  1. I accually find alot of black people to be way more racist then white people.
  2. That is what I am shooting for!! Maybe we can run heads up. I got to ask my boss if I can get the day off.
  3. Yeah, your right about finding a better deal, I would like to keep this car as quiet as possible though, because it may become my DD... Not sure how quiet a 3" would be... Though, if I get my hands on a downpipe (around 150 on ebay) and buy this and weld it on. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Summit-670137-Exhaust-Cutout-3-in-Diameter-Clamp-on_W0QQitemZ330219935890QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item330219935890 I could get the job done, and still use my stock catback. I would just have to remember to keep a pair of leather gloves in the car to pull it off, which I have a pair of old fire fighter gloves that would work perfectly for this job. I'm torn, go the cheap way, and get er done, or spend alot of money for some shiny tubing... I also need to get a CD player in this car too lol...
  4. Good idea... I am working on that now!
  5. Wow... I would totally kill to get the backseat and one of your rims lol... As long as the backseat matches the front... I know your probably not parting it out at all, so i will leave you alone
  6. Yes, right now looking in about 3 weeks for a dyno run, I just wish that it wasn't so expensive to dyno run. Trip to columbus plus the money for dyno, yes i'm cheap lol. Also, anyone know of a good AWD dyno, or should I use the local guy here on the forums and just drop the driveshaft? At the same time I am afraid of what they are going to be lol... So, wanting an oppinion, sure, i could poney up the 500 plus for a 3" turbo back exhaust, but right now I am thinking about just running a 3 inch downpipe to the stock catback and putting a exhaust cutout on the downpipe. When I want the extra flow for power, flip the switch, and when I am crusing around, I still have a stock sounding exhaust. I have already priced it out and it will cost around 300 or less. oppinions?
  7. I haven't got that to happen yet... then again i don't want to blow up my stock tranny.
  8. Right now, my plans are to make it a clean, solid running car. After that, I am not sure. After that is done, I plan on starting my way down the upgrade path. Exhaust, intake, boost controler and go from there... If everything works out I would like it to be a 13 second car by may... I think my ultimate goal is a low 12 street driven car, atleast for now. I really would like to do a dyno run, and get stock numbers and keep dynoing as I add parts, I think that would be fun!
  9. At first, i didn't like the color, it is a dark purple light purple, but it really has grown on me, and is probably going to stay this way. This is the first forum I haven't been flammed on lol. Hopefully I will make it out to a cruise in soon, or maybe take it to the track in May.
  10. As the title says, this is my project TSI talon. I bought the car for 800 bucks in december with the motor in peices, and started work on it. I have had this posted a few other places and figured I would post the progess here. Let me know what you think. Here she is, a real beauty http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f374/tindall2006/100_2859.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f374/tindall2006/100_2868.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f374/tindall2006/100_2869.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f374/tindall2006/100_2866.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f374/tindall2006/100_2864.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f374/tindall2006/100_2876.jpg Of course the guy that had it, put everything in 3 diffrent boxes, and didn't really lable any of the bolts... so i spend about half a day organizing. http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f374/tindall2006/100_2862.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f374/tindall2006/100_2863.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f374/tindall2006/100_2865.jpg Basiclly put bolts where they go, or in a baggie, I also has a little tackle box I put alot of stuff in. Also started to work on the head http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f374/tindall2006/100_2885.jpg I am debating right now if i like the color or not, I kind of do and most likley will get some touch up work done later down the road. I also need to see if the transfer case recall has been done yet too, and get ready to change all the fluids before i start her up.
  11. I have some pictures of me fighting a car fire somewhere. It was just training but still kind of cool.
  12. I am guessing this is located in marysville.
  13. Where did you get the ECU and how much? I would like to get a spare too..
  14. Ok, I am thinking about doing this but not sure yet, just wondering, Near stock eagle talon, with an exhaust, intake and boost controler, what do I need to pass tech? pull the spare tire and make sure everything is tied down and my shit isn't going to break?

    Exhaust

I have a 91 eagle talon TSI AWD Trying to figure out what a 3 inch Turbo back exhaust would cost me... No cat, but run muffler, and I would like to keep the car as quiet as possible...
  16. Impact driver FTW... harbor freight has them for like 3 bucks, just don't break the tips... I need to get one off the truck next time it comes around.

The sad part is it is only a 14 sec car... I have driven some slow cars in my life! Happy to ride along! I'll send u a pm later this month thorne.
  21. try gary at http://www.mitsubishigraveyard.com/ He has good prices, and a really good reputation for the DSM world.
  22. And one last note, I have replaced caps on a ECU before and was successful, I would be willing to try it on your's, but be fully ready to throw the ECU out if I fuck it up lol... as in, i have done it once, it went good, willing to do it for you, but if i fuck it up, or it dosen't work i don't want to have to buy you a new ECU lol
  23. Ok, put the sensor in some water, connect to omm meter... Standard value: At 20°C (68°F) 2.45 +/- 0.24 kOMS Temperature “C (“F) Resi’stance kQ 0 (32) 5.9 20(68) 2.5 40 (104) 2.7 80(176) 0.3 To check your TPS http://www.plymouthlaser.com/tps.htm I can also send you the page on how to check your air intake, but I bet if you check those and fix them if faulty, the car will start.
