completely agree! i've been wondering since its inception why GM didn't go with one of their tiny european diesels in the volt in place of the small gas engine. i really dont think emissions would be much of an issue since they could detune it for the application. diesel sales have been WAY down as of late though. as for homes, geothermal is the best option IMO. i just can not understand why it's taking so long to catch on, if not for homes then atleast for businesses. i'm sure someone that knows a lot more about all of this alternative energy stuff than my self might have an explanation though. could you elaborate? they are designed with the habitat in mind. one of the biggest problems was that the pipelines would have to go through sections of permafrost and would have to be elevated so the ground didn't melt. they also have heat exchangers attached to further prevent the heat reaching the ground.

i would LOVE to know how a fucking pipeline kills bears. please, for the love of god, someone tell me how that works. wonder why it never came up during the election? maybe because there is no logical reason for it to be brought up. then again, same could be said about fucking clothes... the problem is that this is america, land of the spoiled. although we may drive maybe 50 miles a day, we want know that we can drive an extra 150 if we just feel like it, and have range to spare. if people only bought as much as they needed, then our economy would certainly be in a lot better shape since all those morons wouldn't have financed mansions that they couldn't afford.

oh, i have a TON of different dream cars! this is my idea of the PERFECT cruiser... '64 lincoln continental hard top black lots of chrome 20" 15 spoke wheels(something like this) some gigantic fat tires in the rear bagged bored and stroked 460 pushing something like 500HP modern auto tranny and gigantic chrome pipes stretching all the way down the side!

well, there are plenty of cars i would take over either of those, but thats just what came to mind at the time. and i certainly wouldn't plan on buying new! lol

i want to like it, but there are so many other cars that i would rather have. i would so rock a G37 over either of the genesis cars.

i watched that show last night, now those fuckers have me looking for those damn insoles. im not the most gullible person in the world, but those damn infomercials get me every time.

no, there have been a LOT of people that have ordered them and not recieved their heads. google the company name to see thread upon thread(mostly about 4v heads for windsor V8s).

upon a quick google search, it appears that next to no one has ever even seen those heads. nelson racing has a set, but, short of them, i cant find anyone else.

i remember reading about these a while ago. appearantly still around too... http://www.araoengineering.com/ ...they make bolt on 4v heads for small block/big block/LSx chevy engines, early HD engines, and VW beetle engines. prices are damn steep though($7,500 for LSx and $10,000 for big block:eek:)! make sure to check out the vids, that engine sounds absoloutley insane!

can you imagine just deciding one day that you want to build your own jet car??? i mean, people designing their own sports cars is one thing(like the ariel guys did), but just deciding that you would like to build your own personal jet car with a carbon fiber body and all kinds of other mega expensive materials! thats just crazy, i couldn't even imagine that. ive watched every single video on his website, and i suggest everyone else do it too. its definatly worth wasting the time! gotta watch the steam cars too. i saved them for last because i wasn't interested in them, but they are way fricken cooler than i thought!

i figured that an expidition rear would be a bit cheaper. possibly stronger than the cobra rear too? might not be much of a difference though. hell, like i have a clue what im talking about, lol.
