Not a shocker.
The past two months or so, it seems everyone has forgotten about Covid. I drive past bars that are full, restaurants packed, and people all over my Facebook feed holding large get togethers.
Since this started, I haven’t been inside anywhere aside from the grocery store, or something auto related. Always with a mask. Zero meet ups with friends. Had to attend a funeral yesterday, and of course there was a family of 4 who refused to wear a mask. One of those people went to a gathering of 50 two months back, and it ended up sending a family member to the hospital with covid who past away.
Weird time to be alive. People armed with Facebook memes, and google are suddenly experts on everything.

Well- 0 to $20k they are comfortable with, but I don't think we should spend that much on something that may be short-lived.
Pop up storms really don't happen up here, it's always a front or something predictable. Also, you are rarely more than 2 miles from shore. Docs all over, so you can be in port in 15-20 basically anywhere you go. the cabin is nice for full day and overlight trips...which is a possiblity if the boak is docked in Sanduask for example.
I've done it before and it worked really well actually, but I was just an add on. As long as you have a good line of commununcation with the group. I am actually the one that propsoed it to this group.

I’m sure there’s yearly boat memberships in the area. Definitely go that route! You will have various options to choose from, plus the benefits of a private club.

Instead it's grown the fastest under his presidency than any other president in history, almost 36% from 2017 to 2020 (projected increase of over $8.3 trillion, even before the full impact of COVID is realized) with no signs of slowing. From what I've seen, people get a lot more sane once their bubble is personally impacted by it.

I shut my business down weeks before my state (NC) required us to do so, and still haven’t opened my doors. I have friends in the medical field, and a friend that’s living in Italy. I haven’t fucked around since day 1, and I’m in my early 30s, active, healthy, no conditions. Not worth the risk, or the possibility to pass it along to someone else and ice them.

In my circle of friends, a few of their kids have every single symptom. Have tested negative for all the usual suspects, yet each doctor has refused to test for Covid due to them not being in the demographic. Insanity. All have had up and down fevers, horrible coughs, etc for over a week.
Personally have known 3 that have died. 40s and early 50s. All very active and healthy. None were on any meds, or any pre existing conditions.
My girl is a teacher, and there have been two kids that lost both parents to Covid.
It’s wild to watch people try and rationalize all of this, to just a normal virus.

I ordered parts for my 1960's BMW motorcycle chassis from china at the end of march. It's June. I track it 3 times a week. They just left China on an airplane yesterday.
I will say, that before corona virus it took 1.5 months to get stuff from china through amazon. International is slow, but big 'rona make it amazingly slow.
I am actually worried I am going to move before the parts I ordered IN MARCH will get here.
I’ve been getting motorbike parts from the UK in 2 days via DHL. Things from California have been taking 2-3 weeks.

They did open up unemployment to include the self employed this time around unless that's an Ohio thing. Also the PPP and SBA loans are out there. I'm in process of getting my own approved and can advise him if you need help. My wife is also a banker and busy as hell getting these done for people right now.

In regards to spending money right now, you would think people would be ready to deal a bit. I’m in the market for a new bike, and figured I will just purchase new to help a local business, vs going the used route. These fools are still trying to rake you over the coals on fees. $450 freight, $400 doc fee, etc. Emailed a dealer a state away, and within an hour was given an offer under MSRP and zero fees.
Side note, not a vette guy but man are people giving away C5Z right now!
