So I've already found myself playing the mileage game. The ECO model has a couple different displays for fuel economy alone. One being average mileage over the course of either 25, 50, or 500 miles. One of the service writers at Chesrown challenged me to get 50mpg over 50 miles. He had a photo of one he took on a trip doing it.

Other than the torque you get from the diesel, I second that. Looked at them and your only getting 4mpg better than the ECO model for 4k to 6k more. So unless you just want the torque theirs no reason

Haven't seen any USA models yet because of the D.E.T. setup. However the guys with them on the forums seem to really like them.

Understand. Yeah I've read the water pump can be an issue. But like stated that's warranty so not too worried about it. Plus I scored free oil changes for the life of the car, incase I'm feeling to lazy to do it myself

Decided it was time to put the Focus out to pasture and get a reliable vehicle. I haven't had a car payment in 8 years so figured it was time for something decent. Picked up a 2014 Chevy Cruze ECO 6speed in Hot Red today. Not the fastest, or prettiest vehicle but they're reliable and I should be able to get low to mid 40's mpg to and from work with it. Look around at aftermarket tpms companies. Seen several different styles of valve type tpms's. A few I've seen have a swivel that allows them to mount at different angles until you tighten them down. I've installed all different types of them including band clamped monitors. Edit: just looked up the wheels and they state they're tpms compatible. We've mounted some ridiculous wheels with tpms in them without touching the sensor with the tire. Including some HRE's on a C63 AMG
