I'd think it wouldnt over heat, even on the street. There are plenty of 4.3 V6 guys with partial fills running around on the street.

Sometimes roaches arent completely unavoidable though. My family owns shares in a high end time share. A few years ago we went out to Arizona (Sedona). Checked in and all that who ha. 75% is what 99.9% of factory "clear" glass is. Whats legal on the front winshield is a 6" strip of any tint %. I'd pass on the "75%" tint.

Buckeye Trail is a nice trail, how ever they seem to change routes often enough that they never put out new maps, thats the only down fall. Went to go do a 7 mile hike and it turned into a 13 miler. Yes windshields are very expensive to do, due to the curvature of the glass. $150 for pinnacle on the whole windshield from quality doesnt sound like that bad of a price though.

If you get bothered for 35% you're doing something wrong. I wouldnt fret about 35% at all.

I have pretty dark tint as well. 15% on the doors. 5% on all back glass. I also have a mustache and eyebrow of 5% that arent exactly small. I've been pulled over multiple times since my tint was done and not a single officer has said a word about it. And if they do, I have a doctors note for it anyway. Quality tint is key. A good tint will not turn purple like all the cheaper tints do (unless you wash your windows with something that ammonia in it then they still do.) My truck still heats up, but not anywhere near as much as without the tint.
