  1. Just wondering... Does anyone do GOBA? I used to do it when I was younger and had a blast with it.
  2. In texas, it is 70 on two lane farm roads... Ohio needs to get it up! We have speed limits up to 85 mph in some area's
  3. Ok, I talked to a few medics at ft Knox. They are going to want to talk to you and interview you. Also make you do some Practicals. Pm me your name/number and I will forward it to Cpt brook to give to them.
  4. Have you deployed before? What awards rank and what's your age. You Jane a pretty good rep on here so I don't see why I wouldn't point you in the right direction. Sounds like your recruiter and career counselor are fucking you. I'll see what numbers I can drum up this week.
  5. Didn't you have a Supra? 80's body style Gray? I think I remember talking to you once or twice. You seemed pretty smart. I had the Purple AWD Talon. I know a CPT at the Johnstown unit, I might be able to get you a interview at the Knox one. Its a little drive from columbus, but the Reserves really needs Flight medics.
  6. There is a reserve flight medic slot in FT Knox and Johnstown PA. They are flying the new M model blackhawk too... If this was a year ago I could have offered you a flight medic job here in texas and kept you on full time orders till we deploy in may.
  7. I took the MSF and the sport bike course (required by military) Great courses. Defiantly saved a few crashes! I will throw up another for Paul's YZF600. I have a R6 and it is a great bike and I have no doubts the his bike is great too! I bet it would also be more comfortable then mine for longer trips. My longest was 3 1/2 hours in cold rain and I was DEAD!
  8. Just interior parts though right? Couldn't be that bad? Take every connector apart and crossion x it
  9. I have been looking for a Twin turbo Setup... Not sure if a procharger would be any good. Needless to say, I will probably be contacting with once I get to this point.
  10. On the Vette I like it... When I picked it up it was raining, and I had only driven a honda civic for the past three years. Needless to say it saved my ass a few times.
  11. As said before, you are going to call admissions, or go online and fill out an application. I would personally look for a small community college, that has a good reputation. I would not hesitate to call larger colleges in the area and see if there are any colleges that they have transfer agreements with. I am sure people in Columbus can tell you which community colleges are good places to go. After you submit your application, with any fees they require you wait, and wait, and finally get accepted. While you are waiting it is advice to take any placement testing the college offers. I managed to test out of first year Spanish taking these. It will also tell you what remedial classes you need to take. Depending how long you have been out of school, you may want to take remedial classes. After you are accepted, and take your placement testing you will want to figure out what the hell you are going to college for (if you don't know already) What degree you want to go for. You will want to acquire a degree plan for your major. If you later plan on advancing to a larger school also get a degree plan for your major at that school. If you plan on starting at the community college level and going to a larger institution set up an appointment with an academic adviser, and tell them. I starting at this community college, I plan to transfer here. What classes will you accept from them. This will help you from taking the same class twice, at different schools and save money! Here is a poor example of a degree plan for Pre Nursing http://conhs.tamucc.edu/generic_BSN.html It basically list what classes you need to complete to receive your qualification. After you do all of this, it is time to actually register for classes. I will normally stay up till midnight the day before registration so I can get in the classes I want. Your degree plan will help you with this. Most of this an academic adviser will walk you though. Though this is a broad example of what you need to do. Knowing this will help you get what you want faster, and help prevent a shitty adviser from fucking you over. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Hope this helped.
  12. Picked up a 97 c5 for 10k with 140k miles
  13. Looks to me they weren't really trying to beat or injure him, but scare him into worst beatings. Tortured isn't that makes a man talk, it's the fear of torture that will.
  14. So, you are saying I should buy a c6 now... leave it with you while I am deployed... then come home to a turbo'd c6 vette?
  15. You have a bike? Are you doing the track day in Houston this weekend?
  16. Not at all man, where you a flight student or something? There is about 2000 flight students there at any given time. Ft rucker is a real whore's delight! Thought about it, but don't they all run into the same weak transmission trouble after 400hp? What is that? A Starion? AWD?
  17. I went to rucker back in 2010.... I was there for like two fucking years! Fast my ass...
  18. http://www.ebay.com/itm/93-94-95-96-97-CHEVY-CAMARO-BELL-HOUSING-ONLY-5-7L-LT1-T56-6-SPEED-TRANSMISSION-/330745593049?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d01f93cd9&vxp=mtr
  19. In the five months starting january I already have febuary and march filled up with schools i need to attend, I have several reserve days to make up, a long with AFTP's (since I am a pilot) I also might be sent to warrant officer advanced course and a 29 day AT... plus after all that shit I am deploying! haha...
  20. How many people with 5speed dsm's really know how to drive them? How many pound on them really too hard? AS in redlind slipping the foot off the clutch dumps? That is the biggest AutoVS 5 speed DSM debate I have heard on dsmtuners. People just can't fucking drive or are just overly hard on them.
  21. Haha, I think putting DSM in any thread sets it up to Derail! I DDed my DSM with a four puck unsprung clutch... (i think that is what I had) Took like three weeks to keep from stalling at times.
  22. It's like having sex with an extra thick rubber... just not as fun...
  23. Hell no I am not married so I will get to keep my money! I would probably not spend that much on a car. And coming home I would probably keep the same budget for a car. I need most my money to accomplish other goals with, having a fun car is just a small one!
