I hurd it as well and I am south of Grove City, I was outside cleaning my car and figured it was a low flying plain as we get quite a few low flying plains due to rickenbacker airforce base being close but I saw nothing in the air.

I could tell a gain on mine after I ported it vs when it was stock.

the intake will work but the cam wont, you will have to buy and extension harness for the map sensor though because on the ls2 the map sensor is on the front of the intake.
