if you feel like spending some coin on custom axles, you could rig up the iron 8.8 center section from a ford expidition in there! well, i think it would be cool anyways...

10 months??? i think you need to get ahold of a lawyer right about now, and get your parts and money back. hell, for all you know if they do eventually screw it all back together they could do a half assed job on it, because they sure sound like a POS shop.

1996 F-350 Dually - Recommendations?

the 7.3l diesel is 444cu-in, and 426cu-in would be 7.0l. he probably saw the 460 and thought it was one of fords more well known big blocks(427/428/429, since ford never had a 426). if im not mistaken, it should be backed by a C6, which as far as i know(not much, lol) are pretty bullet proof. if its 2WD then it has the twin I-beam suspension. as old as it is, it will probably need a complete rebuild(if its not rebuilt, they will wear the shit out of tires). thats the only thing i can think of though. -
seafoam doesn't make any promises about your car being 'faster', but the driveability difference is amazing. throttle response, idle quality, etc., it just makes your vehicle better to drive no matter how slow it is(i DD an 80HP geo tracker, the difference is amazing even in something that pathetic!).
-
2k miles??? from all ive read, the seafoam people say no more than 100 miles! yep, seafoam is the shit!
-
you definatly want to let the car sit for a little while after you use it. i usually do the seafoam, find something else to do for about a half hour, then go out and romp on the car making a giant smoke show. here is a great tutorial for a complete engine seafoaming: http://www.fbodyonline.com/forum/f20/how-seafoam-your-car-3510/ you dont have to do it all(i usually just do #3), but its all their if you want to.
-
i have read nothing but good and used it myself a few times. suck it in through the vaccuum line, leave it for a half hour or so, then romp the hell outa the car and enjoy the smoke screen!
-
this should be pretty interesting. i think people have hit 70 before though, so they should aim for 80!

considering how many loads are hauled that are very close to the state weight limit, those scales have to be accurate(oh trust me, i know all about sitting at a scale when your over). both truck scales and corner scales use load sensors(metal blocks that send a voltage that changes when they compress due to weight being added) to determine the weight of something, so i doubt they are really much different in accuracy. the software used with corner scales just reports weight to a finer degree than what is used with truck scales. truck scales, and im sure corner scales, do need periodical calibration though, so that could explain any false readings.

i went there about 5 years ago with my parents, but we were there for only 2 hours. my sister called and forced us to come home so my mom could be with her while she was having her second kid. fucking stupid.
-
i hit ~120MPH(speedo doesn't read that high, but the needle was buried) in mah geo tracker. now that shit is scarry!
-
*1st ep spoiler* the shelby team almost got jipped in the challenge, but im really happy to see the porsche douches get the boot. and props to that solstice, i think it was ~440hp in that tiny thing! that pantera is DO WANT! gotta root for the microbus guys too, just because microbuses rule.

people keep saying his career is over, yet r kelly fucked a 13 year old girl and his career is perfectly fine. he deserves a fucking beatdown for this though, that is absoloutley pathetic.
-
wow, i was expecting a lot worse than that. if your gonna make a list of mad scientists that did demented shit, then why not go with the sick freaks that experimented on prisoners in WWII? both aldini and ure experimented on dead bodies, which i dont think is 'morally wrong' at all. demikhov and bruyukhonenko experiments, although pretty sick, made huge leaps in organ transplants(and, lets be real here, the dog head had merely basic brain functions. i think its safe to say that it wasn't much different than a dead person kept on life support). as for dippel, they barely told us about anything he had done. and, again, it appears he just did crap to corpses, nothing abnormally sick like the nazi experiments. cool article, but people(the commenters) are making this out to be far more than it is.

probably because its the hands down cheapest completely carbon fiber car you can buy. the entire body is carbon fiber and the chassis is a bonded aluminum and carbon fiber, your not gonna get the car to cost any cheaper than that(unless you want to sell for a loss). anyone who wants one or owns one isn't making excuses, they dont have to justify why the want or have the car. dont want it? dont like the price? dont buy it. -

ahh, c'mon, can't be that bad. someone around here drives one daily! besides, if you drove a geo tracker daily, i doubt you would notice the difference between the 2 when it comes to creature comforts, lol. hey, mah tracker even weighs about the same as the elise!!! sport compact car built up a toyota MR-s to run with a lotus elise, and, although it could lay down better numbers, they said it was absoloutley scary to drive and not enjoyable at all while the elise was the complete opposite. -

man, it didn't really start till about half way through, but damn was that last half great! just one thing that annoys me about all these pro-weed articles; they all say 'its not that harmful/its never killed anyone', but its been shown time and time again that pot is more harmful for your lungs than tobacco is. im all for weed, just like alcohol and insurance payed vicodin due to self inflicted bodily injuries(long story), but in moderation. unless you just dont give a shit about your body, lol. -
