  1. I have no idea... I am pretty sure it is 91-94 though... The numbers on it are... 6263 e2t36577w MD166263 E2T36577 0525 I bought it for my 91 talon, and I am sure i got the right one when i purchases it, But I could have bought a wrong part, or been sent a wrong part! Though it has the DSM link chip in it!
  2. I have a 1g Eprom ECU with DSM line in it... just a FYI Tempted to buy this sucker... I miss my Purple talon... got so many compliments in that sucker.
  3. This is almost cheep enough to justify renting a truck when I come to Ohio in a few months...
  4. I ended up getting a 2005 r6 for 3500 with 7500 miles!
  5. I am a reservist... I avoid all that bullshit once again!
  6. Also, I am in alabama... and I have seen the r6's here for around the same price.
  7. My shit isn't near that bad... I am in aviation... we are chill... I already have my MSC is that is all you need here. I want a street bike, and this is my first bike. I have sat on the R6s and the r6 and I find the s way more comfortable to sit on. Most of my buddies around here recommend the S too. I mostly want something to cruise on the streets. I don't see track days in my future. I haven't been able to get any of the dealers to budge on the price at all down from 7800, they are basically buy it at this or GTFO... Any advice?
  8. for 7800 TTL out the door? Should I jump on this? I can get a reg R6 for the same price... but I like the S better. Views?
  9. A good number of rotary wing guys are those that spend 50 to 100k for school, and can't find a job because they don't have the hours! Get a few deployments and you will be marketable!
  10. There are two people in the army, those that fly, and those that wanna fly! There are two types of aviators in army aviation too, those that wish they could fly, and warrant officer! Your going the right way!
  11. Last I checked you make cw2 automatically after two years. Thought there are rumors being thrown around that you won't get it until after you finish flight school. The last I heard I think the promotion to cw3 for flight was around 60 percent? I think cw4 was around 40? Not too sure on those numbers. I also sent you a PM!
  12. My name is Mr. Tindall, and I am a wo1 waiting to start flight school. I have been through wocs if you are e-5 or above it is 4 weeks. You won't fail, it is taking a few test and getting smoked for a few hours on the first week. Wocs is gravy. Drill Sergeant school was way better! Your a combatatives instructor, I am sure you will be fine! It will take you on average 18 to 24 months to complete flight school. Then you will still receive more training to achieve Pilot in command status. Being a WO is sweet, and the pay raise is nice! Go for it man! If you need any help lmk as I am at good old Ft Rucker now! I also have a really good study book for the AFAST. I scored a 147! Any other questions... ask.
  13. We'll by the time spring break rolls around I should have my bike! Give me a ring if your at PCB and I will come have a beer with ya'll. It is just a short drive for me. I made it in 1h 15 min! I can also pose as your COC incase you get in trouble too! I see myself sleeping on the beach a few times this coming summer!
  14. Mercury corrosion guard, or Corrosion ex... spray all over. We used this on outboard engines in the ocean to prevent salt from corroding the engine.
  15. Where are you stationed at Dover? I am at Ft Rucker, about 2 hours away from PCB... though I have yet to go there.
  16. The punch drill is where it is at! I managed to poke the guy in the eye on round 4, let's just say he wasn't to happy and my ass got kicked out. Damn Semi pro boxers..
  17. I know this car is stock, original motor and everything. If the ECU is not the correct one it is because some moron installed the wrong one. The car is a auto and a diffrent ecu could cause the shifting problem? I have been sick, not going to be working on this thing till probably this weekend. Thanks though!
  18. I will have to do this. It is also shifting funny. Dose the ECU control the tranny too? I know in DSM's there is a separate one. I found out from my neighbor that the transmission was fine, then somebody changed a computer chip in the car (i'm assuming ECU) then it started shifting weird. Basically it has trouble getting into the next gear and slipping a bunch. I will have to check the codes, thanks for the advice! I am really thinking the wrong ECU as I have experience pulling codes like this and I am sure I read the flashes correctly. Anyone have a link for a FSM?
  19. Ok, so I am checking out this civic for my neighbors. Not sure what engine but autozone only shows a 1.5 and a 1.6 for this car. The CEL is on, and I pulled the codes to get number 22 and 21. A little checking around leads me to believe these codes are for the V tec Solenoid Valve, and the V tech pressure valve. The problem I see is I really don't think this engine is V tech (miss emblems and I don't see anything that looks like the solenoid valve on the head.) Any advice?
  20. I called the office, it is public record and anyone can get it as long as they have the right info, already did my homework!
  21. I am currently at ft rucker and really need my birth certificate asap. The quickest way is to have sombody go there for me then overnight it to me. It is at this location Ohio Department of HealthOffice of Vital Statistics225 Neilston StreetColumbus, Ohio 43215(614) 466-2531. I cost 21.50, I will pay the person that gets it 20.00 plus shipping cost via paypal. Who would be willing to do this tomorow? 4192330522. Shaun text me pls!
  22. Price? I am in alabama so it is going to have to be a awsome deal for me to come to ohio...
  23. I used tow ork at a dealership getting paid 7.50 to do that shit... On a yamaha (depending on model) I think you have to remove the intake manifold. Sea do's you change it all by feel!
