  1. I'll take it. Time and place?
  2. Gotta remember the Buggati isn't a quarter mile car by any means. It's been whooped over and over again in the quarter. It comes alive after that. Remember this vid. Perfect example
  3. In total probably around d 16 to 18. Never installed a lift even remotely this extensive. Some of the add-ons he bought took a while (not hard just tedious). And I stuck exactly to the directions. If I were to do it again, I could probably knock off 6 or so hours.
  4. Yeah its far from a "mall crawler" lifts. Has all the supports to do some serious work. Just needs to be welded to finish off reinforcements. Agree on the wheels. See them far too often. Would like to see some 37's on 18's. As stated before the front is higher because he didn't have the original torsion keys. I have the bolts out as far as they'll go while not being able to back out. Needs the stock keys and then adjusted accordingly. Lift is closer to 8-9 inches up front with 5 inch blocks in the rear
  5. Yeah kind of my thoughts also. Unfortunately he didn't have the stock torsion key's for me to reinstall (this kit doesn't use the torsion for any lift hence the ride quality). So it's closer to 8 in the front. The bolts are only turned enough to keep them in place.
  6. Owner gave me permission to post this. I did the install about a week ago at Tire Discounters in Marysville About a month ago, I had a guy bring in his 2006 Duramax with a 2 inch Torsion Key and 1 Inch blocks for an Alignment. Did the best I could with the factory Eccentric Bolts for Camber but still had a bad Negative Camber even maxxed out (2 inch torsion key but the bolts were close to maxxed). On top of that the Steering components were starting to suffer from the lift. So talked to him and told him what parts to order and what needed reinforced. He went above and beyond and ordered a full Cognito 7-9 inch Lift Kit with several up graded goodies like Cognito Upper Control arms. The kit basically dropped the Front/Rear/ and Torsion bar crossmembers, replaced the spindles with taller spindles that repositioned the tie rods to a straighter line with the idler/pitman, replaced the idler with a beefier support bracket, and dropped the front diff down to allow better axle angles and added a stronger front shaft with a double u-joint setup. Before is sitting on 33's on 18 inch wheels that rubbed badly. After is on 35's on 20 inch wheels that have almost 2 inches all around from lock to lock. Oh and ride quality is close to factory since everything is repositioned and nothing is really stressed. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj32/Formula98/Duramax_zpsfeabb2a5.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj32/Formula98/Crossmember1_zpsd9d5b010.jpg
  7. Blessings come out of the most unexpected places. Thanks to the kindness of a member Kelly will have her ring back on her finger tomorrow. Amazing that some of the worst people are more than compensated for by amazing people
  8. My Fiance Kelly called me this morning frantic because she couldn't find her engagement ring and a claddaugh ring her Dad brought her from Ireland. Left work and went over and helped her look. She knew one of her brothers shady POS friends was there yesterday so I called the police. They came and took a report and within 5 hours called her and told her the engagement ring had been sold to a pawn shop. Only problem is legally we have to come up with the $600 they gave him for it to get it back. I'll be pressing full charges which will be felony theft (based on the value) and her dad may press B&E charges since they were stolen while she was at work and no one else was home (she doesn't where them to work because of cleaning chemicals). He's already got 1 felony so he'll be gone for a while. However they're holding off on arresting him so I can get the $600 out of him, physically if I have to.
  9. Was planning on spending the whole day fishing instead spending my whole day off in bed feeling like Dick
  10. My fiance and I are getting married in September at Autumn Lake campgrounds North of Sunbury. It's a dry township but they have a serving license so you can provide your own alcohol. Were looking at around 150 people and won't be much over 5k including dinner and alcohol, (not with dj, florist and such) http://www.autumnlakescampground.com/catering.html

  12. So do you have to register a kayak? Really thinking about picking one up for alum
  13. Seen a few now rebadged with k5 badges. Guess it's the model over in Korea.
  14. Picked up a set of Rigid brand 135° cobalt bits. Drilled out a 12mm two inch hardened bolt without phasing the bit.
  15. Yeah he ended up releasing it. He was just taking his son out for a day of fishing. It lived to see another day.
  16. Well that was the girthiest muskie I've ever seen.
  17. Went out to Alum today and while I had no luck myself, I did help fellow angler land this monster off a bobber and worm. 47" and heavy as hell. I'd say easily 25+lbs. Didn't have a net so had to get in the water and grab it with an old hoodie I had. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj32/Formula98/2013-04-07152228_zps544766a3.jpg
  18. I'll be there shortly. Bringing the fiance too.
  19. Double twist is free and auto syncs iTunes with your phone.
  20. Pretty sure it was an auto especially since I watched him crank out back2back2back 12.5's. Like I said. Deadly concistant.
  21. IIRC pretty much just ignition, injectors and a more free flowing exhaust. Said he was constantly destroying turbo's but it was a bracket car and it was dialed in deadly accurate. Something like 25PSI
  22. Seen 12.5 on the stock turbo. Had a guy and his son both had them out by my old college.
