  1. So first of all: awww you were doing so well and then you let your ignorance climb to the top and fuck you into the ground. Please, for the love of god stop being so uninformed.

Actually this is the opposite of competition. This deregulation gives ISPs the power to extort the content providers and play favorites. It both interferes and eliminates competition because the ISPs can choose to charge smaller companies that provide competing products higher access fees to their customer bases across their lines. It basically makes the ISP a partner in every business because those business now have to pay to get access past the filter.

Think about it like this: If you are the landline telephone provider and the ISP in a midsize town, you can now throttle every voip call across your lines down to 0, so people have to buy your landlines to use their home telephones. Where is the competition in that? This is not a hypothetical: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/03/25/AR2005032501328.html

Also think about the lines and the competitive local exchange carriers. There is an Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier who owns the transmission lines (the monolopy carrier) and the competitive local exchange carrier who buys space on the incumbent's lines. The Incumbents were bundling services and handicapping the CLEC's so that the majority of customers were driven to buy their services, and because they owned the lines it was take it or leave it for the CLEC's. The FCC intervened, the ILEC's sued and the court sided with the ILEC's. Immediately after the CLEC's closed in a lot of markets. How is that competitive if the owner of the lines can just drive their competitors for other services out of business? That case, gave traction to the beginning of net neutrality because if the court wasn't going to let the FCC protect the competitors in the marketplace, it could regulate the pipeline to create a situation that supported competition.

Nothing is more irritating. People love to blindly have an opinion on something, they don't know anything about.

  2. I've been reading more into it and kind of what I got out of all this.

So, in broad terms, people for Net Neutrality prefers Govt regulation and people against are for a free market is what I'm gaining. People like Kerry are terrified of capitalism working (because socialist) so they want things like this tied down by regulation. People like Kerry think the Government knows best and not the citizens of this country. Guess what happens if ISPs start charging for websites and what not? People stop using it and the next man up. It's called competition and it works.

You're obviously not educated on the subject.

  3. I have a tempur pedic rhapsody breeze while it was amazing when new, I kinda dislike it now. The breeze was supposed to help with the cooling nature and again it worked when it was new, now not so much.

    X2

I have my 6k tempur pedic collecting dust.

It was wonderful at first, but same issues. I would wake up sweating, and it developed dips. I only weigh 160lbs and my girlfriend weighs under 120lbs. Complete waste of money.

I have tuft and needles in all my rooms now. While I'm not blown away by the comfort, I do sleep much better.

They also offer a 100 day trial. No questions asked, if you don't like it they will refund you 100% and will send someone to pick it up, and they donate it.

$700 for a king too, which is dirt cheap.

  4. You can get a set of valve covers off an older mustang, it will have a provision to put the PCV in and then it routes back to under the carb. (The Cobra ones you listed look like they do that). Here is what it looks like on my 69:

On a side note, I am looking to put a roller motor in my 69, what distributor did you use for your carb conversion? Everything I read says an 85 Mustang 5 speed from Autozone.

I'm running a GM HEI setup. Simple, and cheap.

Running an efi pump, with a regulator built to cut pressures down low for a carb. It's still a bit high. 9 psi is the lowest I can get it.

Switching to FI with one of these setups...

  5. I have a 95 cobra motor which I've converted to carb in my car. Just got it running, but need to address a breather setup. I'm not a v8 or carb guy, and hate sifting through mustang forums to read 50 different responses.

I currently have the stock valve covers on the car, with no pcv or breathers.

Can I just toss these on?

With two filters, and call it a day?

Road race car if that matters. I don't care about emissions, etc.

  6. Yes, but I wont do a compound on this car. Low end torque is something im trying to avoid, not add!

    :fuckyeah:

My only hesitation. The set right now is pretty peppy especially with the small runner China manifold-but this may go out the window when I give it more Cam which is likely over winter.

Ohio Mile safety for the speeds I would see is extreme for the budget. I would effectively need a 25. 5 cage, full Halon....ect. Also I would have to design the entire cooling system for a 1 mile WOT run. The 1/2 mile is much easier on the car, and the wallet!

Assuming you're using link? Can you setup rolling anti lag with these days?

  7. Yeah it was a twin Ebay 50 trim first on a 2.4, then Single GT45, then single 50 trim on a 2.0 with various D50/Starquest/and Rx7 transmissions behind it. Most of the pcis from that car where lost when my buddies server crashed, but there are some still floating around I have to try and find.

    Jes, but which turblo?

    Yes that's the first priority

  8. My experience in Charlotte echoes yours.

I tried having a fully custom one off home built, and couldn't get anywhere. Each tiny little step would take weeks, and absolutely zero care on their end with obtaining new business. This was with multiple firms.

I've had this issue over and over again, with anything service based.

These Jesus preaching mouth breathers do move at a snails pace, and have no motivation past what they need to just survive it seems.

  9. Bitcoin and Ether have proven to be profitable enough for me that I didn't need to save a penny for a down payment for a house.

But then again I have a dedicated rig I got dirt cheap and have no overhead on using it electricity wise.

That's why I'm considering getting back into a setup. No electricity costs.

If I would have held out from my initial run, it would be worth millions.

  10. The mining aspect of it is not profitable enough to be worth considering by most.

However, as an investor I've made some substantial money on bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin. I took profits out, but have kept a considerable amount in all three for the long term. At this point, I think everyone should own at least one bitcoin, but time will tell.

Considering power costs are zero, that's the only reason I'm considering once again.

I made a very nice return in the past. Only wish I held out.... Oh well

  11. As the title states, anyone here doing this?

Awhile back I had free server rack space, and had a decent setup going....

I haven't paid attention in some time, but considering spending a few bucks on another setup, as I won't need to worry about electricity again...

  12. I couldn't sell this one that cheap unless something needed fixed. Its honestly too nice! Its likely the nicest non-new car I've ever owned.

Similar ones in terms of mods/fit/finish sell for 11-13k+ on the forums but that's obviously between enthusiast who may be willing to overpay. I would not expect that much out of it-but it would be a little more than 6500. ;)

I bought my EVO8 with 49k miles, for 13k 4-5 years ago, and clean VR4s at the time were the same money. It's crazy what some of those sell for.

Although at this point in time, I would much rather have a VR4. Evos have not aged well.....
