulley, dynatech lts, corsa catback, 2/4 drop, and 22" AR rims. It is my daily and has 73k on the clock. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/cust18_01.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/cust18_02.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/cust18_03.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/dyno_tuningresults-1.jpg
  8. I just thought that I would share some pics of a customers race car that we have had the opportunity to help with some r&d on over the past month. The customers name is John Fergus and he races in the SCCA Sports 2000 Series. His team is based out of Lewis Center. This particular car has 6 National Championships on it as well as 60+ wins out of 75 races. Not too shabby of a record. I have been asked not to give out many details of the r&d sessions but I can say, this guy is going to be a handful next year. They guy in the car is Johns crew chief, Randy. Here are a couple of articles about John: http://www.scca.com/newsarticle.aspx?hub=1&news=3495 http://www.justracing.com/features/2007_scca_runoffs_fergus_wins_fifth http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/DSC02092.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/DSC02087.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/DSC02084.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/DSC02078.jpg
  9. How much are you willing to pay for a Big Mac though? The bigger problem is that people dont want to work their way up the ladder into better paying jobs. They want it all now but dont want to work for it.
  10. I wouldnt mind going about a 1/2" all the way around. I have so many projects going on right now though that it will probably be mid summer before I even think about that.
  11. I was talking to Jason a couple of weeks ago about the possibility of trading the Trailblazer in and getting something different. He was great to work with and hooked me up with a pretty good deal on a 09 Fusion. (I just posted up some before and after pics in the project management section) He was able to get me a great price as well as get me what I needed out of my trade. Overall it was a great experience.
  12. Here are some before and after pics of a 09 Ford Fusion V6 SE that I just picked up. Jason over at Chapman Ford in Marysville took really good care of me on the price of the car as well as on the trade in. He was great to work with and I will definitely see him down the road when it is time to get another vehicle. I basically wanted something that got good gas mileage, could haul the family around, and I could use to show what we can do in the shop. The car is pretty sporty to start with but kind of just gets lost in the crowd. I really wanted to sport it up a little and give it a little bit more of an aggressive appearance yet keep it subtle enough that my wife would want to drive it. I started with a 3dcarbon body kit followed Black Chrome American Racing wheels wrapped in 245/30/20 Nitto Neo Gen tires. I then smoked the front corner lenses and removed all of the badging, short of the Ford emblems. From there I threw a SCT XCal3 on in order to take care of the stupid throttle lag that is so common on the newer drive by wire vehicles. The car drives really nice and has a really nice crisp throttle response now. The next thing on the agenda is to take care of the interior as well as get the car on the dyno to work on the power numbers a little. I should have some interior pics in a couple of weeks. Basically, I am redoing the seats in black leather with light grayish suede and then carrying over the suede theme into the door panel inserts as well. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/DSC02107-1-1.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/DSC02110-1.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/DSC02114-1.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/DSC02118-1.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/DSC02120-1.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/DSC02122-1.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/DSC02129-1.jpg
  13. I dont think that is going to be a problem. I will be back in the shop on Monday. If you would like to give me a shout and we can go over a few things. The number is 740-549-2828.

I got it and played with it once. Havent used it since. It works ok but I would rather just use the computer.
  16. What year is the car? We should be able to tune the car for you. If you can get me all of the details on the car I can dig a little deeper for you. I know for sure that we can do 94/95's.
  17. I am pretty sure that they got that problem fixed very early on in the production of the trucks. If I remember right it was an isolated problem to the cam supplier and they switched suppliers or something like that but it was only on a relatively small amount of vehicles it effected.
  18. We should have that in stock at the Lewis Center store. I will let Scott know that you are lookig for it in case he hasnt seen this yet.
  19. My mom has an 07 AWD SS and it is way nicer than our 05. Everything is tight and nothing squeaks. It doesnt even seem like it could be the same vehicle compared to my wifes. I see alot of them come through the shop without any problems. Most people seem to like them. I am just kind of picky. One of my pet peeves is squeaky interiors. Ours hasnt even hit 50k yet and squeaks like crazy. The center console is what drives me crazy the most. The sad thing is that I could probably fix it. I just never think about it when I get home.
  20. My wife has an 05 4wd with the inline 6 in it. So far the secondary air pump solenoid failed, 2 and two of the speakers have blown. When we first got it we averaged 15mpg on the highway. After dynotuning it we are up to 16.8 but that still sucks. The center console and both front door panels squeak like crazy. Other than that it runs good, drives nice and has plenty of room. I probably wouldnt buy another one again but it is alright.
  21. If you give Scott a call at the Lewis Center (740-549-2828)store he should be able to get you a quote. We have done several of these trucks in the past. They are not terrible and it is definately easier to do the shocks at the same time as they drop down through the center of the coil up front and have to be removed to do the leveling kit anyway.
