  1. If you end up with any of those three, don’t buy the most clapped out example.
  2. Great guy. He helped me with mine, very early on and cannot sing enough praise. R8 and the earlier Gallardo are fairy reliable, and still look good (IMO) but leave a lot to be desired from a driving perspective if you have seat time in anything comparable, that’s newer. Which is obvious, but they don’t have the charm and cache of something old like say a 930. If you find the right GTR, you’re not going to lose much if anything. If you throw deprecation out of the window, the new Evora are a seriously potent car for the money.
  3. Find the DMV inspector for the area of that dealership, and complain to them. Also, have an attorney contact the company who issued the dealers bond. Both of those usually solve issues quickly.
  4. Starter + Check the ground. Disconnect all of them, and clean the contact area. Common issue. As for the brakes, the 500 has a vacuum pump.
  5. I’ve never been a fan of corvettes from a visual standpoint, but the C8 looks killer. Haven’t been this hyped on a new launch since the 4c was announced, and instantly left a deposit for that. Strongly considering leaving one for the C8!
  6. 71 lbs is no joke! Hiking and rock climbing, with the occasional gym appearance. No set schedules. Dieting is far more important to me
  7. 15ish years ago, I was in high school and just around the age of being able to get my license. My friends cousin was into cars, and he invited us to the watch his car at the DSM shootout. I didn’t have a single clue what a Dsm was, or have much interest in cars prior. After that event, I was hooked. His cousin owned a shop, where people would occasionally meet and race. (Industrial park) The majority of cars that were there probably ran 13-14s, and there was a Mustang that was beating everyone and the owner was extremely cocky. My friends cousin called him out, with a piece of shit turbo probe he randomly had sitting around. It beat the Mustang, and I offered to buy it a week later. Still didn’t have my license, and no idea how to drive a manual, but it was mine. I think it was $900. Since I’ve probably owned 150+ vehicles, everything from DSM to exotic junk. Not much interest in cars these days, as I hate the attention stuff I would purchase brings. I’m not far from some of the best roads in NC, paved and unpaved. My interest is with bikes these days, more enjoyable IMO and you can have a fleet of new bikes for not much when compared to cars.
  8. Rentals if you’re looking for another job
  9. Absolutely loved my day job, almost couldn’t have asked for a better gig. I worked alone, had no one to answer to on a daily basis, and the nearest other employee was multiple states away. Month + vaca, etc. Enjoyed that for nearly 8 years, till I was offered a relocation out of state. Turned it down, sold off some businesses I had large stakes in and decided I could pack it in. Been enjoying retirement for nearly 8 months. This happened right at the start of summer, so I took the whole summer to travel with my girlfriend. Extremely fortunate Going to do the same shortly, but on a motorcycle from May-Aug. it’s something I’ve always wanted to do, seems like the perfect time.
  10. I live in Charlotte, but need to pick something up in the Columbus area shortly. I would be willing to take this, vs flying if someone wanted it. I have zero use for it at this point, and have far too many vehicles sitting around. Figured someone here might want a rust free truck, granted it’s 2wd.. 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 - Only 52,358 Miles - Reliable and fuel efficient V6 - Manual transmission - Crank windows - New tires - Pioneer radio - Rhino lined bed -Rust free frame and body. Always a southern vehicle. - Orginal owners manual This was purchased from the original owner, who just had a new clutch installed. Directly after having it installed, it's been difficult getting into second gear without grinding. It needs an adjustment somewhere, but should be a simple fix. If you press the clutch pedal all the way to the floor firmly, getting into second gear isn't an issue below 10mph. The truck can still be driven, and is still nice and tight as it has such low mileage. Extremely low miles, in work truck trim. Essentially impossible to find these days. This would make someone a wonderful work truck, for a very long time. Always a non smokers vehicle. Plastic dash surround has a few cracks from the heat, which is common on these. The paint isn’t showroom new, it has scratches. $4,500 http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1310/13777751/24822953/414068448.jpg http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1310/13777751/24822953/414068447.jpg http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1310/13777751/24822953/414068449.jpg
  11. Just eat a well balanced diet and carry on.
  12. Pass on both! Bad time to want one of those years, values have been climbing very recently! Look for C55 Amg too if you can tolerate the looks.
  13. Well bought! Lovely cars.
  14. http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1589/13754861/24767986/413928225.jpg The hot rod power tour went through my office today. Didn’t snap any photos of that stuff though.
  15. It seems like you will have to scale fairly large to make any real money, not to mention time consuming. Pulling all the parts, inventory, shipping, etc. Once you go legit, you will have even more expenses.. How are you obtaining the vehicles? As others stated, I would be very concerned with stolen goods.
  16. People cannot even drive, without being distracted by a phone and almost killing people on a daily basis. Sit at a restaurant and just people watch, it's rare to see anyone fully engaged in a real convo. Families with children all buried in electronic devices, none of them talking to each other. There's no easy solution for this madness, but starting with shitty parenting is a good step. Everyone is so disconnected, and constantly looking to blame someone for some issue in their life. Society of humans who can no longer manage simple life stresses. Next would be the gun crazy knuckle dragging parents. Just over the weekend, a student at my girlfriends school was posting online with an AR and other students sending out group messages about possibly "doing something" None of this made any media, and similar things happen on the regular. None of this ever leaks out...... You wonder how many events could possibly be avoided, but you have to handle everything with velvet gloves these days..
  17. Pretty much this. You already know the market, risks, etc. Just take the dive, and never look back. As stated healthcare will be a pricey line item, but I'm sure you can easily make that work. If I ever decide to sell my business, and cash out I will be throwing a massive chunk at this exact same strategy. Exit hell, you will feel like a new person.
  18. Amazon I hate going into part stores with a passion.
  19. Jewtoys

    Kia Stinger

It looks much better moving. Saw a few up parked, they look super cheap.

    New rider

See if there’s any track based schools near you, where they rent 250s out. Awesome bike!
