Raced a guy with a 2010 speed 3 the other night, quick little car, but of course he just kept saying it was stock. He did pop the hood, i saw a "cold" air intake, i know it was at least missing some of the exaust, and his buddy gave up that it has a tune. Any idea what one of these would make with at least those mods? Looks like they make 263/280 stock and only weigh 3200 ish pounds. From what im seeing, they pick up a good bit just from bolt ons and tune.

Lol, i figured maybe i fucked up a wire or something stupid, but realized later on, i dont think anything to do with the starter runs over the intakes

2000 bonneville, 3.8 v6. had to do lower intake and valve cover gaskets on it yesterday. got it done, changed the oil, filled with coolant and ran it until it was up to temp and got all the air out. drove it around for a little bit last night, all was good. got up this morning and drove it about a mile up the road and back, and parked it for about a half hour. when i got back in, you could hear the starter click, but nothing, tried again, just clicked again. figuring maybe it was the security system acting funny (the light likes to come on from time to time), i pulled the key out and gave it a minute. fired right up. drove the car about 40 miles without a hitch, kept my eye on the temp gauge as well as had the torque app on my phone open and watched it on there, all was well. car sat for about 4 hours, went out and it fired right up. drove it about 30 miles this time, stopped for gas, then it went back to just clicking. again pulled the key for minute, fired right up. about half way home from here, i stopped to make a turn, and as i started to accelerate, i felt a slight hesitation, and let off for a sec, but all seemed ok, so i figured i get home and kept on going. pulled into the parking lot and wife thought she heard a weird noise, i shut the car off, and all you hear is what sound like something spinning like crazy, so i pop the hood, see smoke coming from the starter area and ran for a wrench to disconnect the battery. by time i made it back to the car it had stopped, but was still smoking from the starter and from the hole thats just to the right off the head in the block. now the car wont even attempt to start. any ideas?

From what im seeing, it says its wireless AC. Some things are wireless, some wired. I tried the test on the computer (wired) and my phone and both came back at 22 ish. Im not sure on the exact model right now, but its a motorola surfboard

we just upgraded our internet from time warners turbo internet, to their ultimate internet (50 down and 5 up vs 20 down and 2 up) we got a new new modem with it as well. i have it running through my linksys ea6400 router, and decided to check the speed through the router, which came back at about 13 down and 5.5 up. so tried it on my phone and 22 down and 5.5 up. so before calling time warner, i connected to the new modem strait to the computer and did get like 53 down and 5.5 up. i reconnected everything through the router again, only this time i factory reset the router before testing again. this time i did get 32 down and 5.5 up. any ideas on what might be going on? the router is only about a year old and i would sure think be able to handle 50 mb. is there something i need to maybe change in the modem?

Do yourself a huge favor and pick up one of the bluetooth obd2 adapters. Got mine off amazon for about 70. You can leave it plugged in and just download an app on your phone.

Has about 65k miles on it. Replaced all the bearings about 3 years ago. Asking 250 obo. Tci street fighter 10' 3500 stall converter 200 obo 4l60e trans. Has about 160k on it. Has corvette servos and b&m shift kit. Shifts great. 250 obo Lt1 steel drive shaft. 20 Everything else: Alternator. Been on less than a year and really only drive the car once a week. 50 Meizure electric water pump. Works great. Paid a close to 400 for it new. 150 A/c delete pulley. 20 Also still have valve covers, balancer, egr stuff, etc.... Intakes, heads and cam are gone. The exuast is possibly gone, if not: Pacestter midlength headers custom mid pipe with cut out 2.5 inch stainless steel magnaflow catback

while i will agree with you that in most cases, judging some one by their internet personality isnt the best idea, there are exceptions, and this douche (matthew) is one of them. He was given multiple chances to quit acting like a massive douche and get with it, but nothing ever changed. I dont think anyone is doubting that there COULD be more to the story, but knowing what we do about said douche, we just dont doubt that it also could have happend just as described.

100% agree. I love my f body and its going no where any time soon. On the other hand, when i went car shopping again, i was kind of aiming for a 02 ws6, but kinda glad i went gto instead. Im hoping to make it out more this year, but it wont be in the f body anymore lol. But congrats again anthony, car looks awesome. If you wanna find out how slow it is before mods, ive got a stock gto that will give ya a run
