  1. Saw that earlier...

3D printing is becoming amazing technology. I'm looking forward to creative minds re-imagining and redesigning engineered products in our lives.

    Stuff is getting pretty crazy.

Koenigsegg has been 3d printing turbos for awhile now as well.

I've seen older f1 AP titanium calipers before. Couldn't even imagine the costs involved....

  2. Probably bumper exit. IMO hood exit just looks lazy.

Out of curiosity, what about oval exhaust under the car to deal with space so you can still easily do a belly pan?

    X2

That's what I did on my car. Right after the collectors off the headers, it's a completely flat exhaust. White trash Nascar side exit exhaust. Gives plenty of clearance, and they make mufflers for that style exhaust system.

  3. Well, that didn’t take long. I got back in at $8600. Let’s see how far this train will take us

    Back in as well...

This is turning into a short term addiction...

Entertain us all with how much invested when you “got in at $8600”. Everybody in here talks about investing money here n there and chirping up “riding it out” “dumping everything” and for some reason I just picture some dilberts on here spending $42 and thinking they’re the new wolf on wall street when they make an .08ct profit.

    Right under 50k this round.

  4. First is cost. It's $2500-$4000 more for the diesel.

Secondly, the EcoBoost engines are giving up 5-8 MPG to the diesel, but in the USA diesel is now much more expensive than regular, let alone premium or super. Again...if economics are of a concern, then the EcoBoost's running on regular will save $$$ over the life of the truck. If diesel was cheaper than gas - which it used to be years ago - I'd give more credit to the PowerStroke.

Outside of that, I'll give the diesel credit for likely not needing different/more expensive maintenance (DEF, special servicing, etc) but that could be a factor. The EcoBoost's are proven to be a very reliable mill, as opposed to gas engines of the past where they may have gotten tired after 100k miles. Plus, as I mentioned, the transmissions used to be beefier behind diesels but in 2018 that's not the case...it's relatively the same as the gas powertrains (brakes, rearends, suspension as well).

Diesel is cheaper than 93. Rather large mpg spread. Resale on diesel is always stronger.

  5. Oh, the sky is falling...... ugh.

Name ONE thing the government created controls, that has done better than it was before......and did not do better once they got out....

This is a great thing. You can re-read this a year from now.

NN was just a band-aid, to a larger problem but better than nothing.

One year from now, most likely nothing will change but the long term effects could end up miserable for the end user.

"Free internet" doesn't win, and anyone who thinks otherwise is just letting their political views cloud judgement.

  6. I've been reading more into it and kind of what I got out of all this.

So, in broad terms, people for Net Neutrality prefers Govt regulation and people against are for a free market is what I'm gaining. People like Kerry are terrified of capitalism working (because socialist) so they want things like this tied down by regulation. People like Kerry think the Government knows best and not the citizens of this country. Guess what happens if ISPs start charging for websites and what not? People stop using it and the next man up. It's called competition and it works.

So congress can't stop it and Obama didn't put NN into effect?

You should read some more, but clearly that's not a strong suit.

From your own posts it's very clear, you have just formed an opinion on the subject and have no actual knowledge. Just looking at it from a political standpoint.

Anyone that's against the ruling is just a snowflake, cuck, libtard though, right?

  7. Doesn't congress still have to vote on this?

Didn't Obama put net neutrality in place when he took office? Will the internet be the same as it was before he took office? What exactly is going to change here? Are we basing potential change on the hypothetical slippery slope?

What do you know, the liberals on the board coming out of the woodwork telling anyone who disagrees with them that they are ignorant and uninformed.

Liberal logic: Hey, you know what would be great??? More Govt control!

Also liberal logic: No, no, no. Not from that politician that we don't like.

You guys a fucking clowns :lolguy:

    Look at everything you wrote.

Take another stab at who the clown is
